  1. Instead of playing the blame game, why doesn't whoever has the fans money (belle Vue I imagine) let them know how they can get a refund! Disgusting that there is still no statement on that
  2. It was stated by Belle Vue that the meeting was a sell out, however articles state around 5000 were in attendance. I thought it was meant to hold a larger amount esp with world cup being staged there? How many can the stadium hold?
  3. What would be the point in signing a number 9 otherwise? I guess it will become clearer once the season starts
  4. A lot of talk at Brandon today about the SCB doing an investigation in to what happened and the track not being in use for 4 weeks whilst they start again relaying it. Big blow for Belle Vue if true.
  5. They have declared Lambert as their 3rd reserve so they have to use him where available. Then I would imagine it would be a rider off the draft with same average or below if Lambert has a fixture clash.
  6. Poole are a stronger side than Leicester. Garrity also had bike problems after the practice and had to use Bates bike in heat 1.
  7. Why wouldn't he get a heat 15? He did yesterday against Leicester. He was able to beat their whole team, including their heatleaders and that was riding at a tougher position.
  8. I really hope Belle Vue can get the track sorted soon. The stadium looks brilliant in photos and they have a good team.
  9. Auty rode at reserve for Leicester, not number 1
  10. Really hope they make a better job of the World Cup 😕
  11. Riders safety should come first. Nobody wants to see anybody injured. Harris says the track was rideable but not raceable but he will give most things a try. Why should fans pay out to watch riders just try and make it round 4 laps. I feel sorry for the fans who made the trip. Sitting there in the cold without any updates. Shambles and sad to see
  12. Garrity looks like he may have got his bikes sorted. Riding as a heatleader at no 5 against Leicester at the moment and beat their number 3, 5 and just won the TR over Leicester's number 1 &2. Scored 14pts riding at no 5 in the EL format 👍🏻
  13. Something I hope is changed fast is the person in charge of the music. Playing "My heart will go on" by Celine Dion & "Wannabe" by spice girls. 👎🏻🙉
  14. With all the hype about this Poole team, I would have expected them to easily beat us at home. Yes you had no Holder but we had 2 riders with bike problems all night and we aren't the strongest competition they will have on paper. Tbh Poole weren't what I thought they would be. I can not see them going all season unbeaten that's for sure. Think Belle Vue & possibly Swindon will give them a run for their money.
  15. After watching the bees last night (and freezing it was that cold) I actually feel a bit more positive about the team than I did this time yesterday. KASPAZAK was brilliant to watch and rode better in one meeting than our so called no 1 of last couple of years did all season. Really hoping we can see that from him consistently. Looked confident and that was riding through the pain barrier. HARRIS was great to watch as always. In heat 10 he could have gone off 15m and would have still beat them with ease. KING had a shocker. He looked under power all night as could see he was trying but had no speed. Whilst he isn't a heatleader, at home he is capable of much more than that. KACPER fought hard for his points and looks like he could be a good racer once he gets used to the track. Some promising signs esp as only his first home meeting. I agree it would have been better if he had more support in the top 5 GARRITY started off really well in heat 1 beating Buzz & Kurtz but was on his teammates equipment in heat 1. Heard he was having problems with his bikes which he needs to get sorted. BATES surprised me. I've never been a fan of his but last night he was very fast. He would have won both reserve races had he not tried to team ride Sarjeant in heat 12. SARJEANT is my main concern. He looks to have no power and easily beaten. That said he still was able to beat Newman & Ellis. I thought the track rode well esp when it was freezing cold and raining from heat 4.
  16. King & Sarjeant were born terrible last night at Brandon. King looked to have no power. Hoping they can both sort it soon
  17. Confused? He was only excluded in one and i think Kurtz helped him go down there. I take it you weren't there. As for Violins, you stated Newman scored more. He should as only against other reserves. Garrity beat your number 5 & 2 Reserve of the night for me was Bates who looked super fast & would have won heat 12 if he had not stopped to team ride Sarjeant. Rider of the night for me though was Kaspazak. Promising signs from our new signing as well on his first home meeting. As for Starmans conflicting statements about the track, 😂😂😂😂 How would he know sat at home. His own rider Brady said he was a fan of the Coventry track tonight, yet I remember him not being as complimentary about your own at P & P
  18. Garrity has harder races as riding in main team. Garrity beat Pooles no 5 Buzz & Kurtz tonight whilst Newman only beat the bees reserves (who also beat him) and Garrity in one race.
  19. Unfortunately no track is great this time of year when it's freezing cold and at times frosty. Didn't Kurtz & Ellis comment on your own track being poor
  20. They should be ok with RR as others ride Brandon well. Holder is always very hit and miss.
  21. Drizzling at the moment but no rain forecast so hopefully it won't amount to much. Need to wrap up warm. Prediction 38-52
  22. Doyle & Morris seemed disappointed when they were told a couple of weeks ago they had to ride in this meeting instead of elsewhere. Not convinced a gun needed to be held to Nick's head.
  23. I think he will then struggle like he sometimes does for Plymouth against stronger riders and will return to reserve. I think he is a good rider but can never see him doing well in a British Final or becoming a heat leader in the EL. I think he is what he is now, a good reserve rider
