No doubt a drop in crowds but after a while Swindon Fans soon got used to Thursday and crowds in speedway terms were quite good intill Leigh Adams quit

zzz ...there are more riders than there are fans ....i expect the riders know the crowd by name ....the racing is unprectictable as riders fall off all the time ....most matches don't make it it end as the curfew ends them as there is so many re runs .

Even for you it's quite simple ...all the El teams are confirmed runners and will take part unlike the runners in the derby or the GN at the moment ...the bottom line is you missed out kl by mistake ..just admit it move on rather than making a fool of yourself .

Every team has ridden on a Monday at home with no problem at all ..what team in the el and when has a team been stopped riding on a certain night by there local authority ? As for your first point no team is going to need to change there race night to when there stadium is used by someone else , Sure but as the standard has dropped so have the crowds .

Thou I take your points in, the fact is that Hearn took these Sports that were dead and has made them great ...sure these sports were low cost but the fact is they were never doing very well ...I am sure if Hearn had control of speedway thou it be hard he would make it 100 % better ..he has a knack of keeping things simple and giving the public what they want .

The crowds have fallen with the drop in standard ...what I guess what we all agree with is whatever they do expect them to make a total hash of it .

The reason is simple teams will turn up with there full side rather half the side missing ... Eastie and Leics had speedway on sat night but if teams up full of weak guests and rr the fans won't turn up .... Sweden have speedway on a Tuesday and it's not a problem at all ...once you change a race night people soon get used to it ..I remember at Swindon when they lost sat nights and how it would be the end of the world ....but after a couple of seasons people soon got there heads around it and it was soon forgotten .

So what happens if number 8 ave does not take the team under the limit ? hardly simple ...just another rule than muddies the water and is open to cheating .

Bad signing but at this stage i guess we had little choice .takes us from a good side that was certain to make the play offs to a side that could come 7th . Poole and Belle vue are now miles clear of everyone so cant see this being a season to look forward to .
