Why oh why are kelvin and nige saying it's great racing. It's an absolute borefest. Racing is processional. The only chance of winning if your not in gate 1 is if AJ Kasprzak or Harris are inside you. I backed Tai but I'm not sure he is quick enough. Zagar or Holder at the moment but I'm expecting a charge from Iversen. Let's hope the racing gets better. Well done Cookie as well winning his first gp heat.

Middlo quite clearly chose the wrong rider in heat 15. Watt was trapping and would have at least got in the way a bit to hold the stars boys up. Strange to choose North over Watt in many people's eyes. Cracking ride by Lambert though I think Magic took it to easy in front riding a conservative line rather than attacking the whole race. Anyway at least the tactical ride didnt decide the meeting. Poole are still the team to beat over 2 legs and unless Lynn replace Bjerre it's only Coventry who can stop them.

Nicki's era was from 2001 onwards which is what we are discussing. Or to be fair 2003 onwards. From 2003 onwards his record is better than anyones bar Crump Above is a snippet from the post i wrote on page 395 I state from 2003 onwards his record is better than anyones bar Crump. Sidney in his bluster said Pedersen didnt dominate riders in his era like Rickardsson Crump Hancock and Gollob I pointed out that the other 3 started a good 7 years before Nicki on the world stage. So looking at the time Nicki rode against the riders Sidney mentioned i would say Pedersen did pretty much dominate his era bar Crump. Who were the best riders in the world from 2002 up to 2010? if your going to spout rubbish then at least back it up! Rickardsson first rode in the 1991 world final. Hancocks was 1993 same as Gollob. Crump first rode in the 1994 world final. Pedersen came on to the world scene in 2001 so a little bit after the others. Since coming on the scene Nicki has won 3 world crowns, Crump 3, Hancock 2, Tony and Gollob 1 each. I would suggest that the only one he didn't dominate in that era was Crump who I consider to be the better rider. But hey don't let facts get in the way of you having a good rant And you say they are all better riders? Rickardsson and Crump yes. The other 2 is open to opinion.

i see you as one of the sensible Poole fans on here. However on this you are wrong. You dont have to be liked to become a legend! Trust me Ronnie O'Sullivan is not liked by many of his professional colleagues but they will all say he is a legend. Nicki Pedersen quite simply is in the list of the top 20 riders who have raced speedway, and i say that as someone who doesnt like him, think he is a dirty rider as well. However that does not detract from his record as one of the greats, someone who has been in the top 10 of world speedway for about 14 years and still riding very well indeed

Kelly Moran died of an illness Sidney. During his speedway career he wasnt ill , he just lived the party life and basically he could have achieved a whole lot more if he dedicated himself to the sport. I have heard numerous stories about Kelly Moran mainly from a good friend of mine who was Mark Lorams mechanic in the late 80's early 90's. He was South African and he has told us some of the things that Kelly got up to whilst in South Africa. It of course is sad he is no longer here but his 'lifestyle' definatly affected what he achieved. I have no issue with Ward , the boy just isn't a nice human being. All the talent in the world but continually fails to show it. After that stunning wildcard appearance in 2011 did you or anyone think we would be midway through 2015 and he isn't in the series and the best he has finished is 8th? Its nothing to do with his riding but his off track activitys.

Its laughable that people compare Nicki and Darcy. Ones been a multi world champion the other had achieved little of note so far. Nicki has been at the top rank of world speedway for over 10 years. Darcy hasn't really managed 1 year so far. Nicki has so much dedication and the correct attitude and Ward is just a troubled fool. As said many times its up to Ward to become a great but he doesn't seem to have the mentality. Ward will be remembered like a Kelly Moran the way he is going.

he was fit last time just couldn't be bothered as hates the place. Rode in Poland then pulled out of the first staging of this meeting but yet was fit enough a few days later to smack in 5 wins in a gp. Call me synical!

I would say Mark Loram was more naturally talented than Darcy If you are looking for the word great in relation to speedway riders than Adams shouldn't be in the top 20.
