  1. Glasgow will be serious contenders with that side. Top 4 bankers for me along with us at Ipswich. I cant see Ipswich losing at home all season with the side we have. I try and get to Foxhall 5-6 times a season when the better teams are in town and i will 100% make sure im there when Glasgow are
  2. Oh dear Starman and Gater1 teaming up!! I started the Ippo thread thanks buddy. Ive commented on our team and also on the Glasgow thread as you well know.
  3. Nobody is saying we werent beat by the better team!! We are just showing that the exclusion in that heat should have been Nicholls and not Greaves
  4. Yes im very worried about Chris Holder riding for Poole as my team are in the league below
  5. I would say the Ipswich team is as exciting as Glasgows. Harris is always a joy to watch but so to are Covatti and Heeps. I would say the teams are very evenly matched lol take a look over all the threads buddy and see the abuse you get from everyone.............doesnt take a genius to work out who the issue is. Im merely expressing my opinion that both sides look very good and i would imagine no team will 'smash' the other one. Now run along
  6. And people are still stunned when Starman misses the point
  7. Wow got to love the usual Poole people missing the point. Riders who didnt ride over here last season but did in the GP are reassessed at 9.0 Tai Woffinden and Matej Zager had averages under 8 points gained in the 2016 season and have now been reassessed as a 9.0 Why is it wrong to suggest that any foreign rider who rode over here before or during 2016 but missed last year, shouldnt also be reassessed? Chris Holder never completed a full season last year. As a gp rider surely he should also be looked at? I dont care less who people ride for but its amazing how often that one club in particular benefit from the rulings.
  8. They are 2 good teams and i would expect us both to be top 4 barring injuries. It was more a response to the braindead troll from Poole than a pop at Glasgow buddy
  9. Wake up. Riders who rode here in before and including 2016 that have ridden in the GP are coming back as a 9. Thats riders like Zagar and Woffinden. Why shouldnt any other foriegn rider who didnt ride here last year be re assessed as well? Woryna has improved a lot since he last rode here so why shouldnt he be reassessed after time away? You Poole fans love a rule that benefits your club but god forbid the boot on the other foot!
  10. Im happy enough with the Witches side against this Glasgow side when you match the teams up Worrall v King.................King has the higher average and i would expect that to be the same Harris v Schlien...............Again Rory has the better average so wouldnt expect to much between them Kerr v Covatti...................Nico by a mile Starke v Heeps................Heeps the better average and the more likely to improve ? v Haartel........................I would expect Glasgow to have the edge here Sarj v Mountain...............Nothing in it average wise but i would expect Sarj to do better ? v Hume.........................Not worried who Glasgow sign here as Hume will do better in my opinion So yes very good Glasgow side as expected but im more than happy with my side
  11. So what begins? You ahve been on pretty much every teams threads commenting on line ups and being wide of the mark every time. I mention one thing and away you go! Give it a rest
  12. They thought Klindt would be the ringer last season and look how that turned out! Nobody knows what will happen in a season. Last season if you had said Poole will move on KK, Klindt and Newman before a wheel was turned you would have been ridiculed. Let alone replace them with Kennett, Lahti and Starke!
  13. Chris Holder never finished the season so his average is just based on pretty much half a season. He should be a 9 along with all the other GP riders
  14. I dont believe Scott meant it but he clearly lifted, hit Nathan and should have been excluded. There isnt even an argument
  15. Starman telling people to go back to their own threads..............priceless
  16. Cams last away matches with the last match away at Peterborough. He rode at Peterborough, Sheffield (twice), Workington, and Scunthorpe as a heat leader so im more than happy that from a second string berth , Heeps will do just fine 12 @ Peterborough 8+1 @ Sheffield 6+1 @ Sheffield 8+2 @ Workington 13 @ Scunthorpe 3 @ Newcastle 6+2 @ Berwick
  17. Pressure on Heeps?? Rode the end of last season as a heat leader and was winning race after race at home beating top opposition riders. Next season he will ride at 2 or 4. Cant be many teams that will line up with 4 heat leaders Never nice to leave a Brit out but Nathan would have been in the 1-5 and may have struggled there i guess. Plus he isnt our asset and Haartel will be. Would like to thank Nathan and Kyle for this season just gone and the best of luck next season. Im sure both will get a rousing welcome if they visit with their new clubs
  18. With regards to Ipswich he simply couldnt be fitted in and its purely a numbers game. There was no way that King and Schlien werent going to come back. Heeps form from mid to end season was sensational so he was always going to be back. Covatti is a crowd pleaser and if back to full fitness gives us a strong top 4. Hume is a no brainer on a 2.00 and Mountain is good away from Foxhall and if his home form gets better then he is a must as well. This left one place that could have been used by Greaves but we have decided to go for a young promising German, not always sure on leaving a Brit out but i guess they feel Nathan may have struggled in the 1-5. Kyle Newman quite simply couldnt be fitted in. He never really was comfortable on our track and the fact we had the 'main 4' coming back meant he was always likely to be the one to go. I for one hope he gets fixed up as he gives 110% every time he gets on a bike
  19. Oh dear the lack of knowledge and understanding from certain Poole fans is quite laughable. Have a look at what Poole did to Newman and then what has happened to him at Ipswich and tell me how they are the same lol
  20. those 3 and Heeps would see us unbeatable at home
  21. Mark is very astute i have known the family since Mark was 15. Mark demanded more money as has been said but rather than doing the talking himself he got Norrie to do it. Norrie used to rub people up the wrong way and probably did that to Matt Ford. Mark maybe thought he was worth more than he should have been i agree with that, but Mark knew what he wanted and maybe made the mistake of not speaking to Ford personally.
  22. No TR asked to leave the club and went out to Kings Lynn the following season and him and Leigh Adams were the top 2 Not going down this route again. I have close links to the Loram family and know the exact story. Mark told Norrie a price and Norrie went to Ford and Ford refused. Mark may have asked for to much for Matt Ford to pay, but Mark was the one who came up with the figure. Mark didnt like confrontation so Norrie did all of the talking. Mark is very quiet but a very astute businessman hence his forays into building work and car sales. He ended up going to Peterborough for more than he asked Matt Ford to pay him at Poole. This is the Swindon thread can we leave this here please.
  23. Erik Riss would be a great signing but cant see it
