  1. @BBCSuffolk: BREAKING: @ipswichspeedway meet at Somerset Rebels tonight has been called off because of the weather forecast.
  2. Interview about last night at 9am on BBCCovWarksTold there was a good turn out of around 150 people.
  3. Thanks Neil. Not surprised as weather forecast is terrible for today and it's already not very nice out
  4. I thought it would have to be RR as Tungate is not Ipswich's number 1?
  5. Maybe not badly hurt but he was hurt. He has badly bruised ribs and is still struggling with an arm injury which is still causing him a lot of pain & seeing a physio. That's why he is currently struggling for Glasgow as well. Should really have taken longer out.
  6. Feel for Belle Vue that they didn't get the point. To only miss out by a couple of points at King's Lynn shows the improvement in the teams away form. I think they should be able to pick up an away win against a struggling Wolves team in a couple of weeks esp with it being a track Nicholls,Cook & Worrall all enjoy.
  7. Congratulations King's Lynn. Good guest in Adam Roynon. Sounds like NKI had a brilliant night. Gutted for Belle Vue. So close to taking something from this meeting. Bad night at the office for Nicholls & Fricke. I hope Stefan is okay after his crash
  8. Enjoying our banter 😉 Noticed new averages are already out. Magic & Gomolski are the 2 riders to improve their averages!
  9. Phew that's a relief that it's a tier 2 rider guesting for a tier 1 rider that's cost them the meeting and not Their 3 heat leaders hardly scoring and Branford out of his depth 😴Was the 21st the cut off date for the averages 😉
  10. Nothing against him as don't know him personally, however I remember people saying what a lovely person Ward was at one point.
  11. OR Poole being less than honest. Would hardly be the first time would it
  12. Oh dear. 😞 it seems like the rain has followed Belle Vue @KLStarsUpdates: Can only hope the rain has missed the track as it's currently hammering down in the town centre Fingers crossed Buster hadn't watered the track and it soon goes off. Heavy rain wasn't forecast on the ones I saw.
  13. Away points scored this season so far. Coventry 26pts Poole 22pts Belle Vue. 12pts King's Lynn 8pts Wolves. 3pts Lakeside. 1pt Swindon. 1pt Leicester. 0pts Belle Vue actually have the 3rd best away form in the league
  14. Poole's main problem wasn't the TR, they were still winning after that. It was the way they collapsed in the following heats and didn't get any heat advantages and Wolves fought back strongly. It was the 3-3, 3-3, 4-2, 5-1, 3-3 that lost it for them. Wolves coped better with the pressure.
  15. We are now 5months in to the season so I'm not convinced form is down to injury for Bjerre or Morris from last season. With no disrespect to Morris but he wasn't scoring great for Wolves last year before the accident and that was against easier reserves. He is one of the lower ranked reserves so will be a bit harder from him but can see improvement in him. There are a few tier 2 riders who have had periods where they have struggled this year. As for Bjerre, he has been like this for years now. Either double figures or nothing at all. Teams know that when they sign him.
  16. King's Lynn are strong at home so I still think they will have enough to win this. Again a lot will depend on which Zagar & Cook turn up, both inconsistent away. Bjerre should be better at home than away on Monday. Kerr is a big loss for King's Lynn, I think Morris should be able to out score Stefan though. Predict a King's Lynn win, however any points Belle Vue could take would be great.
  17. Dangerous move. Here's the link https://mobile.twitter.com/svenssonsvesse/status/623547155337318400
  18. Tomorrow should definitely be a big home win. When on form Sarjeant is great but he's not a tier 1 rider and is struggling a bit with his arm still since his crash at Poole so not 100% Josh Bates has found some good form of late and is 3rd on draft but is being replaced by a Branford who is 9th on the draft who is returning from injury.
  19. Oh dear. No Josh Bates tomorrow night so the guest is ... Robert Branford!
  20. Holder & Gomolski are both scoring very well in Sweden tonight which could be good news for Poole if they continue tomorrow.
  21. Talking of injuries, does anybody know if Zengota is okay after his crash?
  22. Coventry anyday (by the way I support bees 😜) However we have also had some off nights this season.
  23. And you question other people not reading things correctly The website says "hopefully Robert Lambert will be back from his crash" Not the same as it being confirmed that they have a full team. They are still waiting for a late fitness test.
  24. Do you really support Poole as I can't remember you finding one nice thing or word of support for them regardless of what they do. They have had a couple of off nights (show me a team that hasn't esp away) I honestly believe this will be a routine home win esp with both of Wolves reserves likely to be missing and Poole's riders out for revenge.
