  1. Fully expected this result Belle Vue have built their team to win well at home like any team would They have riders like Blodorn Tate and Cook and to a lesser extent Kildemand who don’t go well away If those 4 can up their game away from home Belle Vue should win the league However over 2 legs I would fancy Sheffield more as they have riders in the Holder brothers and Pickering who go well at Belle Vue and can keep the away leg to 10 or so
  2. Northampton don’t have a number one bit like us at Ipswich so the team is built strength in depth
  3. Leicester often get beat fairly heavily at Belle Vue and then win easily at home
  4. Belle Vue should hit 60 comfortably tonight … got 57 in the cup when missing home track experts Kurtz and Blodorn
  5. Oh I agree her definitely does …. One ex witch was very vocal in telling people how much help both Doyle and Emil were in the pits regarding set ups and overall morale ….. the same ex witch said a certain side he rode for the top boys offered no help and kept themselves to themselves and the team morale was low …. It wasn’t Belle Vue but I will let you work it out …. im sure Doyle will help Tate and cairns no end
  6. We understand why it just makes a mockery of it all and the championship is boring because of it No issues with Doyle going Belle Vue … obviously you haven’t read the Belle Vue thread … bit thick commenting before finding facts
  7. It’s not rocket science the Poole track is awful …. I’m an Ipswich fan and ours is no better…. Just the simple fact is Poole fans can’t accept it They always build a title side and they are happy being a big fish in a small pond and the crowd don’t care about the racing it’s only about winning Poole should be in the top league but they don’t want to be while they can just scoop up all the talent in the lower league … you would think the fans would want more after glory years they had
  8. Do you think Doyle will have a better away average than Bewley would have done? I’m not sure
  9. I know ….. all those years at Ipswich when he really only wanted to ride for Belle Vue He may get close to that average as he currently has no big injuries to ride his way back from like he did the last 2 seasons and now he is 40 I’m sure he will be just as good as he was in 2022 before he had those big crashes and age definitely isn’t a factor At least now you finally have a heat leader who will know his way around Foxhall and if you are up against a full witches 1-7 (which for once you was last season) then you may be able to finally win over 2 legs
  10. I get what you are saying and Ipswich is a gaters track and not a great track I agree … let’s be fair Kurtz is a great gater probably the worlds best … he didn’t make one start that night and showed absolutely no desire to try and mix it from third or fourth …. Not that our track lends itself to good racing I thought it was a poor effort … like you say maybe an off night but I honestly think he didn’t try that hard… i understand why I’m not that foolish but there are other riders (your own Bewley being one of them) who would have still tried maybe to no avail As I said id like to see Kurtz win the title
  11. All depends on how riders like Blodorn Cook and Tate do away from home As much as I’m happy to see Doyle over here it definitely makes Belle Vue weaker than it did with Bewley so I don’t see why all of a sudden they are favourites Sheffield or Leicester for me
  12. I’m absolutely delighted Doyle is back in British speedway we need the big names ….. and let’s be fair it could have been much worse…. He could have gone to Sheffield which would be unforgivable lol Ipswich fans who are angry are just fools who have no idea about the sport …. All the uncertainty over the winter meant Doyle did what’s right for him ….. am I angry …. No… would I have liked him at Ipswich …. Absolutely
  13. You have this weird fascination about me disliking Kurtz I guess reading isn’t your strong point because I said last season and this season that I wanted Kurtz to win the world title But I stand by the fact he let Belle Vue down in the play offs last season…. Yes he has a world championship to go for but he didn’t try at all for his club … something Bewley wouldn’t do and neither the new signing Doyle I also mentioned his poor score at Sheffield this season as a pointer to the fact he has to step up a bit more this season now there is no Bewley … he has to get 12 or 13 most weeks minimum If you feel that those opinions mean I dislike him then you can run with that to suit your agenda If he is leading the world championship or in with a shout around the play offs and he still bangs in big scores then fair play …
  14. Definitely not Not yet Sort of He isn’t One million percent
  15. Welcome back to British speedway Doyley still one of the worlds best and you know exactly what you will get 100% and more Gutted he isn’t back with us but we had so much uncertainty he had to look elsewhere I think the signing although good for speedway doesn’t help Belle Vue much at home as I think guest options would have been better wish him all the best … but not to much lol
  16. I don’t think Kurtz struggles with pressure .. how many gp’s did he win on the bounce when he needed to…. can see him winning both
  17. All I’m saying about Kurtz is that British speedway is a fair way down his list of priorities and sometimes that clearly shows…. Whereas someone like Bewley or Doyle when he was here would give 110% everytime And yes I’m correct when I say Kurtz has to step up especially away while Bewley is out .. he can’t be getting 8 from 5 away from home If you look back on the GP threads i wanted Kurtz to be world champion so it’s not as some people think that I don’t like him ……. Just he can be flaky at times with his riding in the UK and not his fault but as a number one he needs 12 or 13 a meeting not 8
  18. Poole as I said in my post lol But Edinburgh know with two full 1-7 that Poole would be there for the taking at home Replace Harris score with what Dan T usually gets Replace Tate with the score Bowes usually gets Not hard to see why Edinburgh will be happy moving forward
  19. Bowes at Edinburgh scored 0 and 2 last season his replacement got 4 tonight … i don’t care who Bowes beat at Poole the other night it’s irrelevant based on his form at Edinburgh Dan T has scored 13 13 11 and 10 at home his replacement got 5 I’m sure you aren’t Diane Abbott and your maths is pretty good so if Bowes scored 1 tonight and Dan T 12 that’s a total of 13 which is a 10 point swing based on tonight’s scores… it’s all ifs and buts and maybes but clearly if both sides has their 1-7 Poole would possibly have had a heavier defeat
  20. How did a strengthened Poole side lose to Edinburgh…. Tate far better than Bowes would have been and Harris scoring less than half of what Thompson would have Might be a good result for Poole in this competition but even a 10 point score for Thompson would have been 51-39 …. Bowes never scores at Edinburgh… Edinburgh would be strong contenders to beat Poole over 2 legs of Thompson and Bowes both rode
  21. Spoke to Danny afterwards and he said he didn’t feel confident in the track and wasn’t making gates so they went with Lawson although Danny was asked first
  22. Clueless or trolling? Ipswich fans are not fickle we have had the biggest crowds even through the crap years and lower league …. One of if not the best supported clubs And although Brennan and Lidsey ride at one they aren’t exactly good enough to be number ones and Lidsey again doing his usual Foxhall performance.
  23. Are you happy with 8 from 6 rides from your number one and world number 2? You have lost Bewley which is huge. At home you can almost cover him with Lidsey and maybe Fricke guesting though they obviously can’t replace Dan If you aren’t winning big at home without Bewley then there is pressure to step up away from home …..especially from Kurtz he needs to go to the other tracks have 5 rides and get 12 or 13 If he can and Zach Cook and Tate keep performing the way are then you can get bonus points … which you didn’t get tonight because Sedgeman and Brady didn’t do there jobs … 1 point from Sedgeman and 4 from Brady when he run 3 last places would have seen you get the bonus point Of course without Dan it will always be tough so yes 8 from 6 from Brady is not good enough
  24. Comfortable for Sheffield with no Bewley Kurtz needs to step it up away from home or Belle Vue will again be losing many away matches
  25. Poole could easily get close to 60 in this one Harris last 3 meetings at Poole 16 rides and 6 wins and is out of form Howarth last 3 has had 14 rides and 1 win Flint 8 rides and 1 win Add in having Jack Smith and Luke Harrison and Glasgow are very weak Rushen and Cairns can easily hit double figures Any Poole fan expecting this to be close is deluded
