You must have saw different to a lot of others there then as updates says he rode very well to beat Nicholls, Cook, Worrall & Jacobs. A lot of praise for him on Twitter. -

It's been a entertaining weekend of close meetings with good racing between these two teams. They have been very closely matched on track. Credit to Coventry & Belle Vue 👍🏻 It shows it can be done without off track politics ruining it. -

They did well to keep it that close against a strong team, esp when no Bates and with Harris struggling. Must have been hard for Woryna esp with minute silence before with everything that's sadly happened. A much better fightback from the bees away, I just wish they could do it for a whole meeting. -

Shame this wasn't today's televised meeting. Great to hear so many positives amount a meeting 👍🏻 Sounds like another good meeting for Garrity in main body of team. Good news ahead of the British final -

Congratulations to Belle Vue on the win 👍🏻 Shame we didn't take a point in the end but 8point loss could have been worse esp when missing Bates & with Harris having a poor meeting. Might stand more chance next time. This bees team don't look great on the road but at least they fought back in the 2nd half Good to here lots of positives about the stadium and racing. -

Belle Vue Twitter saying meeting is delayed by 15mins but fans are saying there is still large crowds queuing to get in. Although posts on Twitter thinking it will be later than that as the ticket system takes too long and causing massive hold ups. I guess it's still trial and error at the moment -
Thanks. So if Sarjeant had signed before 1st June he would fit as his PL average is 4.41 (goes to 4.58 after) although no time really now. Lewis Rose would have possibly fit.

Monday May 30, 2016 JAMIE Halder's injury from Mildenhall yesterday has been confirmed as a fracture to his arm. The break is to the radius bone at the elbow. His wrist is not broken as originally thought, but it was the force of landing on the wrist which caused the break. Jamie is likely to be facing around four weeks out of action, and we wish him well for his recovery. An update on Martin Knuckey, who was due for surgery to his broken leg on Monday, will be provided as soon as we can. Meanwhile there is better news on Liam Carr, who came through a practice session on Saturday after his recent scaphoid injury, and he now expects to make a racing comeback for Berwick this weekend. Thanks. What is the average limit then for a PL rider to ride NL? 👍🏻

Bates is due back from injury next week. How did he ride for Birmingham last year? Spiller would be a very good option

Tough one to call. Swindon no longer have Tungate or Justin at reserve but Wright has been riding well. Poole have been poor on the road so far and have already failed to win against Coventry, Wolves, Leicester & Lakeside. Swindon have started the season strongly at home. I agree that on paper Poole should be winning these meetings but currently Swindon look more solid as a team on track. Predict a home win by 8 I'm surprised this isn't the sky meeting

Looking at the race by race line up, I can only see a Belle Vue win. When Swindon won there, Max was missing and the Aces hadn't had much race time. I think we will struggle at reserve & with Ashley in the top 5. Not sure what mind frame Kacper will be in. Prediction 56-34 -
With Knuckey, Carr and Halder now sadly all out for a while with broken bones, will Coventry look at bringing in riders to replace them for the foreseeable future or use guests for the next 4-6 weeks? Are Sarjeant, Stefan or Bates averages too high to ride NL?

Didn't he mean he didn't want to ride every home meeting on sat? Twice a year is fine -

How was it a meaningless friendly? Belle Vue would have been looking to get to top 4 and Coventry fans realise the importance of all our meetings now that we are close to losing our stadium. If it was just a "meaningless friendly" as you put it, then that would be even more impressive that there was such a large crowd. I take it Poole V Belle Vue was meaningless on Monday as well then. On a serious note though, it is worrying when your attendances at Poole are so low when you have been doing well. MTV crashers is a music concert at the Ricoh with some big music acts at it.

It would be understandable if Woryna didn't ride after this weekends sad news. If we use Roynon as a guest then Kacper wouldn't be at reserve. It's going to be tough for bees without having ever ridden the track and also using a lower tier 2 Draft rider to replace Bates in the main body of the team. Whilst Belle Vue have only had one home meeting, they have been practicing regularly on the new track and have an idea of the shape and set up. They have had a lot more track time now. This Coventry team have improved at home but they don't travel well so can only see a convincing home win. Let's hope for a safe meeting for both teams. -
Tut tut SB 😜 Poor lad. I quite like him. Yes he's not a stand out rider with passes like Harris or Lambert but I have seen some good races from him and I'm sure Glasgow fans would agree as he seems to be doing really well there. He was good at Bombers testimonial. He's a good gater which I think is the reason he doesn't stand out. It's also easy to compare him to his brother who is more of a racer. I have seen much more boring riders. Bjarne Pedersen being the worst of all 😉 Davey Watt & Hancock never fill me with excitement either. Bjerre is another. Although that said Bridger & Swiderski have been the most boring riders I have seen at Brandon so far this year.

Official Buildbase Coventry Speedway Website Home Latest News Fixtures/Statistics Club Admission Riders Corporate Fans History Gallery MILDENHALL v STORM, PREVIEW Friday May 27, 2016 COVENTRY Storm are back in action on Sunday as they visit Mildenhall in the Travel Plus National League (3.30pm). The trip to West Row is one of the most popular of the season for supporters, and it is a venue where the City Gearboxes Storm have enjoyed some degree of success in recent years, with an away win in 2014 and other competitive displays ending with league points gained. But they will still be without broken scaphoid victim Liam Carr, with the rider-replacement facility in operation, although Jamie Halder returns to the team at reserve after school exams caused him to miss the matches at Kent and Cradley. The home side have experienced mixed fortunes early this season with injuries also having affected them but they are almost back at full strength for the fixture, missing only Luke Ruddick at reserve. Jon Armstrong and Dan Halsey form a powerful spearhead on paper but in fact they have been upstaged so far by youngster Connor Mountain, who takes over the No.1 spot for the Fen Tigers. Storm boss Laurence Rogers said: We know the likes of Jon and Dan are experts around there, but weve got to work on the ones we can get points off, as we did at Cradley. Its good to have Jamie back after his exams but weve still got to use rider-replacement, which well keep at No.3 because I feel it worked there on Monday. Its another tough match, but getting something out of it is very do-able for us.
