Hagon is a 2 pointer so what are you expecting from him -

… The Cook brothers , Lawson and Brennan carry the team…. Most of your away wins are because one of Hagon or Thomsen has had a blinder and scored way above their average especially Hagon early on …. Now that Hagon and Thomsen are scoring their average then Poole will struggle when the top boys don’t get double figures -

Pooles team is built top heavy with 4 heat leaders so when that top 4 don’t score 40 Poole will struggle Joke to blame Hagon and the reserves they will never score loads that’s not how the team is built …. The cook brothers scored 7 each and that’s not enough to win a match -

Sheffield v Ipswich 8th August
Gavan replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Everyone has wished Emil well suggest you try reading it And yes the actions of Jack last night were awful so quite rightly he is getting stick from all supporters not just Ipswich fans and no he wasn’t to blame for the crash And your ‘track’ argument is frankly pathetic Ipswich isn’t the best racing track and that’s my club and I can admit that Sheffield usually provides better racing …. But last night the track staff made no attempt to blade the dirt back off of the high line …. Chris Holder backed off because he was stuck out there … Emil didn’t as he was trying to win the meeting …. Some on here have said the track is dangerous but I don’t agree with that but last night they should have done more to make the track safer that was obvious from an early stage -

Absolutely he wasn’t to blame …. But his actions all night was shocking -

I have wished him all the best on other forums … he is a Foxhall legend and has been the best rider in the league for 2 seasons and has been behind other top riders coming back over including Tai Sorry to have rattled your cage but most posts on here from non Ipswich fans will tell you what people think of him ….. got beat fair and square and refused to shake hands then wants to go and have words after Emils crash … sorry the bloke is a tool……. And yes it doesn’t shock me that some of your fans were shouting at Emil after the crash …. I witnessed first hand how some ( not all ) Sheffield supporters can be and it’s not pleasant ….. so please forgive me that I would rather any club then Sheffield win the league And if I have to say it again to appease you all the best to our star man and a breath of fresh air to. British speedway hope he is back this season -

Don’t dare slag off the Sheffield fans … I saw first hand my friends 8 year old daughter subjected to vile abuse last seasons Not blaming Holder one bit for the crash …. But his reaction earlier in the meeting was childish and then to try and have a word with Emil after the crash is awful behaviour Praying that our season isn’t over -

Piled all the dirt up against the fence and stopped Emil dead in his tracks …. Shocking -

This just shows we shouldn’t be worried about Sheffield … no number one and his rides get only 5…… and the Holder brothers can’t ride Foxhall and are usually shown up by Pickering who gives 110% every time at our place Win or lose tonight I’m more worried about Belle Vue then Sheffield -

Jack Holder …. What a spoilt brat ….. what with him his brother and Tai it’s has to be the most whingiest team in the league ….. Go find your dummy Jack -
Racing is better by a long way in the prem so don’t be daft Did you prefer seeing Holder and Ward or Lawson and Brennan and that’s not being disrespectful to either of those two Poole won the top league many times and the racing back then was far superior than now though to be fair I do enjoy watching Ben Cook

Poole Pirates Vs Glasgow Tigers 31/7/24
Gavan replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Oh they will it will be the best meeting ever Poole fans only care about winning they don’t care if it’s all from the gate and racers can’t make a pass like Cook and Harris have shown tonight that when you’re behind you stay behind … Poole are dialled in to the track and the set up .. makes the gate can’t be caught … yawn -

Gavan replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
The most boring gate and go track there is hence why Lawson does well Ben Cook far better rider than Ivacic and Flint and couldn’t do a thing to get past as the track is so boring follow the leader Just got to gate and race over … hope no Glasgow fans went to watch its poor to see a track prepared this badly in the uk -
When Ipswich dropped down we didn’t win anything the racing was poor and people lost interest … also when we dropped down the Poole fans were quick to ridicule and mock as they had top riders Poole are ok where they are winning … if they struggle the fans simply don’t support
-
It’s not rocket science that the top league is better to watch racing Ipswich dropped down and the racing was poor and boring but this season we have seen Emil Doyle Lindgren Bewley Kurtz Fricke to name but a few and you would rather see that then Lawson and Craig Cook lol By all means enjoy the second tier but don’t spout rubbish about the standard being comparable Saying who wants to see Emil v a rising star …. Well in that race Emil could be against Jack Holder at Sheffield with Jenkins and Gilkes what a race in prospect … better by a mile then Lawson Foord Craig Cook and McGurk lol

That Poole team should have won much easier than that can’t believe it went to a last heat … a team no real heat leaders apart form Harris when Poole effectively have 4 heat leaders but only win by 2 Poole to win the league at a canter but they make hard work of it -
King’s Lynn vs Sheffield - 29.07.24
Gavan replied to StarBoy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Emil and Jack similar Ellis better than Howarth Chris will do well to match what King did Pickering better than Dan T Ipswich reserves better R/R got 10 for Ipswich would a guest do better? I don’t think Sheffield are a better side than Ipswich though not much in it -

In no way did Poole cheat what they did in making sure they brought in a tac sub is what I hoped my management would do I think people get annoyed at the foolishness of certain Poole fans who think they were up against or after losing Foord and then the engine failure ……Poole won because they lost Foord and had the engine failure both were a huge help in them winning .. if Foord hadn’t have been injured then Poole may still have won The only way they have cheated is if Foord was fit but had no bikes something that can’t be proved -

Exactly Yes lol but didn’t … your point is? Do Poole fans actually watch speedway first Shovlar doesn’t know the rules then says the loss of Foord made it tough lol Would you rather have Hagon take 7 rides or have Foord take 3 of those ?? Erm easy answer that one And then this tac sub issue … Poole were 6 down going into heat 11 up against an unbeaten King …… if Poole had a heat advantage in heat 11 they couldn’t have had a tac sub in heat 12 against a weaker pairing of Gilkes and Mulford It made sense for Poole to get a 3-3 in heat 11….. that’s tactics and absolutely no issue with that but blimey it’s difficult for some Poole fans to understand lol -

Losing Foord meant Hagon scored 3 from his rides which is a 6 point swing for Poole And then the engine failure meant Poole could make a tac sub Best side in the league Poole and sometimes the good sides get all the luck
