Well Done Mr H. At least there maybe some racing at BP to enjoy now. Once again, well done.

I've said it before. We had Jason Doyle at No 1 for two seasons, didn't do us a lot of good in terms of our end league potion did it. Strength in depth is the answer.
-
Think you may be surprised.
-
Nick Morris, Antonio Lindback, Piotr Pawlicki, Timo Lahti, Vaclav Milik, Josh Grazonic........................There's loads about.
-
I would have thought that Jason Doyle was more than happy with the BP track, He knows it like the back of his hand.
-
Where did he say that ?
-
Yes .......................................Yes it is.
-
It's in Norfolk.

No there hasn't been any announcement .

We are delighted to announce that Josh Auty makes a return to Leicester next season as one of the two Lions reserves and he will have a new race partner in Paul Starke. Auty made six Elite League appearances for Leicester before injury in May ruled him out and Starke was part of Poole’s Elite League Championship winning team last season. Co-promoter David Darcy who represented the club at the Elite Draft Reserve selection process on Tuesday said: “My priority was to secure Josh Auty first of all and I was pleased that when it came to making my second choice Paul Starke was available. With Josh and Paul that gives us a solid foundation at reserve to build upon now. The news was well received by David Hemsley and that gives him and Norrie Allan a great start to securing the riders to complete the main body of the team.”

Micheal McDonald was briefly in Steely Dan.

Ground Share at Leicester Doubts over the future of speedway at the Brandon Stadium, the home of the Coventry Bees, was heightened yesterday with the news that planning consultants had outlined proposals to build 250 houses on the site. Coventry’s Promoter Mick Horton’s reaction to the news was that he estimated the club had probably eighteen months to find a new home and stated that a ground share with Leicester Speedway may be an interim solution due to its close proximity. “It is in the interest of British Speedway and especially the Elite League that the identity of the Coventry Bees is maintained in British Speedway and to this end Leicester Speedway would be only too happy to enter into negotiations that would assist in providing a home for the Coventry Bees as required to ensure that the club retained continuity in both the short and medium term and to ensure the name is not lost” said the Lions Promoter David Hemsley.

HANS Andersen has agreed to rejoin Poole as the reigning Elite League champions make their first move towards building their team for next season.

Everybody talks about big money in Poland. What exactly is the difference how much can Doyle earn riding there as apposed to the uk. Does anyone actually know or is it another one of those great Speedway things where everyone who ever attends a meeting is an expert.

Let's be honest having Jason Doyle, as good as he is, at Leicester hasn't done us a lot of good regards league position has it. My suggestion would be to concentrate on building a strong 1 to 7.

ahhhh I see.

Club Statement The news story that appeared on the Daily Star’s website on Wednesday that Jason Doyle was possibly looking for a new team in 2016 initially caused a ripple within the club. The Australian Champion was quoted as saying that his thinking was based on a punishing travel schedule that sees him with little rest time between racing for the Lions on a Saturday night at the Jordan Road Surfacing Stadium and then fulfilling his commitment to his Polish club, Torun the next day. “I have noted Jason's concerns that he has about riding for a Saturday track and can appreciate what he is saying. Norrie and I will be outlining our plans for next season with Jason and hopefully together we can find ways to resolve the problem. Fans can be assured that we will do everything possible to ensure that Jason is at Leicester next year” said the Lions Promoter David Hemsley.

Like Bell Vue and Wolverhampton you mean.

I would make a guess at 1,000 / 1,400 maybe.
-
I'm surprised he stayed as long as he did to be honest.

Have to agree, entertainment value zero.............Satisfaction at having watched good close racing zero..................Lots of overtaking zero................Entrance and programme £20, plus fuel costs...................Result dissatisfaction and more visits to Sheffield.

King's Lynn Vs Leicester 24/8
justathought replied to Star Lady's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Maybe clubs should do something about not having meetings for three weeks when the sun is shining at the hight of summer. Instead of trying in vain to fit everything in when it's the rainy season.....................Just a thought.
