Surely that is why if the weather is iffy make a swift decision and postpone. Good point and i totally agree as i don't want to see follow the leader,but some call offs are because some of the riders have commitments elsewhere within the next few days.

I can remember Briggo commentating on the 82 final,and he said he had a similar incident with Ove that Penhall had with Carter.But sport was brutal and sometimes things go for you sometimes it does not.

Your opinion is one that i respect immensely and you would no more about the history of the Briggs Fundin rivalry than anyone that's for another day.My uncle who first took me was not a fan of Ove,and loved Briggo so that is why i have a huge bias.Going back to Pedersen i like watching him he has worked damn hard for what he has achieved and i admire what he has achieved.But for me some of the incidents could of been avoided,the Hancock incident as an ex) Greg had gone wide and Pedersen would of passed him fairly anyway.You are right Norbold over the years there have been some real tough riders forceful but mostly there passes were fair.The other night there was a great ex) Kurtz who come steaming under Wolbert was that fair? was he out of control sometimes there is a fine line.

Briggo was the better rider generally they were hard Norbold but surely not as crude.

Why should they except him for what he is?

Has Pedersen really been punished? over the years i think not he is doing now what he was doing ten years ago a dirty rider who will push riders to the limits.I can remember seeing Adams v Crump at the Abbey 2.1 to Leigh total trust no fencing real close bends close racing no dirty riding for me that is what it is about. I would say he has been involved in at least 15 major decisions over a long period (ie riders brought off.) Coincidence i doubt it he won't change ok Hancock made one mistake but i can understand why he reacted like he did that was years of frustration.Arson you must be Stevie W in disguise Pedersen over the years is the dirtiest rider ever and that is FACT go on U tube and most of them are on there.

Ward is a CHARACTER but some on here kill him off Pedersen has been given endless chances far to many over the years.

You could be right Arson i usually like the bad guys (ie) Tyson, McEnroe followed there careers supported both.Gutted when McEnroe lost to Lendl in the French when two sets up Tyson after prison was not the same his heart not in it just there for the money.

It was not the best but i have seen worst certainly at EL level, tonight was boring because Edinburgh were superb tonight.

This GP series is not the best, so i feel it needs Ward, Emil, Laguta, Pawlicki (Jnr) .Ok the old world finals were not always the best , but this GP series SHOULD be the best but it is not and the Euro championships line up is on par.

I think you forget that Olsen was very well organised, also you have to say Michanek,Collins,Lee,would of been mighty stiff opposition.Also in Mauger's six title wins was he fortunate? in 72, 77 i see what you are saying GC but after 1973 was Ivan dominating speedway i think not his time was the late 60s.

I actually think Ivan,s best years were from 68/73 after that i think he was more of a be on the rostrum man.He was a great rider but this notion of him winning more than six titles in a GP format i can't see it it was a tough era.

Collins was hurting he was nowhere fit that's why I say Mauger was not the certainty to win a GP series in the 70s up until 79 1973 i think Ivan would of won it the rest of the years he had some real tough opposition.Michanek ,Ole,Collins,Lee, .

. This meeting shows Olsen at his best the race with Collins was superb, (on 15mins) i believe he could of won a GP series if it was about in this year.

What i meant Witcher was a rider who deserved to be in but was never ever going to win it so in a way the series needs freshening up.Woffinden it was great that he was aloud in it,was that because he was British? also alot on here did not agree with the decision as i remember.As it stands at the moment the series is fairer than the old system for a few, but the series does not have all the best riders in the world in it at this present time and if anything i prefer the Euro line ups more.
