  1. What happens if tonights encounter, Leicester v Scunthorpe, is called off ? Raining in the vicinity of the track at present.
  2. In fairness an ambulance is perhaps one of the last things you would expect to brake down. Presumably they are maintained on a regular basis. I guess it is just the way the cookie crumbles. I'm sure all who cannot make the Tuesday restaging will be reimbursed. I think it is helpful to realise that speedway is far from a proffesionly run sport which couldn't operate without a good number of volunteers . And doesn't have the finances associated with football etc. Basically it is a semi pro operation that is lucky to break even at the end of a season. I think to a degree when attending meetings. YOU PAYS YOUR MONEY AND TAKES YOUR CHANCES. In some things you just have to accept that it is what it is. It won't change anytime soon that's for sure.
  3. Not for me at that price. It's hardly an attractive fixture. We beat them at their place by 16 points. £25/£26 for that and a junior meeting, who, I suspect half arnt interested in anyway. Plus £10 petrol.
  4. The point I am making is why does it take 28 days to refund anyone. I understand what it says, perhaps there should be a cavitate on this here forum pointing out that any reply may contain smart arse comments.
  5. Why would it take 28 days to refund anyone? Can we not watch the stream, and make payment for it in 28 days........................ummmm thought not.
  6. KENT: Troy Batchelor, Ben Morley, Paul Starke, Cameron Heeps, Scott Nicholls, Jake Mulford, Dan Gilkes.LEICESTER: Nick Morris, Dan Thompson, Hans Andersen, Kyle Howarth, Ryan Douglas, Joe Thompson, Zaine Kennedy.
  7. you don't know it won't happen. I appreciate people support their team. But, there is supporting and arrogance
  8. There are always delays on that stretch of the M1. It's often not as bad as they would have you belive. I think you should make it. ......best of luck.
  9. LEICESTER Speedway can update supporters with the latest fixture picture.Stewart Dickson’s Watling JCB Lions will tackle Poole on Saturday, September 18 in the Knockout Cup Semi-Final first leg on home shale (7pm).The return fixture in Dorset has been confirmed for Wednesday, September 29 with a place in the final against Birmingham, Edinburgh, or Glasgow on the line. And in an exciting move, the club will host a feast of racing with a doubleheader on Saturday, September 25. They will face Kent Kings at 6 pm, featuring former Grand Prix stars Scott Nicholls and Troy Batchelor, and then a National Development League clash between the clubs will follow. This also frees up Saturday, October 9 for a new fixture at Leicester. The club will announce in week commencing September 13 the pricing structure for the doubleheader against Kent.Supporters who have purchased an online ticket for the Kent fixture on September 18 will be contacted during week commencing September 13 to ascertain whether they want to switch their ticket to the new date v Kent or use it for the Poole KOC match.Fans are reminded the next meeting at the Paul Chapman and Sons Arena, (Beaumont Park) is this Saturday against a strong Edinburgh side (7 pm).
  10. He got 9 points for Berwick on his last visit. So I'm not sure where you get your conclusion from.. including winning heat 15..With Lawson already booked to guest for Edinburgh, the only riders available with a higher GSA than Summers are NBJ and Etheridge.
  11. What are they gonna do drop Cook for Lawson? Can't see that happening, think that is the only way he would fit.
  12. They still have a preview for the British final. Think that might have happened
  13. That's great to hear. At the end of the day, that's what Speedway is all about.
  14. You gotta beat Newcastle, that would give you a real boost.
  15. Thank you......................would I need to wear a kilt to watch Think I will give it a try. Should be an interesting match, Lions aren't really firing away from home, so fingers crossed.
  16. I notice Friday's meeting will carry a stream, about £12 I think. Has anyone seen past streams on Glasgow tv? Any good, quality, etc. Might have a bash
