Weird really Bagpuss i loved all the Brits Ashby,Wilson( both) Louis SImmo, Mort, pc , Lee,Carter Wigg, Tatum, Evitts But alot of my favourites were foreign riders on the whole more so than the Brits Henka took over from Bettsey and Mike what a talent he was.

And PC to! both great racers gating is it a natural thing i believe so.

Top post Vince, is Kelly the prime example i know he still did well mega well talent alone did that a great record great bloke talent well mind blowing at times.It is not just the English guys,loads of foreign talent fall by the wayside.

Two great prospects and everything crossed that they both have good careers.Just hope neither override and treat it as another meeting off the subject how good has Charles Wright been terrific surely he will get another PL chance.

Not obsessed with Auty a supporter yes and all Brits in general but you need to get your facts right how many full EL seasons has Auty had?do your research first.Woffinden was not exposed in the GPS he was just not set up right team wise at that time was PUK the same look where he is now.Woffinden has always had class you would have to be Stevie Wonder not to realise that.My gripe with your OPINION( which you are entitled to)is that you seem to take a swipe at the English lads and also at times not very complimentary about the PL let's face it the EL is going nowhere fast.

Great point i believe Prague would of suited Cook better than Kings Lynn,also Cook will not gate as badly again that being his main weapon.

Ok WItcher some good points in there but you ask Tai until the last year or so has he been that dedicated.?He is where he is now because he is a class act even at only 60 per cent the guy would cruise through.Again as usual you didn't answer the question do you know the likes of the D/u riders Cook,Worrall,Auty,Barker,?can you tell me if they have ambition? or lack it?do you know they're individual circumstances.As we all know to come through our system now is very difficult look at the Lambert situation we are light years behind the Poles ,Danes, and other nations.A young lad now even if dedicated can he practice 7 days a week here? NO not like some of the other nations turn up and get track time.Your take on it indicates that all Brits are lazy have it easy ( comfort zone you said) which is untrue for me some have had it harder because of the system we have in place.England are a now spent force at World level not because our riders are lazy and not dedicated the reality is we are not good anough.Our leagues and set up for me has failed the Brits not anough get chances we have seen when the likes of Kerr get a chance they can compete.

From under 15s to conference now a top 10 PL rider and doing well anough in the EL.Not everybody progresses at the same rate not saying he ever will how many predicted Doyle would be where he is now not many on here did.Also to do what Cook has done this year average over 11 is no mean feat in a competetive PL.Craig just needs laps he will come back stronger the funny thing is by dropping Craig now might be more longterm damaging for him than scoring 0 and on the night being totally inept.

You have to be given a chance first! ok in the prem i can except,not div 1 and 2.I have seen a bit of lower tier football and there are alot of average imports who are no better than our talent (more exspensive) though.! Crewe are the only club i know who have had the balls to give our youth a chance and they have not done bad selling the likes of Powell,Murphy and in the future Clayton the fees have kept that club in a stable position.

Well i respect your opinion Brum as always, but Worrall has done well ( more so after a broken leg) but will his EL average be much better than Auty? Who knows did Auty beat Worrall twice the other night ( from the back)! Howarth i like and was treated shabbily at Poole but he is not up to the level of those two yet.

Again for me the situation should of been explained to Craig before the meeting,was it i dont know.?That if he did poorly that he could make way and not to take it as a slur.A strange decision for me though,i would of stuck with him what has Bridger done to deserve a chance. Done ok in Europe and i may be wrong but i think his highest away score is 9( at Eastie) in the EL most of his scoring has been at the massive homer track in Lakeside.If Lewis does well great as i want GB to do well i hope Cooky comes back a lot stronger as i think he will no doubt.

I have said all along i like Cook but have not been convinced with him out in the dirt.Ok he has been superior to Barker and Auty in the PL but tonight Barker and Auty would of mixed it in the dirt.At Cardiff Cook looked out of his depth tonight again he struggled saying that i would still stick with him maybe put Barker in for Kennett KIng no i would not he has had chances.

Way over the top, we all could see that he tried that's good anough for me not good anough tonight i know.

Birks i have seen a bit of at Swindon improving rapidly a good starter.On Thursday i was on the second bend was riding real close to the fence is now getting used to the Abbey has a real bright future Auty is Mr entertainment how many make passes like him? just wish he could gate better.

To score 46 and lose is a tad harsh was Auty in fourth place at one time?

It was great to the see the piece from Rob in the star, and his thoughts and how he feels the fans have to be listened to.Carried on from what Phil said,Rob says that we all have to come together and try and move the sport forward great really as Rob is after all a fan as well.He mentioned the black and white helmet issue as an EX it would be great to know what the fans want. It cannot all be done of course, it will be interesting if Rob can get some positive feedback from this article.Some praise also to Rob who has created a great product at Scunny,and surely a big event is due there at some stage the track outstanding what about the British Final in the future.?
