  1. I think unless they make a smart move and bring in some decent replacements for the injured riders. Then I agree it will be difficult to make the top six. But, with the right riders they could win at both Rye House and Scunthorpe.
  2. Kim Nilsson , Linus Eklof. Don't know about their availability or PL averages.
  3. He struggled while guesting for Leicester at the weekend. But he is a trier, think he is very low on confidence. Good luck to him.
  4. I agree with Volty, Looks like we will be also rans once again.
  5. The best weather we've had and no home speedway for two weeks. Raining and a full weekend of Speedway. Something wrong I think !
  6. I'm coming to have a look at the Newcastle meeting.
  7. Bjerre not riding he's in Denmark, or somewhere thats its cold in winter
  8. Just out of interest does DHs wife actually know anything about speedway
  9. Interesting times at the home of the Leicester Lions. Funnily enough I do see DH point. Being 12 points up and still losing isn’t good. And to be fair, if I was in his position, I think I wouldn’t be very happy either. But, it does show us one thing. The Lions heat leaders aren’t good enough I’m afraid. Bjerre is to inconsistent , Nieminen isn’t a true No 1 and Karlsson is hit and miss. The loss of Roynon has buggered us up big style. Top six I suspect and then when the big boys come calling…………Oh well.
  10. Some riders and the promoter shout at each other, and it's the end of Speedway. Get Real.
  11. Exactly. It really is very simple, if you don't like whats on offer dont go.
  12. You really do have an elegant tern of fraise, combined with a true mastery of the written word.
  13. Get Sky TV to broadcast a Leicester meeting, then see what the reaction would be .
  14. Adam Roynon now free and having a spin after tonights meeting.
  15. I think that’s a very sensible idea. It was a good win for Leicester I took my mate Pete along, who used to ride for Long Eaton, Sunderland and Cradley Heath back in the days when you could feed a family of seven for less than ten bob. Can you believe they used to race for £2 a point. Anyway, beside the point. I did enjoy the meeting, although the track was a bit heavy, I thought both teams put in the effort and it was nice to see the Lions win at Sheffield at last.
  16. Just back from Sheffield. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh what a win
  17. i hope its a Leicester win or point. But, it won't be easy, when you look at past results not our best away track.
  18. Well in that case I wish he would make up his bloody mind. The amount was 10k last time he talked about it.
  19. I take your point, and agree. However, it’s fairly clear that the track at Leicester isn’t going to be changed. But, forming a committee and attempting to raise the necessary funds is better than just moaning about it. I have personally voted with my feet and found pastures new to watch speedway. It’s a real shame because I really do love everything else about the place. And I will continue to want the Leicester team to be successful. As it is at present crowds will continue to diminish till it gets to a level where its not viable to carry on. But, at the end of the day it is Mr Hemsleys business and its up to him.
  20. I did actually suggest this a while ago, but it seems Leicester fans don't really wont to do anything about it exept moan.
