Not great fixture planning to be honest

What happens if tonights encounter, Leicester v Scunthorpe, is called off ? Raining in the vicinity of the track at present.

In fairness an ambulance is perhaps one of the last things you would expect to brake down. Presumably they are maintained on a regular basis. I guess it is just the way the cookie crumbles. I'm sure all who cannot make the Tuesday restaging will be reimbursed. I think it is helpful to realise that speedway is far from a proffesionly run sport which couldn't operate without a good number of volunteers . And doesn't have the finances associated with football etc. Basically it is a semi pro operation that is lucky to break even at the end of a season. I think to a degree when attending meetings. YOU PAYS YOUR MONEY AND TAKES YOUR CHANCES. In some things you just have to accept that it is what it is. It won't change anytime soon that's for sure.

I will be amazed if Leicesters home leg is on this weekend. Weather looks terrible.

Sadly . I think you are correct.

Not for me at that price. It's hardly an attractive fixture. We beat them at their place by 16 points. £25/£26 for that and a junior meeting, who, I suspect half arnt interested in anyway. Plus £10 petrol.

LEICESTER Speedway can update supporters with the latest fixture picture.Stewart Dickson’s Watling JCB Lions will tackle Poole on Saturday, September 18 in the Knockout Cup Semi-Final first leg on home shale (7pm).The return fixture in Dorset has been confirmed for Wednesday, September 29 with a place in the final against Birmingham, Edinburgh, or Glasgow on the line.And in an exciting move, the club will host a feast of racing with a doubleheader on Saturday, September 25.
