Poole are making up the numbers at the moment with the worst number 1 in the league apart from Tungate. Worrall for KK would improve Poole but not enough to make them title contenders. Roynon for Shanes is like for like but Shanes has potential but if you want to be champions no room for sentiment you need scorers now. Look at Wolves romping away after making changes. The good news is that with KK out you can pick better riders for the next few weeks and then try to hold down a top 4 place. Just thinking what Poole could have been like if they kept good young Brits like Howarth and Ellis

Poole Pirates Vs Rye House Rockets 10/5/17
Gavan replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Having Nick Morris for KK strengthens Poole a fair bit but now r/r for Robson evens it up a bit. Poole should win by at least 10 I would say -
One things for sure will take a good team to get the league trophy away from Wolves
-
Greaves probably the best available and doing better in the top league now. Let's get behind him and see where we go
-
He rode a GTR engine that didnt work and then switched and rode better. He is what he is a middle order man and on his home debut after a serious injury and bike troubles, 5 is fine. If Poole discard Newman its a bit of a joke

Why is Kyle Newman not riding? Straight back into Ipswich team on 27/04 so why not straight back into the Poole team???? -

Yep lol. No reports for either Belle Vue meeting and he went to both!!! You didnt do a report for the home match v Belle Vue..............and you were there You didnt do a report for the away match v Belle Vue...............and you were there You did a report for the away match v Leicester..............and you were there. Now dont tell me its just coincidence that you were able to do match report for the match against Leicester but yet couldnt for the other two that Poole happened perform badly in!! -

Yes Bates and Riss would have made a difference and Bates wouldnt have been beaten by Klindt everytime they met im sure of that. Poole may well have won but it would have been much much closer. Schlein and Graversen got 8 between them. In the last home meeting Bates and Riss got paid 24. even away from home they got 14. Nice to see your doing the match report and rider analysis..................did Poole win by any chance???? -

The expected result tonight Leicester severely weakened by their missing riders it was a good time for Poole to go there. I await the typical Shovlar against all odds win lol -

Did i say you did? i said there were match reports on the 2 Wolves meetings -
What a great ride from young Bewley that was! Not sure what Kurtz was doing just hugging the fence. Gave Bewley the whole of the rest of the track he needed to be a bit more defensive. It isnt just about ridng high wide and fast. That race had nothing to do with set ups but just track craft........what a star Bewley will end up being
-
I think Leicester will win the second leg as well but well dont Somerset on their win. If they can get Rohan and Josh competitive then they have a solid reserve in Allen piling up the points. Good to see Leicester doing well after last season
-
Can see Rye winning this by at least 10. Swindon so far look poor which is a shame as the club has its good supporters especially on here

They could............just strange then how the usual 2 Poole fans Shovvy and Starman were singing from the rooftops about how wonderful Poole were to beat Wolves over 2 legs......match reports and everything............then funnily enough when Poole are poor at home and awful away we have no reports on rider performances and then all of a sudden these matches dont count as trophies are handed out in October!!! -

Never known so much rubbish in one post! Bates is the best reserve in the league...............oh hang on no Poole have LEICESTERS HEAT LEADER from last season at reserve. So Leicester lose the second best reserve in the league and he is replaced by a poor rider in Graversen. Schlein is a better rider than Riss but Riss hasnt been beaten in any race he has completed. Poole are favourites for this make no mistake and Klindt back on the track he was a heat leader on will score a bucket load of points. One thing is for sure if Poole lose this then they need to make changes as the season will ebb away -
How on earth do you blame set ups?? What have none of the Poole boys rode their before?? Kurtz was there not long ago and was flying so he cant have any excuses. Didnt KK win heat one?? You telling me a rider of his experience then didnt know how to set the bike up?? Fricke was beaten by KK and Hans so how can you use the 'set up' excuse for heat 13???? Face facts Poole were poor and you were beaten by a better team.........nothing to do with set ups
-
Well Poole totally tonked never saw that coming! Goes to show that when Klindt is poor it shows up how poor the top 5 are. KK is a bitter disappointment so far. Hans is solid enough and Kurtz is a trier and good to see Holder get involved more. Funny how the usual Poole duo Shovlar and Starman are moaning about the track the atmosphere the racing and trying to deflect things away from just how poor Poole are this season.
