Was also beating Doyle who had been riding well

Easy win for Eastbourne as unfortunately Coventry Storm have now lost Crang and both reserves to injury.

Belle Vue V King's Lynn 20 July, 2015

Belle Vue website now has the line ups. Kyle Howarth guests in place of Robert Lambert. Lewis Kerr is listed as riding -
Definitely looked like he was on a different bike for his heat win

That's what I wondered. He is near the top of the tier 2 draft in Elite league. Surely it would benefit his own personal development to ride in PL as well as EL instead as stronger & more competitive. NL is more of a development league. He's too good for it now. -
Belle Vue V King's Lynn 20 July, 2015

I really hope the weather forecast is kinder to Belle Vue for this one. 🙏 It's a shame this isn't on sky esp when it's between two potential play off teams. I think a lot depends on which Zagar,Cook and Bjerre turn up as their points will all be very important. Does anybody know if Kerr & Lambert are back for this? -
Kings Lynn Vs Belle Vue : Wed 23rd July

Will Kerr be fit for next weeks meetings? Any updates on him? I think a lot will depend on which Zagar & Bjerre turn up as both could make a big difference. Also Cook's EL form is often a lot poorer than his PL one. I think King's Lynn should be strong enough at home (but I'm hoping the rain behaves and Belle Vue can get the points on Monday) -

He easily won heat 2 and would have picked up important points over Birmingham's reserves and Wilson along the way. He was the strongest of our reserves so yes, he was a loss -

Interestingly those with me tonight that I took to their first NL meeting said it would be okay now and then for a change but how it misses the excitement and quality of the ELThat said they agreed that it's great to see Birmingham back racing regardless of which league they are in. -

That's how it should be. No one rider should think they are bigger than the team, even more so if it's a rider who's lucky to be offered a team place after a ban -
Wolverhampton Wolves Vs Poole Pirates 20/07/2015
mdmc82 replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Sadly judging by the recent display I witnessed by wolves (and with Blackbird missing) Poole could go out with a 6 man team and still get 4pts. I feel for Wells & PK as they have shown how well they can ride as 2nd strings, however they are out of their depth as heat leaders esp at no 1 -

Crowd was quite good although seemed to be more Away fans than home. I think having Coventry in both leagues does effect attendance as people choose their meetings.Good to see a lot of Birmingham fans -

Congratulations Birmingham on the win. Unlucky for Storm to lose Dwyer so early on but did well to still take it to a last heat decider. Even with it being close it wasn't one of the most entertaining meetings I've seen. Only really Ellis & Knuckey offering any real racing without coming off. The rest was mainly from the gate. Surprised in some ways that Ellis is still riding NL as there is a huge difference between the EL & NL and he is doing well in the EL. It's great to see Birmingham Brummies back racing. I hope one day we see them back in the EL -

Wolverhampton Wolves Vs Poole Pirates 20/07/2015

This will be a big away win & 4points for Poole. Wolves riders sadly look very low on confidence and the team is made up of 1 heat leader in poor form and four 2nd strings. Blackbird is signed off with back pains so major doubt for this meeting. Wolves have lost nine of their last ten meetings 34-56 -

This will definitely be Coventry's hardest home meeting of the season, shame it has to be their first. Birmingham have been the stand out team and the strongest team In the league. They have not lost a meeting yet which says it all. I think this will be a Birmingham win tonight. I just hope there are more Coventry fans attending than there was at the fours. Yes I know we have two leagues to support Coventry in put with bees not having a home fixture for a couple of weeks, hopefully more will come along.
