  1. I do think the 6 team place offs would have been a silly idea in a 8 team league. I think the answer would be to bring back the old race format where there's no protected heats for reserves. Then if they manage to move up in to main team in that format, they should cope better. Make it 1 Brit at reserve rule or min of 2 per each team anywhere in line up. If one draft rider has to be at reserve then use EL averages
  2. Congratulations to Wolves on the win. Sounded a good meeting on the radio. Sounds like the track was good as well. Good effort by Coventry against a strong Wolves with PK at reserve & us with Bates missing. Sounds like Garrity & Harris had another good meeting. Jason is holding his own in the top 5. This was Woryna's best away track so far. Wolves has never been a track Kaspazak likes but everybody has one track that doesn't suit them. Coventry are getting abit better away (8 at Belle Vue, 10 tonight) however Sarjeant & King are always concerning once they are away from Brandon.
  3. Howarth & Clegg were at reserve against Poole. Agree though that this season it's mainly about if you are lucky or unlucky to visit a team at a certain time.
  4. We are rubbish away so not expecting anything tonight. Think even before PK signed we would have struggled. Woryna hasn't really scored much at any away track so far & the others are up and down.
  5. Didn't Poole lose by 20 at Wolves? 55-35 and that was without track expert PK at reserve and also included a TR 😉
  6. Crazy isn't it lol. I don't think Wolves 100% home record is under any threat tonight.
  7. Are you honestly comparing a 4pt Polish rider who is new to every away track and is a long way off being a EL heatleader to Karlsson who has been riding in Wolves main team for years? Agree it doesn't help British riders.
  8. Howarth has been consistent at reserve so far this season so I'm not convinced he would score a lot. PK however should have the beating of Sarjeant, Woryna & Roynon easily esp on the track he's been riding longer than they have been in the sport.
  9. Actually they can as he's our 3rd draft rider (and riding for us tomorrow). He can guest for you, although rules say not against Cov but not sign for you
  10. PK will only be at reserve for a short time. Unfortunately we have to meet them whilst he is.
  11. He could score a max and we still wouldn't get anything from this. Was going to be hard enough before with Woryna having never been there before & Bates missing but now with PK at reserve, no chance! Prediction 56-34
  12. I guess we will wait and see. Somerset's next fixtures are this Thur & Friday so of course if injured he will be sitting both out as not even a week later. Then Somerset have a break
  13. Adam Roynon guests in place of the injured Josh Bates. Karlsson returns to the Wolves team and rides at reserve! Crazy to think two of his programme races will be against 3 riders who were in the NL only a few years ago in Sarjeant, Roynon & Clegg. The rules are madness this year. WOLVERHAMPTON: Fredrik Lindgren, Kyle Howarth, Sam Masters, Jacob Thorssell, Joonas Kylmakorpi, Peter Karlsson, Max Clegg. COVENTRY: Krzysztof Kasprzak, Jason Garrity, Danny King, Kacper Woryna, Chris Harris, Adam Roynon, James Sarjeant. View Full Site
  14. I agree tonight is a bit suspicious when he has been their week link and it benefited them him not riding to night. However you have no right to judge Swindon after the way Poole behaved last year with North and using Kennett to replace him when he was scoring zeros. Maybe Tungate thought a game of golf might clear his mind instead of riding 😉
  15. Great isn't it 😂 Poor Tai only turned up for the podium
  16. I'm sure the 7pts from his RR will cheer him up 😉
  17. Deserving winners. Fogo power have been great tonight & no last place all night 👏
  18. What has happened to Davey Watt. Think he should stick to golf instead 😉⛳️
  19. With a full team then I think we would do it. With a 6pt number 1 it is going to be a big ask. However rules are rules. (I assume that's still the rule?) You however are going there will only your weakest rider missing and you have a ex Leicester rider at no 1. There would be no excuse to lose. TBH I'm still not sure how you did it last time.
  20. I thought it was 5th Aug? As for our trip to Leicester, we will most likely be going with a 6pt PL rider at no 1 as KK is in the SEC. Not good but we play by the rules 😉
  21. Looks like Leicester have got Swindon running scared after their last two defeats to them 😉 Tungate is their biggest weakness
  22. If he had been sacked though, surely his replacement would have to ride tonight or no facility?
  23. Yes he was okay to ride last night for Somerset? Judging by his recent poor scores in the main body, a guest or even RR should strengthen Swindon.
  24. Not sure the thinking behind Wozniak's guest choice. Weakens Leicester a lot. Swindon are the only team so far to lose to at Leicester (Poole drew) but looking at the line ups, Swindon would have to be very poor to lose tonight esp with riders like Doyle, Morris & Wright who have always been strong there. Good luck to the Lions but predicting 42-48 win
