  1. No Emil no Laguta, no Ward are you SERIOUS?those three riders are in the top ten riders in the world! Yes or No.?
  2. Rubbish!Lambert might go on and fail,i personally think he has every chance of doing very well indeed Risager was decent but please Risager is a poor example SCB.
  3. Total rubbish, please Enlighten me?Do you like speedway?.?
  4. Hopefully he will Salty, Ward,Emil , Laguta are in the top ten riders in the world and this GP series is not the best it should be!!! the best riders are not riding in the GP series.
  5. Both blokes are great people, Crump was an awesome rider a real quiet but really nice humane guy, Bob i met through Malc Holloway was really decent and he knew alot about speedway more than 99 per cent of us.
  6. I think alot of fans on here like myself Knew he had to be punished, i actually think he has got off lightly. But? how long did it take to make a decision?a total joke to be honest.A few people on here want to knock Ward whatever for me the sentence he has got puts the Vees up to people and MOVE on except it and hopefully enjoy when he rides speedway.
  7. This happens in any walk of sport, try to keep people sweet when it is your livelihood nothing new in that. Also this forum does not portray the overall feeling about Ward he is still popular and when he can ride again he will put bums on seats (ie) because he is a great rider.
  8. What about big Arthur and the feared Steve Gresham a good rider though!
  9. Hackney was one of my favourite tracks i ever went to,under Silver Friday at eight was a decent night out.Death trap has been mentioned but surely Exeter was as dangerous? all tracks were dangerous. And alot of the tracks that were run were old fashioned stadiums that were run down even Wimbledon looked dangerous Exeter was the scariest track i ever went to.A very fast track exciting and i enjoyed my every visit, as i did at the great Shay again that was a very fast circuit.
  10. I think he will,if he is strong knuckles down he will be a force for as long as he wants to be.Saying that the era now is very strong and i was totally wrong about that, not to worry we can all be wrong.!! In Ward's era i would say Emil, Hancock, Tai, Iversen,Pedersen, Laguta,Holder, and maybe Pawlicki are my stand out riders and a couple of those are not in the Gps anyway so he can still make up for lost time.
  11. Are you telling me IF? you are a speedway fan are you not looking forward to Ward riding i am!
  12. Batchelor i think could surprise he has a great shout to be in the 6/8 he has learned alot we will see.,,
  13. Darcy will be back in July and to be honest it could of been worst, but the decision to have taken that long what a DISGRACE.!!!.Even people who are not fans of Ward's know that this whole episode has been handled badly.I HOPE he comes back and shows us what a great talent he is World Champion class certainly.Keep out of trouble do what you do best ride speedway my overall hope that Darcy proves his worth a he is a great rider down to him now any more slip ups now could be terminal.
  14. Laguta is a class act in my opinion, i wondered what most thought on the forum?where would he come if he was in the series?.I think top eight minimum and is capable of getting in the three a real talent i believe.
  15. I have seen it from the late 60s have you? Sam also knows his era's longer than me ? i dont know and is making you look a mug.A simple question i have asked you maybe three times? were Nielsen/GundersenLegends? Border lining on the top 20 ever Yes or NO?a simple question!!!!!
  16. Did you ever see em saddo? a big No so shut up i won't react to your crap but as i have said before endless people have told me who you are and what a total P... you are so have a think eh!
  17. Did i say that please about 81,i did not but they were more than as you say just PROMISING back down my memory i think is better than yours. Nielsen/ Gundersen were more more than just PROMISING riders in 81,not that you watched Speedway that much then?.Simple question even for you were Nielsen/gpGundersen greats yes or no ? a simple question even for you as Lucifer said you are tying yourself in knots the two riders YOU brought up you are making yourself look foolish.Admit defeat you are talking crap about Nielsen/Gundersen did you ever see them at there PEAK.?
  18. Ask Norbold? Penhall was a great rider and how many titles could he have won? but I believe as one time winners Lee/Collins were on a par Lee had a decent record with Penhall head to head.Pedersen for me is not in the greats department i know he won three titles ( dirty sod got away with murder a rider bully in my opinion) Adams and Sigalos were better riders than him.But in his era he is behind Rickardsson,Crump,Hancock and Gollob all were better riders but the level is VERY high is today? Without Emil, Laguta, Ward the level is not great Johansson being an example. Forget your figures mumbo jumbo crap how good was NIelsen/Gundersen? In your opinion please tell me! I said that i was there Gundersen broke the track record, i agree the level was higher than today easily but don't mention the word fact ? to Witcher we both say that it is only our low opinion.!!
  19. Top 20 of all time ?Mauger,Briggs,Milne,Duggan,Young,Craven,Moore,Wilkinson,Farndon,Fundin,Rickardsson,Gollob,Crump,Hancock,Olsen,Lee,Collins,Nielsen,Gundersen, Knuttson.
  20. Forgetting Witchers points and he puts them across well , would you have Nielsen/Gundersen/Collins/Lee in a top 20 riders of all time ?i would have no hesitation in saying yes.
  21. Hump i cannot believe this post from Witcher in a way damning Gundersen as a rider a six pointer really?. Gundersen over a period had Nielsen's number beating him endless times in important races but to even question Gundersen/Nielsen as not being great riders is puzzling maybe i was wrong on how good both were.
  22. The thirteen heat format that was in then, often had riders like Lee,Coilins,Sanders who would be at number five.I never even thought about what number they were at simple facts were they were all great riders.Collins and Lee were amongst the best of there generation,Collins at times i never really took much notice how many he scored it was how he did it.If there was stats i would imagine Collins passed alot of riders from the back and often on slick tracks a true racer.I just don't see your point, you odviously don't rate those two riders as highly as i do it would be interesting to see what people think who saw these two regular.I know GW at Lynn saw all of Lee's career and there are a few on here who were regular Hyde Rd visitors and saw alot of PC's.
  23. You talk some drivel sad man bitter and twisted, move on dont speak to me bore the ass off some other poor victim.!
