  1. SHEFFIELD will be without Josh Bates tonight as he needs more time to recover from his shoulder injury. Bates is also unlikely to travel to Denmark for the World Under 21 Team Cup this weekend.
  2. England aren't on tv though on a Wednesday. Their fixtures are on a sat, Thur & Monday
  3. Taken from Sheffield site: SHEFFIELD will be without Josh Bates tonight as he needs more time to recover from his shoulder injury. Bates is also unlikely to travel to Denmark for the World Under 21 Team Cup this weekend. This must make Bates a big doubt for our trip to his former track Wolves on Monday 😕 Edit: just seen his target is to be back for British Final now on 13th 😕

  5. I would say wolves may actually be stronger with the changes. Bech hasn't been great lately and must be a worry. Depending on who is the guest it might strengthen you. One of Howarth's worse tracks has always been King's Lynn even when he was in form and you are bringing in a king's Lynn asset for him who is good there so he should do better. Agree Thorssell may be a miss depending on who can take RR but definitely not the other two. As for King's Lynn, they are the ones weakened having 3 fast draft riders in the team. Not sure why Rose is in main team?
  6. Brilliant race from AJ in heat 15. Left JK & Lindgren standing. The track has produced some good racing tonight. Well done Lakeside. Always great at home but surprised how much they struggle away.
  7. For a track which is meant to be very bad, this is the most passing I've seen at Lakeside. A good 17point paid max for Bridger who rode well but proves how silly this season is when he's at reserve. He will return to main body of team once new averages are out though.
  8. 22nd June away to King's Lynn is only one announced so far
  9. It's never been a secret that there is no love between Bridger & Kennett. They were the same when they rode for Coventry That said they still got a 5-1
  10. And yet he's one of the riders looking best on it. He didn't hold back did he, slating both Lakeside & Poole's tracks. as a spectator tbf the racing has looked better than I have seen usually at Lakeside but then I'm not the one riding it. Still looks better than the mess at Poole. Edit: Kerr is hating it.
  11. He didn't hold back did he 😉 Called the tracks a disgrace.
  12. Lindback is 31 years old. Regardless of if it was forced or consented he shouldn't be sleeping with 15 year olds. Even 16 would be too young
  13. Here's an English translation on Lindback's arrest tonight. https://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?depth=1&nv=1&rurl=translate.google.co.uk&sl=sv&tl=en&u=http://www.svt.se/sport/motorsport/vm-stjarna-gripen/&usg=ALkJrhh6513k2CMG14ldXsOyW5I-X4loKg In other news, Woffinden dislocated his shoulder tonight riding in Sweden
  14. It will be interesting to see how the British riders from Belle Vue & visiting teams do on it over the next couple of weeks before the meeting. Some riders still won't have been on it by then so could be very interesting on the night. So far of those riders in the British Final, Cook, Nicholls, Worrall brothers, Garrity, Harris & King have ridden it. Lambert & Lawson will be the only others to ride there before 13th.
  15. I love watching the desire for speedway he has. It can get frustrating when he's having bike problems a lot but when he's not he's brilliant to watch and a true racer I hope he can do well in the British final at Belle Vue. Hearing lots of positives about your track 👍🏻
  16. It hadn't really. It's because if anybody says anything negative about Freddie, a certain poster compares him to KK
  17. Horton has already confirmed that there will be no track share for Coventry with Leicester or Birmingham
  18. He's rode a third of his meetings against reserves, riding at number 4 so wouldn't say that's most. Remind me how many medals or GPs Lindgren has won. Highest he's ever finished is 8th & won 1 GP. No point just being in it if nothing to show for it 😉 As for the GP series in general as I assume that's what you mean, KK has done very well. He finished 2nd in the world in 2014 getting silver, he's won 3 GPs. Even with KK having a shocking year in the series last year, he still won 8 races like Lindgren over the series. Must have both been poor which is why neither qualified for it this year. Luckily Kaspazak is on track at the moment to be back in it next year 👍🏻
  19. The difference being Kaspazak has ridden all his meetings as a no 1 against other heatleaders whilst Freddie has rode as a 2nd string as well against reserves & 2nd strings . Ellis has had a higher average than either this season but that was achieved as a reserve. Hope this makes sense.
  20. It will be interesting to see how riders take to the track. Sounds like it's a great track for racers
  21. Here's something for Coventry & Wolves fans from recently then from euro qualifiers Kaspazak finishes 1st, Kylmakorpi 3rd and Lindgren 12th. Some impressive racing (even you might be impressed 😉)
  22. Might be good news for Wolves if Howarth isn't riding after his performance last night
  23. Steve Worrall has been in great form and showed last week how good he is on your track and was able to beat riders in the team e.g Holder, Ellis, Pedersen & Kurtz. It definitely doesn't weaken you. I think Poole would still get the win either way now Swindon are weaker at reserve again, however I don't think it will be by much, definitely wouldn't be as confident as Lisa is with her big predictions. If the tracks like last week then the Robins may surprise some.
