  1. Taken from their Facebook page Leicester Lions Speedway Team Lakeside have confirmed a revised line-up for Saturday which is as follows: 1. Hans Andersen for Kim Nilsson 2. Max Fricke for Mikkel Bech 3. Edward Kennett 4. Richard Lawson 5. Chris Harris for Andreas Jonsson 6. Richard Hall for Ashley Birks 7. Adam Ellis
  2. He rode for Coventry Storm a couple of season's ago. He also became British under 21 champion the same year. His mother is English which is why he could ride in the NL
  3. LAKESIDE: Andreas Jonsson, TBC, Edward Kennett, Richard Lawson, Piotr Swiderski, Ben Morley, Adam Ellis. SWINDON: Darcy Ward, Lewis Blackbird, Troy Batchelor, Grzegorz Zengota, Nick Morris R/R, Carl Wilkinson, Robert Branford. Swindon should definetly get something out of this. Looking at the two line ups this should be one of their easier away meetings.
  4. Harris guests in place of Kim and Fricke instead Bech. Let's hope for an injury free meeting esp as Coventry now have Hans, Harris, Sarjeant & Greenwood riding in this meeting.
  5. i didn't say anything about them helping anybody, I said their meetings could have a big say. . Swindon could pick up 4pts against them whilst Belle Vue have chance to pick up 10points. Depends a lot on how Wolves ride on the night.
  6. Wolves and Coventry could be the teams to have the biggest impact on who reaches the play offs as between the 2 teams they have Coventry 3 times & Wolves 4 times.
  7. Not unless he was guesting for the no 1
  8. Watt is unavailable to ride due to the 8 day rule as he guested on Monday
  9. Where is Eduard tomorrow? Any news on Lakeside's guests for Kim, Bech & Roynon?
  10. Good guest option for Wright. Where's Krcmar tomorrow? RR could be a risk with having to use Zengota & Blackbird.
  11. I think it's honestly still too close to call looking at the remaining fixtures. However looking at the fixtures and having to fit them all in, I think Swindon might just edge it. Swindon still have 3 home meetings against Coventry, King's Lynn & Leicester at home. Away they face Lakeside, Wolves, Belle Vue, Poole, Coventry twice and King's Lynn so a good amount of points available on the road Belle Vue still have 6 home meetings: Poole, Lakeside, Leicester,Swindon and Wolves twice at home. They only have Poole and Wolves away. I think the Belle Vue V Swindon meeting will have a big say in it. Hopefully it will be on sky.
  12. Positive signs for Kcrmar tonight who sounds like he was more of the pace. I hope Wright is ok. Lakeside must of had Swindon worried for awhile though as kept it very close for most of the meeting. After watching how well Hans scored for Coventry on Monday, I'm surprised how bad he was tonight Lawson & Starke also seemed to struggle on track.
  13. For the Bees, Stuart Robson has been ruled out of the meeting as a result of his crash at Lakeside on Monday. After visiting his doctor yesterday, Robson expects to be out for a couple of weeks but has also been advised to see a neurosurgeon as a precaution. Former Coventry rider Aaron Summers comes in to guest on Friday in an otherwise unchanged line-up. Boss Gary Havelock said: Stuart has had a few knocks to the head this season, and its absolutely the right thing for him to get a proper scan. Two things you dont take any risks with are your head and your back so we wish him well and hopefully hell be able to return soon. Aaron is in good form, he knows the track well of course and Im sure hell do the job for us.
  14. I agree. Lakesides team is now AJ, TBC, Kennett, Lawson, TBC, TBC, Ellis. If Swindon can't get points against a patched up Lakeside team then they could be in trouble at the other away tracks.
  15. @MikkelBechJ: So I been at hospital for X-rays and they told me not to ride within 9th of August. So I will not be able to ride tonight or rest of week. Big blow for Lakeside when he has found form.
  16. Unfortunately Mikkel Bech suffered a hand injury in his crash last night so Kyle Howarth guests in his place for Lakeside.
  17. Thanks. That's a shame esp when Leicester need a replacement.
  18. Wolves should be another 4points. Think King's Lynn will be a hard place for Swindon. However every chance you could get something when come to Brandon as you have riders that ride well there. However on 21st against Coventry you will be without Wright, Rose and possibly Morris so could depend on what guests you get & Kcrmar form by then.
  19. Sorry to hear that. Hope your up and on the mend soon 👍🏻
  20. Its Elite League action again at the Jordan Road Surfacing Stadium on Saturday and another intriguing contest is in prospect as the Lions and the Lakeside Hammers battle it out for the match points. The visitors will be at the end of a hectic schedule as the fixture at Leicester will be their fifth meeting in six days! With both Andreas Jonsson and Kim Nilsson racing back home in the Swedish Final, the Hammers bring in the Coventry top gun, Hans Andersen who guested for them the last time they were at Leicester in April scoring 15 points. Nilssons absence will be covered by rider replacement and they have plenty of talent to call upon to cover for him as each team member is eligible for a ride. At reserve is Richard Hall, the first captain in the new era of the Lions who replaces the injured Ashley Birks. Meanwhile, Leicester are covering for their three injured riders with Thomas Jorgensen replacing Sam Masters and they bring in two of last seasons Lion Cubs, James Sarjeant and Dan Greenwood at reserve who replace Josh Auty and Simon Lambert. Teams Leicester: 1. Jason Doyle, 2. Thomas Jorgensen, 3. Grzegorz Walasek, 4. Szymon Wozniak, 5. Piotr Swiderski, 6. James Sarjeant and 7. Dan Greenwood Lakeside: 1. Hans Andersen, 2. Mikkel Bech, 3. Edward Kennett, 4. Richard Lawson, 5. Rider Replacement for Kim Nilsson, 6. Richard Hall and 7. Adam Ellis Edited: Mikkel Bech ruled out due to hand injury. Guest to be confirmed
  21. I think he needs them 😉 Joking aside I think he could be a good guest as has done well when guesting for Swindon. Other options available for Swindon would be Nicholls, Cook, Milik or Karlsson. Lakeside is Zengota's worst away track so they are going to need the rest scoring well. Imagine Lakeside will use RR as all the riders can then take Kim's rides.
  22. Thanks Crazy Robin. Good to hear from somebody who was there 👍🏻
