  1. Nope i wouldnt say Leon Madsen is better than Jason Doyle But i would say Leon Madsen was better than Jason Doyle in Poland
  2. Depends on which way you look at it. Ipswich riders since before christmas have been to many corporate functions and also time at local schools as well as the ties with the football club. The promotion are getting the riders out there and getting maximum exposure from the town. There isnt a right or wrong way in my opinion its whatever works for the club and the community
  3. are you trolling or just simply not that intelligent?
  4. ???? so Kurtz in the UK is better than Morris yet Morris averaged almost a point more!!! please come on get real.....you may think Kurtz is better rider which is a valid opinion.........................but last year in the uk Morris was better. Your making zero sense
  5. ah bless Just highlighting the point that Tungate is on a good average. Kurtz looks like he should be on a good average so if Tungate is 2 points lower looks even better. And your lord and master Shovlar says that we can use Poland as a guide to Brady being better than Morris but then says we cant use Australia as a guide to Tungate and Kurtz. Love to pick and choose to try and suit an argument very touchy down Dorset way
  6. why on earth are you going off on some weird tangent to try and argue against a fact! WHOSE AVERAGE IS BETTER IN THE UK??????? Nobody is saying Kurtz might not average 9 this season and do better than Morris Nobody is disputing Kurtz does better abroad. But until he averages the same as Morris or better in the UK then over here he simply is inferior...........end of discussion. And yes Zagar is better than Morris........but in 2016 the format was different..plus if he averaged lower then Nick then no he isnt as good over here. Surely its not to hard to understand
  7. please tell me where i have sniped at anyone?? oh sorry your a Poole fan so yes you quite precious i guess. Tungate is on a good average as a second string if he is capable of beating a rider who is 2 points better off riding as a number one..............no sniping just an observation
  8. wow and yet your still not understanding anything. never said there is a massive gap as you put it but there is a gap. If Kurtz eradicates his duff rides he will close that gap and maybe average more than Morris. on the world stage Brady is ahead of Morris but in the uk he isnt simple as that
  9. Great signing getting the Aussie champ and on a great low average , nearly 2 points lower than the rider he pipped to the title, plus he flies round the NSS. Belle Vue team shaping up very nicely
  10. I find this incredible that some Poole fans can be that daft not to see facts! 2017 Brady Kurtz was not as good as Nick Morris in the top flight. There is no discussion on this its fact 2018 Brady Kurtz has the potential to be as good if not better than Morris is over here. You cant compare what they do abroad unless your Steve Shovlar who is saying Brady is better in Poland but yet thinks it doesnt matter that Tungate beat Kurtz in the Aussie champs! If your team building you may well have Kurtz as his average is nearly a point lower and his will go up you would think and Morris may stay the same. I agree Brady may go on to better things than Morris but at the moment IN THE UK Morris is simply better than Kurtz.......you cant argue that.
  11. Either. one has proved he can get near 9 points one has the potential to do so
  12. Lol who has the brain cell today! Kurtz has the potential to add at least half a point on his average. Morris doesn't so for team building purposes you would have Kurtz. Bit like last season Poole chose KK because his average fitted better than Holder and Holder would be unlikely to increase his. Didn't mean they thought KK was the better rider. Kurtz has the potential to average 9 so you would have him on an average just over 8.
  13. So averaging nearly 9 not good enough for you? Lets see how Kurtz gets on and if he can achieve in the UK what Morris has
  14. Irrelevant. Who has the better potential?Kurtz Who is better in Uk? Morris of course Brady has room to improve his average which all team managers want and Morris probably doesn't so it's a bit of a daft argument to say that want Kurtz when they will because he should improve
  15. When he averages more than Morris over here than you have a case. At the moment to say Kurtz is better in the uk is total tosh. One minute your saying it's irrelevant that Tungate beat Kurtz because it's Aussie form. Yet in the next moment your saying Kurtz is better than Morris because of the teams he has signed for abroad!!
  16. Why is that nice try? In the uk Morris almost a 9 pointer and Brady just over 8. No doubting Kurtz has the potential but he isn't even close yet to what Morris does over here. As I've said if he cuts out the silly duff rides and mistakes he could push on to the level Morris has achieved in the Uk
  17. Brady didn't bottle it just seemed Tungate wanted it more the usual Shovlar guff to make us all laugh though. As I said even before the Aussie champs is that Kurtz messes up one or two rides every meeting and when the pressure is on he over rides if anything. It's not coincidence that it was all 4 finals he messed up in. so a Belle Vue second string beats Pooles number 1.....oops! Kurtz as I said has huge potential if he can eradicate the mistakes...... he could yet be as good as Nick Morris time will tell
  18. Firstly Pawlicki doesn't fit but nice trolling attempt! Secondly if your so sure of those sides makes you wonder why Shanes isn't signed and sealed.
  19. They should be ok as they have ridden here before but one thing is certain they will not have their best equipment here.
  20. Good Memories: Started going speedway in 1982 to Rye House and then loved going to Ipswich in around 1984 and seeing the 'big names' After my uncle sponsored a 14 year old at Hackney , then seeing that 14 year old progress into the 2000 World Champion and travelling with Marks family to go to big meetings. My first British Final in 1990 (Marks first one) Commenwealth Final 1994 and Semi Final at Bradford 1994 great atmospheres World Final the only 1 day one i went to in 1994 at Vojens. Bad Memories: Being at Hackney the night Paul Muchene had his accident.just a simple slide off abut into the path of the incoming Nick Floyd who had nowhere to go. Then David Steen who we were good friends with coming over to us to tell us he looked like he wouldnt make it, horrible night. Watching Mick Poole at Peterborough and Lee Richardson at Coventry fence Mark Loram. And a weird one was being at Coventry for the British Final and hearing about the death of Senna Being at a grasstrack meeting and hearing about Erik Gundersens bad accident
  21. I dont suppose the irony is lost on anyone that a Poole fan has said that speedway is corrupt
  22. find where ive used abusive language apart from numpty and moron please
  23. ah bless you had to jump in didnt you. ok you obviously dont understand things so let me spell it out. Brady Kurtz on all known form and averages is clearly the stand out rider in the Aussie champs. Yes or No? Brady Kurtz is the only elite league number one riding in the Aussie champs. Yes or No Brady Kurtz has dominated the Aussie champs. Yes or No Brady Kurtz keeps falling at the final hurdle in all 3 rounds. Yes or No Not once have i slagged Kurtz off as a rider! He keeps making mistakes at crucial times...............a fact that has been backed up by real Poole fans. Ive said if he cuts those out he could be as good as Doyle or Morris this season coming........how is that slagging him off?
  24. couldnt be bothered to go through it all. but quite clearly ive not slagged Kurtz off and quite nice for a Poole fan to agree and chat like a normal human being
  25. Please please please find me the post where i have slagged Kurtz off??? Ive said he has more potential than most riders Ive said his form means he should dominate the Aussie champs The only thing he needs to curb is the odd bad ride ....like he keeps doing in Aus and had a habit of doing last season, which many Poole fans have agreed with me on. Ive also said on paper he is one of the weakest number ones in the league but he has the most potential. If you take that as 'slagging off' then you are very easily bruised. I dont wish to bring everyone down a peg or two..............just the 3 or 4 Poole fans on here .....the majority are fine
