  1. I don’t consider myself a full time supporter because I have family and work and live over an hour from Foxhall so I pick and choose my meetings …. We have rode at home 3 times … I went to the first meeting of the season simply because it’s the first meeting and we all miss our speedway …. The track was shocking .. we don’t have the best track but it’s been better last couple of seasons …. I gave the second match a miss as it was Northampton and the third match I didn’t go to as it was King’s Lynn again …. However the people I sit with moaned the track was awful both times…..I will go to Belle Vue at home next week to see Bewley and Kurtz Would just be nice if for once the usual Poole suspects actually spoke the truth
  2. You are joking I wouldn’t pay a £1 to watch a meeting at Poole … friends of mine are ex Arena fans who when it closed started following Poole mainly online as it was far to travel … they watched it tonight and have now decided to stop paying out … still Poole fans though I will never say they are true fans as they never went but they have had enough of watching garbage And don’t think for one minute I like the Ipswich track…. It was ok going to meetings with Doyle and Emil but I’ve only been to the opening meeting and the track at Ipswich is worse than ever
  3. Pretty much spot on …. Guessed that Newman would score less than Allen and all the other Poole boys would outscore their opponents…. If I would have known how bad the track was o might have guessed about Klindt
  4. The Poole track is back to normal I see gate and go and no passing …. Tells you all you need to know when Klindt is unbeaten
  5. Poole fans trying to downplay their chances as usual it’s just comical Barrmg the number 4 position each rider in the Poole team should outscore their opponent Poole by a minimum of 10 points
  6. The way Gilkes was speaking I don’t think he will be keen to line up for Poole anytime soon….. Leicester showing loyalty to their rider even though the replacement became the second best rising star in the top flight Poole immediately bin him and keep the replacement whose average has gone up a huge 0.16 Poole have history of being ruthless and showing zero loyalty …. Why not sign Newman at the start of the season if Poole were worried about Gilkes
  7. Belle Vue again showing they won’t be beat at home with the top two and solid back up …. Trouble is Blodorn and Cook and Tate can’t ride away at some tracks Is Mulford still on the rising star list ? Would be a much better bet than cairns
  8. He will be up there his gating is first class … well it was until he missed it off red on his last ride …and then definitely wasn’t tough enough in the LCQ…
  9. Have a look back at it …. Lambert kicked out at Zmarzlik so he looked back at Lambert and kicked him back ….. Lambert is a jumped up clown most of the time
  10. I don’t believe Doyle is a contender for a title at all but is he in the best 10 riders in the world … yes
  11. Kurtz blew it in his last ride and then moved out of the way of Doyle… Who said Doyle wasn’t good enough for the Grand Prix when you have riders like Fricke and Madsen in there Let’s hope for the good of the meeting that Dan wins this
  12. Nicholls Musielek and Lawson unbeaten and riders like Harrison going well Lidsey showing yet again he is a one track pony can’t even seem to get round the bends
  13. Lidsey Klindt Batchelor and Lawson job done
  14. You needed Kurtz to have scored 12 to beat Sheffield in aggregate and considering last season he scored only 4 and 9 at Sheffield it might have been tough to have scored the 12 needed And yes you did ok at Foxhall when you had Brennan at reserve and riders like Wright who does ok at Foxhall which they got 19 between them when you won in 2023 You also had a good win when we had no Doyle and Emil both injured and Rew injured in his first race but hey that’s Speedway . You then built a team that can’t ride Foxhall .. Blodorn Cook and Lidsey and the reserves although Mulford was ok…. Of course you don’t build a team to win at just one track but surely even with your biased eyes you must realise Foxhall is probably your worst away track You say forget the title winning season but we smashed you 4 times … ok I will admit Kurtz didn’t try that night but still you lost all 4 matches Easy to say Witches have a 50% win record if you leave a whole season out lol This season we have no Doyle and Emil so we are much weaker Kurtz and Bewley need to dominate which they can do easily they have both gone well at Foxhall in the past. You still need someone else to step up like Cook or Kildemand and you will get the bonus point You won’t have a better chance to beat us over 2 legs
  15. Yes we at Ipswich absolutely loved gate and go it’s what we dream about Your pedantic patter around Belle Vue having the best track is rather tiresome …. We all know you have the best track yawn Your Tom??? Binned him and kept Blodorn lol
  16. A track that time after time Bewley admits he loves riding Granted Ipswich isn’t a great track certainly not on the class of Belle Vue….. but like all tracks some riders rode better than others…. That’s why last season we struggled against kings Lynn at home as their riders can ride out place Belle Vue fans get very touchy when you mention they can’t ride Foxhall … but that’s speedway
  17. We did better than I expected …..said before Nicholls wouldn’t score and Lawson and Musielek struggle there so to keep it to 12 was pretty good We could get the bonus I’m sure Bewley and Kurtz will keep it close…. The other Belle Vue boys can’t ride Foxhall
  18. And you sir win the award for the most stupid post on the thread
  19. Ah it’s only at the end of the season that Kurtz didn’t try at Foxhall I’m sure he will be fine at this early stage …. You can’t really put Bewley and trying in the same sentence as Kurtz as Bewley puts 110% into very meeting Should be an absolute walk in the park for Belle Vue this one Legends like Doyle and Emil have gone to be replaced by Lawson who hates the place and Musielek who had 12 races there last season and scored 7 each time We have no Ellis who also goes well there and he is replaced by Nicholls who by his own admission can’t ride Belle Vue and is possibly worse at Belle Vue then riders like Blodorn and Cook are at Foxhall which is hard to believe Kurtz and Bewley should max out easily Cook and Blodorn go well at home as does Tate This will be the worst track for Ipswich all season to go to ….. and the same for Belle Vue at our place…. Trouble is this time we don’t have replaced riders that used to go ok at Belle Vue with riders who don’t I can see Belle Vue getting 55 minimum tonight Back at Foxhall the class of Bewley and Kurtz will keep it closer than previous meetings and we may if lucky get 48-50 at home
  20. This poster talking about the elephant is a Belle Vue fan who on pretty much every thread harps on about how tracks don’t provide good racing … apart from Belle Vue obviously The whole speedway forum knows Belle Vue has the best track and best racing and unless there is 20 overtakes a meeting every other track is poor You can get great racing at tracks inferior to Belle Vue there doesn’t have to be overtaking to provide a great race I may be wrong but I’m sure it will be to do with the racing
  21. Scored 6 and 8 there the last 2 years hardly screams track specialist to me
  22. Well that was unexpected!! Poole fans on here are just hilarious having the actual audacity to have a go at another track when the whole speedway fanbase knows Poole is by some way the worst track in the league Shovlar saying sedgeman is a good replacement for Riss either shows he is thick or simply trolling Let’s be fair if Oxford where at full strength they could have been close to 60
  23. Not what I was saying If you are to win matches particularly at home your number 2 needs to get more than 4 and your number 6 needs to beat an opponent Paco is at his level … Rushen could be a superstar and yes he will no doubt beat riders of course he will
  24. Castagna getting 4 is not enough at home … your number 2 should win heat 8 at home and at least get 3 other 3rd places If you are happy with your number 6 not beating an opposition rider at home then so be it … makes for a long season Rushen is a great young talent but if he is riding at 6 and only scoring 3 and your rising star can’t help bale him out then it will be a very long season
