  1. Well said 👍🏻 the wind was also a huge problem with sky having to use large blocks of wood to keep cameras from blowing over. As Kelvin said, Wind can effect bike control & visibility as much as rain. We had both. What some other Poole fans are missing is we aren't blaming Poole. It is Sky,GSI or who ever else forced this meeting to go a head even though it had rained heavy Sunday & rained Monday throughout the day. The track was not even checked before heat 10 so how could it be deemed safe to ride when not checked. Yet when it was finally checked only a couple of minutes after riders got fined for refusing to go out it was deemed dangerous. Surely that proved Havvy's point.
  2. Reports from Torun are that Ward wanted to dictate that he started every meeting and they told him that they choice the team, not him which he didn't like. It seems he wanted to ride more meetings and this would have put Holder's position at risk. Sounds like Ward is twisting the truth already
  3. Are Robet Lambert or Lewis Kerr likely to be back for this meeting?
  4. I think Birmingham may score more from Bates RR rides than Coventry will for Crangs RR ones. Not really any home advantage as this will be Storm's first league home meeting even though we are in July! The weather looks good for this
  5. Thanks. Do any of the Belle Vue or Lakeside riders ride for either team?
  6. @TheAces: ♣️Fixture Update♣️ the postponed Belle Vue v Lakeside meeting will be re-staged on Wednesday 29th July 8pm start. Is there Danish league on this date?
  7. Thanks Neil. Disgusting result to the appeal. They dish out silly fines instead of giving any answers as to why it was allowed to go a head.
  8. I do feel for Worrall but the reason why Belle Vue signed Josh over him is simple, because he's a better rider and more likely to score points.
  9. Holder wasn't happy, he nearly took out his team mate in a 2 man race. He even tweeted to say the meeting should never have started
  10. Belle Vue's sky meeting was called off 2 hours before it was due to be shown on sky. This was the only meeting where a 48 hour rule was mentioned but then it seemed to disappear again.
  11. A lot of Poole fans say the same about Ward don't they. You must see the point, it would be like Fergie voting on a issue between Man Utd & Man City. Hardly Independant is it
  12. Absolute sham but then no surprise with a member of Poole on the board. Sadly this will not be the last time this happens. Still no answers though to why the meeting was made to go ahead or why they wouldn't inspect the track. Terrible when riders are fined for putting their safety first and yet Redcar gain points by using an illegal RR against Somerset and no action is taken. Shocking
  13. Congratulations King's Lynn. Great to see Bjerre banging in the points. I hope Kerr is okay. Another tough night for Wolves, who have now had nine defeats in their last ten meetings. Will Adam's still think moving the riding order around makes Wolves stronger (PK would disagree) Sadly unless changes are made, this Wolves team are going to struggle to pick up home & away points for the rest of the season. PK and Wells are 2nd strings not heat leaders and that is showing in their scores.
  14. Did Swindon have torrential rain all day Sunday & Monday then as that's not what others have said? The weather forecast was always for it to clear by lunch so this meeting was never in a lot of doubt. With the Coventry one it rained heavy all day Sunday and then it rained all day Monday (other Midlands clubs had same conditioned & rained off) the wind was 45mph and forecast was dreadful. Sorry if it ruins your argument but hardly the same
  15. Gutted to hear Luke Crang is out for the rest of the season. Big blow for Coventry Storm
  16. I thought it was the Poole V Swindon on the 19th August that's televised not 29th July?
  17. There's no meeting next week. The next one being shown is Lakeside V Coventry on 27th July
  18. After watching Wolves at Brandon, I can only see a 60point home win. Adams has said he will rotate the top 3 meaning PK or wells will be at number 1 and see if that helps strengthen them!! Team changes are the only way to strengthen this team
  19. Robson & Hans are a bit of a concern at times. So far this season we are yet to have a meeting where all 7 riders are on form at the same time.
  20. I think Ward isn't the only one who over does it with the Vodka & Coke. Poole have more chance of finishing top than finishing 5th! They are already 15pts clear of Swindon & Belle Vue. They will definitely be in the top 2
  21. I thought What was said was Ward/Krcmar combo wouldn't score more than Howarth plus guest. Ward & Krcmar scored 13 between them tonight. Howarth scored 10 on his own in their last home meeting.
