i get what people are saying but if Darcy Ward lines up at the tapes in March for the start of the Elite League, Polish Leafue, Swedish league, then i feel he has got off quite lightly

i agree that his previous incidents should not be taken into account. what i disagree with is that it should include the winter months. Darcys main income is from racing in the european leagues , uk, poland and sweden. So that is where he should be banned from competing, not a couple of small eetings in oz , when they basically are over there for a jolly up. I am not one of these people who think he should have a year or 2 year ban i think 6 months is fine. But lets make the 6 months a proper 6 months not back date it to when there was no racing

Absolutly totally irrelevent. He should be banned for whatever the outcome is for failing a breath test its that simple. I personally feel 6 month ban is fine. However no point in that ban being backdated as in effect he missed 2 months of the season. I believe he should be banned for the first 4 months of this season and see him back in July. He basically needs to miss racing otherwise he ban is worthless

your knowledge is quite poor really. Covatti isn't a world beater but can do a good job. Ellis didn't kick on that much last season and if you knew anything you would realise that Ellis missed to many meetings. Even if Covatti only adds a point there was no guarantee Ellis could add more.

If the best means winning titles then yes Poole are the best. If sometimes they are underhand does that still make them the best. And Poole are not the biggest club in British Speedway, that honour is still in my eyes Belle Vue. Its like saying Manchester City are the biggest club in England because they have won recent trophys. They are not as big as Manchester United or Liverpool and Poole although dominating in the noughties will never be as big a club as Belle Vue

Darcy was not allowed to ride in the Latvian gp which was mid august. I do not know the exact date he was suspended from all speedway. I feel he should serve a 6 month ban from European speedway. If you backdate that to August he will have served it by February which is totally wrong. As I said I don't know when he was suspended from but yet again does it hurt him to be banned in November, December, January, February? No it doesn't If they go back to the date of the failed test (August) then he serves 2 months then and the first 4 of this season. I haven't asked for him to be 'hung out to dry' I haven't asked for ' a year or 2 year ban' I believe a ban is correct (as do most people) I believe 6 months is fine What he needs to be banned for is racing, not during winter when all he misses is a few minor meetings in oz. Nobody is disagreeing that the FIM have reacted slowly. This should have been dealt with far quicker. The fact remains he deserves a ban. The length is up for discussion. Personally i would say 6 months but not backdated. What is laughable is that because we say he needs a ban we are anti poole or anti Darcy. Its just pathetic from the usual suspect. not what im saying mate. Ward needs a ban the length of which will be up for discussion. What i am trying to get at is that he shouldnt be dealt with leniently compared to others as he happens to be in the worlds top ten or because he entertains. He should be treated the same as a national league rider would be in the same circumstances

I think that a heat leader trio of Morris , Summers, and Lawson with Kozza as second string is stronger than King Tungate Gino and Cam. All about opinions though
