  1. I don’t agree with not using a rider from a play off side unless you have raced against them Say Ipswich beat Belle Vue and then Sheffield beat Leicester then if Emil gets injured we can use Fricke rather than a mercenary for 1 meeting And I don’t believe we should use Bewley or Kurtz because we knocked them out If it’s a Belle Vue v Sheffield final and Jack Holder is injured then Sheffield can use Emil
  2. if Sheffield are missing Jack Holder through injury then Sheffield have a guest up to his average … why is that an issue
  3. I feel it’s more devalued when a team bring in a top rider like let’s say Robert Lambert who openly criticises British speedway , for a few end of season meetings to win a league….. injuries happen and that’s what guests are for
  4. And the winner of this weeks most stupid post goes to….. Doyle has been the most loyal overseas rider to British speedway over the last 10-15 years This meeting could only be rearranged for Wednesday when he has a contractual agreement ……. You may or may not be aware this meeting has to be staged before the cut off leaving not many nights when it could be run If this was rained off mid season it would 100% be rerun on a convenient Monday or Thursday with 2 fill teams barring injuries. Ipswich have moved fast to secure 2 guests both of whom go well at Sheffield
  5. Take out Emil and Laguta and is Doyle one of the best 16 riders in the world?? Without injury he would clearly be 9th at the worst this season Hate the idea of ‘we must have new blood’ ….. not for me if they aren’t as good
  6. Without injury he would be 9th …. Name riders who haven’t qualified who would do better
  7. Cheerio Lambert lol Fricke qualifying automatically should help Doyle a wild card …crashed in his 4th ride and missed the end of the second GP… missed a GP and then rode the next 2 injured he would at least be 9th I reckon
  8. You are missing the point Ipswich , Leicester, Birmingham and Oxford hardly produce fast speedway Lynn to a lesser extent is fast but Belle Vue and Sheffield are the fastest Sheffield is narrower and according to your own riders has one line close to the fence Its irrelevant about career ending crashes they can happen anywhere My point is that as a rider would you rather race in tricky conditions at Sheffield or say Ipswich …… Sheffield would be much riskier in adverse conditions
  9. Seems like the right call to me Sheffield is the most dangerous track in the league and add on the conditions it could have been a nightmare And before the usual suspects start moaning Sheffield and Belle Vue are the fastest tracks by some way but Sheffield is narrower and as Jack Holder says it only has one real line out wide so it becomes more dangerous on that aspect alone
  10. Belle Vue 2 man team away from home as usual Good result for the stars
  11. And neither Holder brother wanted to ride either so what’s your point and why would Ipswich riders hang around
  12. Apparently neither Holder brother or Doyle were that keen to race
  13. Can’t see Ipswich getting close especially without Ellis Sheffield have good home track advantage and the way the track is with only one line a millimetre from the fence I don’t care what the result is as long as we get away unscathed
  14. Should be Sheffield by 10 not sure r/r can cover Adam but we will see
  15. Annual play off injury jinx lol Beat a Sheffield side in the semi final missing Woffinden Won against Leicester away in the final with a full 1-7…. Or do you mean you had Iversen guesting for Cook in the second leg Ipswich lost Doyle and Emil when Nile’s clear last season You won the league because you had no injuries last season around play off time
  16. When they going to realise that was Ben Cook in third in that race … pathetic
  17. Can’t stand Tungate but that was farcical …. Was clearly asked to move over and did and gets excluded …. Wrong decision for me
  18. So Belle Vue have lost twice on aggregate to Sheffield and twice on aggregate to Ipswich …. Yet it’s trolling to point that out … strange analogy Belle Vue and Sheffield out of the 4 teams in the plays are the two who could thump anyone at home by 20 plus points easily …. The trouble is that they are the worse 2 teams away from home so if they do only win their home leg by 10-12 points they will lose by more away from home Ipswich could easily choke and so could Leicester but for anyone to disagree that it’s likely a Leicester v Ipswich final is crazy
