The Lions have had there best year money wise in the El this year by all accounts ..Clubs find it hard it all leagues and club tend to go bust because they are poorly run as a rule ... Brum lost a packet in the PL Boro have done the same this year . One of the biggest problems we have is thinking that the PL is doing well .

I sure most people do . My point was that it's no big deal to get the World cup final and are only chance of having it here is when this stadium is built ... it's been at Smellmead and Boro in the past and Even Bewick host big under 21 events etc .

Surely the main thing about having the set race night on a Monday it's to make sure that teams are at full strength rather that the sort of team Eastie are putting up tonight at Poole .. if it has the added bonus of making teams stronger then all well and good .

Been say before no fans don't care about any kind of play offs that don't include a title being on the line . First in the league is no doubt the fairest way but without the play offs the season and crowds would just die as most teams won't nothing to race for .Look at Swindon matches for the rest of the season we have something to race for in a first past the post season rather than having nowt to race for and the crowds falling and putting the club in danger of going under .. Saying that I really dislike the format of the pl play offs should just do the same as the el and have 4 teams and have two semi's and a final .

It not always pay it bills thou ? the clubs been poorly supported and nearly gone bust before ...it's area and destination did not do much for it then did it . As I said it's club that has risen from the ashes to be the biggest club in the uk and the best example you can get of how to run a speedway club bar Matt Ford bending the rules of course ...

The club used to be dump but as now risen to be the best club and best supported club in the uk ...I would say it would the best example you can have of what a club at speedway as a whole could do if run well .
