I don't think anyone is defending the double points rule but it's no more mickey mouse than the old rule where you could your top two riders in heat 8 if you wanted and you could only had to be six points down as well ,also overall you could score a lot more points and used it more times as well . Either you are with extra points being scored or your not but the new rule is no more mickey mouse than the old one .

Yet again how that does explain why today rule is a joke and why the old rule was not ...what on earth has the standard of racing have to do with it ? yet again you can't explain yourself .

Did they not have guests and rr years ago when the crowds were big then ? Sure fans and riders etc are Fed up with Matt Ford and co and there rules but as I said over long time no one has come up with anything that is better than rr or guests .

Yet again a idea that takes in no account for the crowds needed to for Speedway to survive ...If say Poole were missing a no 1 rider like Ward or Holder a riders who brings in the crowds and you replace him with rr it will cost the home team a shed load of money ..also teams at times could gain a massive advantage if the number 3 rider was in better form than number the 2 and so on leaving the gate open for teams to cheat .. as I said we have had years of having rr and the reason is no one has come with something that can replace it that works .

Yet again the same as guests no one have come a better idea on a system that will work ...you find this on most subjects about people moaning but not having answers ..

If we were honest I don't think we will feel the same thou Tai was born in the uk I think a lot of fans don't look at him as a True Brit a bit Like Lenox Lewis etc thats just the way we brits think ...There also can be doubt that Tai would never have got the chance to be World Champ this year if had not been a brit and got the wildcard but also having that Aussie mindset has no doubt been a big help to him as well . Fair to him most never even gave him a chance of being in the top 8 let alone winning it and I think he has been a deserved winner.

Agree with most of that to me all teams should have to have a junior team say of 4 riders and have a 7 heat match after each senior match v there counterparts I think that also be welcome by the crowd as well ...to me it's always been quite simple get it right at grass roots level and the rest will look after itself

Not slagging off anyone just pointed out why it's has it's name ..but yet after explaining it you come up with the childish and silly so called El jibe again ... why people get so hung up on a name that just explains it the top division in terms of team strength in the uk is most odd ...

It's call the Elite because it's the top division in the Uk nothing more nothing less ...why fans have such a hang up about the name and even more so when most of them come from a league who name makes no sense of all is laughable . To get a name like the Elite you don't have to have the best riders in the world you don't even have to have the best riders in a uk all you need is to have the strongest set of the sides as it's team event .

The Elite league name Would pass with flyingl colours unlike the Premier league name .

Paul Hudson was pretty good at Reading intill they closed down .

Of course i care about British Speedway haveing 4 or 5 Brits who are not very good will mean crowds will go down to nl level and teams will go under ..be a great day for speedway thou 4 people you can't turn a corner being cheer on by 150 fans .
