Bad signing but at this stage i guess we had little choice .takes us from a good side that was certain to make the play offs to a side that could come 7th . Poole and Belle vue are now miles clear of everyone so cant see this being a season to look forward to .

Glad to see back on this subject ...you went missing for a quite a while the moment North signed for Swindon ..I wonder why I forgot you naïve enough get suck in by Matt Ford's press statement .

And ? all it means is the reason North has given to Swindon ...that does it is is gospel or the whole story ....how naïve speedway fans can be sometimes it's unreal ...

I read the statements by Matt Ford saying that North was not coming back to the uk this year ..only for a week later for him to sign for another club ...also read the statements saying why his missed s the semi final last year loads of doubts about that as well ,...just because someone says something in a statement that does not mean that it is gospel or indeed the whole truth .

Could be a million reasons ....he could have just change his mind he may not have the money he may not be that keen on Speedway anymore he may have a girlfriend he wants to stay with the list is endless ....just because someone says something in a press statement does mean that is true a bit like missing a play off semi final really .

We don't that ..all we have heard that is the reason being put forward ....As I said the only fact in the case is that he never felt it bad enough to go back in the first place ...nothing is going to change that .

It's going over old ground but the fact will always that was not serious enough for him to go home or not ride in the final ...that will always be a fact

How do you gage that the pl is in a better place ...is has the same problems not enough people paying to watch the sport ...the same % clubs find themselves trying to stay alive no matter what league they are in ...a complete myth that Pl is in a better place ....speedway is in big trouble at every level it is that simple .

Don't agree ...the thing that has always been true is that crowds have dropped as the standard has dropped and unless something is done in that respect it will carry on and speedway will die a slow death . Thou it's quite clear that the best days are Thursday ,Fridays and weekends to get better crowds it's quite clear at El level that teams as they have in the last few years would have most of there team missing most of the time on these dates so it would just defeat the object of having a fixed race nights . As I said before Fans biggest hate is riders missing matches and having guests and rr so there is little point having El speedway on these dates . Monday or Wednesday are the way to go ...teams can have full 1 -7 's it won't effect the double up riders so pl teams can have more chance of full 1 -7's and it may bring back a few good riders into the bargain ...of course some teams are going to have to ditch there normal race night but after a while they would soon get used to what night speedway is on ...looking it already you can see that the ugly head of self interest will stop this in it's tracks with the likes of John Cook only caring about keeping his own race night .

Join a sinking ship ? not sure you notice the Pl is hardly the place to be ...yet another who thinks that all the problems are at El level ....speedway is a sinking ship at all levels . Saying that if they are going to make it Thursday and Friday then the idea is a complete waste of time .

It seems me that you made up your mind you don't like it and your going make up any reason you can find to do that . You started off by saying it would effect Pl teams. Once it was explain to you that would not be the case you changed to top riders taking money out of the sport etc etc thou clearly that won't be true . To me your just an old fan who does not like any change .I bet if it ever started your be sitting there preying for it to fail and be unhappy if it worked .

Yet again another delay ...this has been my problem from the start ...why keep giving the fans these silly start dates ..as if the stadium was going to be built during the season and be ready by june ect ...they treated the fans like mugs no what happens now .

i expect over half of the gp's riders have at one stage rode in the uk before ...as i said you are guessing that riders won't come back on fixed race nights as it's based no data as it's never happened before ...and if will need 2 or 3 to make a massive difference ...i also expect they spoken to Tai etc and taken in what has said before going ahead with this .

Based on what ? who knows how many would ride again on a fixed race night ...it's impossible to judge ....the main thing is to get riders to miss less meetings, what fans say in there biggest problem at the moment ...if better riders come then it's a bonus .
