  1. Exactly. Poole look just as strong at the moment. Unfortunately in speedway riders could get injured in the 2 months to go. Teams could make changes. Long way to go yet
  2. If only the decision was the same for all teams 👍🏻
  3. The enquiry meeting is Thursday 9th July. The SCB will chair the meeting.
  4. It does if you want first pick. Rules should be the same for every team
  5. Those 4points could be the difference between who finishes top of the league so wasn't really meaningless. It wasn't meaningless when it came to Horton's financial loss. Just not sure why we are told in a statement that because Horton didn't answer Saturday morning when the weather was lovely to call it off early, he was then not allowed to call it off Sunday or on Monday when the weather had been terrible all day (as experienced by the other Midlands club who called theirs off early) What happened to the rule that was suddenly announced after the 1st June but now seems to have been forgotten again? It will be interesting to see if the rule returns next week if it's raining for Swindon V Poole
  6. So what's different about this meeting? why were Belle Vue able to call it off a couple of hours before the meeting when the GSI statement says it has to be 48hours before which was the reason why Coventry were not allowed to call it off on the 1st June even though it had been terrible all day
  7. What do you mean if? It has to be called off 48hours in advance otherwise it has to go ahead regardless of the weather. Weren't they the rules?
  8. Coventry's reserve pairing for tonight are very inexperienced. Kent should have the beating of them
  9. This meeting could go either way esp if Wolves ride like they did in their home loss to Coventry last week. Could this be where Leicester get their first away points on the season?
  10. That's hardly any meetings. Sad to see the team GB manager sack the only British rider in his team, after talking about how we need to support British riders. He will have a team of Aussies
  11. Middlo said buster moaned the track was different due to sky being there as well. Implied Advantage Poole
  12. Why is this meeting being televised when so many riders missing? Were sky maybe not informed at the time that this would be the case
  13. Another injury blow for Coventry. Dwyer is still suffering with rib damage so Rye House's number 8 George Hunter guests
  14. Zengota won't be the one to go. It will be a British rider who will lose his job
  15. I'm surprised this meetings tomorrow but no thread for it esp after Belle Vue's win against Poole last week. Belle Vue are at full strength. Let's hope Zagar can ride like he did in the SGP as was very impressive. Davey Watt guests in place of Kim Nilsson and Paul Starke in place of Ashley Birks. Starke rode well when he guested for the bees a couple of weeks ago.
  16. No madness here thanks honey, although I think anybody who supports speedway with the BSPA in charge has to be a little crazy lol.
  17. Yes, that's what I said in the post you quoted (last line) 👍🏻
  18. It's only Cardiff so would be no excuse. Manages to get back from Scotland okay in the PL. If he's to be big in the sport and ride abroad then he would be travelling between UK, Poland, Sweden daily.
  19. Mentioned everytime Holder & magic were out. Even mentioned it when Coventry's asset Hancock was out. Didn't really affect the viewing though as did mention where other riders rode as well throughout the night.
  20. No broken bones. Bruising to the shoulder he previously hurt
  21. Coventry will be without Luke Crang who unfortunately is still struggling with injury. This will mean RR for him. With the new averages Knuckey now moves back in to the main team and Dwyer to reserve. For Kent the riding order stays the same. A guest is still to be announced for Adam Shepherd. Dan Greenwood currently hold the Bronze Helmet Teams in alphabetical order Kent SLYDE Kings Danny Ayres, Aaron Baseby, Jamie Couzins, Ben Morley, James Shanes, Danno Verge, TBC Coventry Storm Conor Dwyer, Dan Greenwood, Jamie Halder, Martin Knuckey, Daryll Ritchings, Rob Shuttleworth
  22. Gates were terrible and you already knew even if a top ride who had won previously was in gate 4 then they had no chance of winning. The riders that had the red gate twice had an advantage. Gate stats Gate 1: 16 wins!! Gate 2: 4 wins Gate 3: 3 wins Gate 4: 0 wins!!
  23. Confirmed sky meetings so far for July: 6th Belle Vue V Lakeside 8th Berwick v Peterborough 13th Swindon V Poole 27th Lakeside V Coventry I would imagine there will be a meeting between 13th & 27th yet
  24. This is a forum. Therefore people do have different opinions not just your opinion 😉
