For once I going to agree with my old mate Sidney to be fair on watching it on tv it's good but being at the match it's like watching paint dry and it's kills the feel of the meeting with all the hanging about .

No one force Eastie Belle Vue to say they were going pull out of the league, the bottom line is they were the same as cov and Boro they were not willing to take part in a league under certain rules . Nothing has changed since 2009 but after writeing that piece it makes Douglas and co even worst than the others .

And ? they were willing to let Boro and Cov go under ...Them not getting there way is the same as Eastie and Belle Vue, both not willing to take part in the league if certain rules were in place

They sided with Poole on the other rules as well ...even thou they knew that is was all about Ford giving teaching Cov a lesson ..if they have not got along with ford then maybe cov and boro would have not walk out ...the bottom line is there as bad as anyone else as they have helped Ford do his dirty work

Cant say I agree ...the semi's should never been shown and rode on the same night being a fan at the match I found it like pulling teeth waiting for the next heat ...I thought the crowd last night at Poole was very poor ,got there thinking there would a massive wait to get in only to find no one outside at all and we just walk it and bar the stand it very Spartan ...saying that I guess it must have look good on tv but as a fan at the match I did not enjoy it and it was nowt to to do with the result .

There is no that Poole have run within there budget this year ...who knows what teams have debts and have not paid riders ...I expect there are plenty more in both leagues who are in the same boat .

And ? under the old rule you could score more overall and be less points behind and also put riders in when you wanted ...there is no logic that makes the old rule fairer .

I don't think anyone is defending the double points rule but it's no more mickey mouse than the old rule where you could your top two riders in heat 8 if you wanted and you could only had to be six points down as well ,also overall you could score a lot more points and used it more times as well . Either you are with extra points being scored or your not but the new rule is no more mickey mouse than the old one .
