Where exactly are those two trophies? As far as I'm aware there is no longer a competition for them so why not recycle them and have them as the League Winners prizes in the 2 leagues.

Hopefully yes because if he gets a pick it will mean he is only banned for the off season. Therefore he actually get away almost scot free and the authorities are almost condoning drinking and turning up over the limit. If his ban finishes before the GP Challenge in 2015 maybe he could get a wild card for that, tho personally I don't think he should.

I'm not a fan of Bomber in GPs, love him in league racing, but he manages to be in the right place at he right time during the qualification process. If he makes the most of that and qualifies good luck to him. Rather that than someone being picked because his face or his sponsor fits.

Whatever they are or are not paying, you do not see sponsors of other sports repeatedly gurning in front of the TV cameras. I've never seen anyone from Red Bull gurning on the F1 grid.

No complaints about a physio being there. if however you want to start a campaign about the inanely grinning hanger on from Monster being in the pits withe the sole intention of getting his not very pretty face in pics and on T.v, I'd be 100% behind you. He does absoleutely nothing for the sport.

As others have said he wasn't as concerned about a rider who had to be stretcher end off, only a rider who got up on his own. And was walking on his own, albeit with a medic in close proximity. That to me is not the action of an unbiased neutral professional commentator.

Agree with that. No one rider is bigger than the sport. I think Pearson did, he only seemed to have one rider to fawn over last night. Even when another was lying injured on the track!!!

I cannot believe Matt Ford, who let's face it is always ahead of the game when it comes to replacing riders, didn't have a back up plan. I have no idea what was going thro the heads of Poole's management but maybe they thought, as did a more than a few on here, that Monster might be attempting to pull some strings. Given that Poole have had quite some success in this department over the years domestically they thought Darcy was home and dry. Really cannot believe otherwise, Ford is far too cute for that.

Agree this could have been done far sooner. Hopefully the potential seriousness of Ward's actions will entail a further punishment when a full hearing is held. Hopefully Matt Ford (for all I dislike his methods) has had the sense to have a replacement lined up and put in place before the transfer deadline. It's unfair to Poole and it's supporters for Ward's actions to have a detrimental effect on them.

Didn't Ford say Ward had had his last chance sometime last year. Maybe he has memory problems

Didn't realise that. Why am I increasingly thinking Ward is gonna get away with it. There's a trend here somewhere. Maybe he should be nicknamed Teflon cos nothing seems to stick.

I'm assuming the other riders tested passed. Surely if it was faulty they would have failed also. If Darcy is trying to wriggle out of this (whether under advice or not) he has gone down even further in my estimation. He can't get much lower.

I would assume the FIM have protocols and procedures for such tests. IF these were followed I can't see there being a problem. If they weren't then the officials involved should have their accreditation taken away.

Does he not ride on an Australian licence? In which case it's up to them to suspend his licence. Think that's how it works.

I'm not disputing that but they were different times. I was just pointing out what those brave lads did at the same age as Darcy. Probably shouldn't have made that comment but the sight of those planes made me very very proud and somewhat emotional.
