I went Macca and i was really confident Lee would go close he had whipped Carter in the helmet and for about a month things were going great for him?We got to Norden at about 6 in the morning it was p....g down we all thought it has to be off Muller on the day was superb i still think Billy Sanders could of been more tougher on him in there race a great day out though. Only your opinion which you find hard to separate from FACT my take on it for me Gollob his BEST EVER was better than Pedersen/Hancock.He did things on a motorcycle that not many could do beat a peak Rickardsson in 2002 a great meeting in Bydgoszcz and if i am honest Gollob underachieved bigtime often the pressure got to him.It would be great to know from Norbold,Gustix, iris/ Custom (ect) how they define greatness? Roll of Honour Longevity whatever but Gollob at his BEST was every bit as good as Pedersen/Hancock.

How is that? do you just go on the amount of titles won? Jerzy won it in 1973 was he a better rider than Leigh Adams and Vic Duggan a couple of examples for you.!

Agree see him ride for Buxton a real racer also when he won the Conference Final at Rye House still he scored four decent points and this was a very good away win.

Really enjoyed tonight a decent team performance by the Budgies Kings Lynn were disappointing.Iversen got his act together in the end a great win over Ward and Morris and Porsing rode with credit.A mention for Darryl Ritchings i thought he did well ok he didnt score i thought he would really be off the pace but he gated in heat two and in his third ride pushed hard for four laps.After his horrendous injuries after the crash with Garrity he has done great to ride again i hope the lad is not to disheartened it was great to have a local lad in the team again.

Was a bit of banter from me about Mauger but by god he was good it is easier to remember who beat him because they're were not many.

Grand Central did you go or remember Bob Paulson beating Ivan in heat 1 at Hyde Rd?a real shock as Ivan at that time hardly dropped a point.

No a great post Central and discussing things like this beats squabbling with some on here.I think from the mid sixties Barry had the upper hand then Ivan from 68 got on top a bit but i have noticed in my collection Briggo certainly beat Ivan quite a bit in individual events.Dont get me wrong Central i loved watching Ivan ride when other riders were turning up in scruffy cars with a bike on the back Ivan turned up in a immaculate van he certainly took speedway to another level professionally.And he had to sacrifice alot and work damn hard to get where he did Ivan, Briggo,Ole are in my top ten top ever sport stars.What i remember most about Ivan was how decent he was with the fans, never refused autographs and lets not forget he was not that popular at Swindon was booed alot but he took it in his stride.So Central you believe Ivan was better than Briggo around Hyde Rd? you have a great case and you could well be right.I have all of the six Briggo 6 BLRC programmes wins my uncle went i never did but enjoyed going to Hyde Rd from 73 onwards a great racetrack the best.

You could well be right and the bloke was total class, but Central said he believed Mauger was a better rider at the great Hyde Rd than Briggo.I don't agree with that Hyde Rd suited Briggo down to the ground as the track suited his race style.Also around Belle Vue you have to put Craven, Olsen,Collins,Carter as greats around that great track.

Briggo was unlucky in 72 could of had five titles but i think to say Ivan was better than Barry at the zoo is stretching it a bit .Even in league meeting's Barry usually beat him up until 1972 and i would have a guess on my records head to head it was close but Barry beat Ivan more times including everything second halves ect).

I see him at Swindon ok he was rough and i remember him well rode with Holloway at 5/4 on the same team.But he did not make premeditated moves like Pedersen has,and he Pedersen has done it for years and has got away with murder.

It is so interesting if those three ride i don't care who wins it as i like all three of them.Tai for me would have to raise his game,as these two are real contenders can he? of course he can who knows might push him even further.

Tai and his team have it cracked,total trust in each other having Adams helping is a massive bonus to he has great engines also he seems alot more happier with a lighter racing schedule.Darcy needs to get that the complete package but he will, when i have seen him race he is focused he also has a great team i would love it if maybe Jason Crump could help him what a coup that would be

He has made one mistake and to be honest you would not find a better person to represent speedway than Greg.I have never been a fan but i have always respected him a great rider and he has time for the fans to.Dont you think that Pedersen just drove him over the edge? and say what you want Greg was fenced by Nicki.And even since that incident Pedersen has been involved in other incidents,Greg was wrong totally and should of got a longer ban but i can understand why he did it.Maybe some Cradley fans who know Greg can tell us what he like that he is a decent bloke and has been since the late 80s he just made one mistake.

I think he is certainly, just needs a league or to abroad which won't be easy to make a living and progress i don't see how another PL season would bring him on.
