Glasgow V Edinburgh ,wednesday 29/6/16, Sky Sports 7.30pm

I'm hoping this meeting is going to be better than the Berwick V Workington one is so far -
Is the racing always this bad at Berwick. This meeting is almost as poor as England's defense (almost) There are a lot of PL fans on here who are always telling us how great the racing is in the PL, however I have yet to see any evidence of that. This is the first really bad meeting this season so far on sky. The EL ones have been very good.

Leicester V Coventry Mon 27th June

Well done Leicester. Disappointed not to get the win but I guess it was a good point after losing Garrity to injury after already having no Bates. How did Wikinson have 4 rides? Another great meeting for Kaspazak. Sarjeant must be a big concern though. Why couldn't we have met Leicester when they still had Watt lol. Lindgren was brilliant tonight & a great signing for the Lions. Lions reserves 20, Coventry reserves 10 I hope Garrity is okay 🙏🏼 -
He was only a heat leader for one week before his average dropped and he returned to reserve.

I think it's great if it encourages teams to use more Brits. In the EL teams, this is how many Brits are named in their top 5 Coventry 3 Belle Vue 3 Lakeside. 3 King's Lynn 1 Leicester 0 Poole 0 Swindon 0 Wolverhampton 0 -
Can't really compare the two now as Garrity has shown good form in the top 5 and has progressed a lot more. He's maintained his average which is good to see & beat riders like Doyle, JK, Cook, Nicholls & Andersen Newman is still more of a reserve than a main team rider and I think he still is a little while off holding his own in the top 5.

I'm sure if he wanted to ride for Poole then he would have. He seems very happy at Coventry which is good to hear. He has a lot of potential once he gets used to the tracks, however sadly we may not have a team for him to ride in next year 😕 -

I think Coventry look stronger in the heatleader position but with Bates missing & this being Woryna's first visit, Leicester look much stronger at reserve. I think they have the best reserves in the league. I'm hoping for at least a point but Swindon & Poole have both come away without a win and that was before Watt was sacked so think this is going to be tougher than people might think -

Coventry Storm V Birmingham - Sunday 26th June - 4pm
mdmc82 replied to NeilWatson's topic in National League Speedway
The reason myself and my family haven't been to many storm meetings this year is because it's a very unexciting team with the exception of Knuckey. The crowds were good in 2014 as we had up and coming riders including a member of the main team in Sarjeant. This kept bees fans interested and the strength of the team attracted fans. -

It said Wilkinson in the preview but Stefan in the team line ups. It's now been changed again so it only reads Carl Wilkinson. -

The Coventry website have both Stefan Nielson & Carl Wilkinson named as guest for Josh Bates which is confusing -

Shocking result but not surprising. The Coventry Storm team looked week at the start of the season but now with no Knuckey it looks dreadful. This is the first year I have hardly attended the NL meetings. -

And if he is still struggling at the practice then I'm sure Rosco will leave him out of the team. He stil has time to decide -
He hadn't rode in Poland much this season so wouldn't worry too much. It's what he does here that matters
-
He said no team announced till after the practice so I assume that means in the day.
-
Rosco has confirmed that his team choice will be made after the practice session on the day so I guess it will come down to form on the day and how they ride the track in that.

Harris has scored double figures in a lot of league meetings this season as a heatleader and has the highest EL average of any Brit mentioned. -

Wow thinks must be desperate if you would want Watt as a guest 😂😂000 -
Harris has had good scores for Coventry in the EL most of the season. The British Final & Lakeside meetings he tried a new engine that unfortunately didn't work. This scores for Cov (H) 9, 13, 10, 15, 8, 8, 5, 13 (A) 13, 14, 7, 5, 10, 4, 5, 13, 10 Including a paid max at home to Leicester

Neither would Cook though as we saw when he was in a GP last year. I'm not convinced that at the moment Lambert or Nicholls would either -
Based on league form, being the highest average British EL rider, Experience & ability to cope under pressure.
-
I don't envy Rosco, however it's nice to actually have riders good enough to pick from instead of just making up the numbers
