So get this right you are saying that if it was known that Zagar was to be replaced by a junior that it would no effect on the crowd ? in the lifetime of Speedway Zagar is a not big name but in the UK as we speak he one of the best riders and one of the biggest draws . Still waiting for your answer about what teams can't ride Home matches on a Monday night .

Of course a rider like Matt Zagar would have an effect on crowd figures .it's common sense that the stronger the side the more likely the crowd's going to be bigger .

If that's what the Fans wanted then Pl and Nl would have the bigger crowds the fact that they don't shows it's not what the fans want Are ask the question again what team's in the El can't home Matches on a Monday ? Because a lot people want to watch the better riders I understand you don't but loads do

Putting crap teams out is a risk, as I said you don't save money if you lose most of the crowd . Putting out a cheaper product won't always save you money . I have already said have a go at running top speedway on one or two race nights . Not sure if it would work but at least it's a new plan

The Pl is full of foreigners ..no doubt the idea of flying crap foreigners to appear in front of 500 fans is a fantastic business model ..Clubs go bust in both league's and find it hard to survive . Intill the likes of you start to understand that then Speedway has little chance of going forward

Spot on ..then the bigger clubs start getting the best riders just like last time and the smaller start to moan ...We need some new plans not olds one that have been done before .

Cheper to run but with less fans and income ...a big league has been done before and it never worked There are good and bad meetings in all leagues and in all Speedway ..What I would say is that the Pl has the better tracks at the moment and that is the key thing ..A big Pl might please a few but there will always a massive amount fans you will want to watch the best riders and with all due respect we can't afford to lose them

You could say that about any TV sport . A lot of new fans no doubt got into speedway by first watching a Sky match To be fair I think they have made a much better effort in terms of picking matches this year ...more matches on normal race nights a nice mix of El and Pl etc

Most fans can only afford to go one once so that's not a problem .if you want to watch more then is nothing stop you watching the PL and NL on other nights . Speedway can't go on as it is and we can't go back to the good old days so let's give it a go .

Yea it's a joke team's at the top level still trying to ride on Fridays and at Weekends meaning 3 or 4 changes per match . I said it for ages, change it to one or maybe two race days with say 8 teams no Eastie etc . As you say it will be tough but it's about people get brave and gave it a chance . Swindon had a big crowd to watch him do just that the other week .

As I said there were plenty of matches in the old days when riders done the same as Troy Batchelor new I remember riders getting teams into ko cup finals by guesting only for that team going on to beat the riders parent club in the final it's nothing new .

Never stopped people going in the old days when Guests were still used ..it's a myth to say people don't go anymore because of that .

Crump just told you that Frost the bloke who knows the crowd figures say they were poor . NO offence but I have feeling he's likely to know unlike you ...The bottom line is that the crowds were poor on Fridays .

It's just a shame you got nothing in between them .

Just as many stupid rules in the old days when the crowds were big ..as well .riders were paid by other riders to drop points etc etc the sport was more bent than a David Beckham free kick .

What running a speedway meeting that no one would go to and making a huge loss . Putting on a speedway meeting on the night of a England world cup match is madness .
