I will have some of what you are smoking please Belle Vue top 5 combined averages 32.8 Sheffield top 5 - 34.59 Swindon top 5 - 36.02 And if Ipswich use there whole 7.93 left then they will have a top 5 of 33.87 By all means think that Belle Vue will do well..........but to say they have the top 5 by a country mile..........is a country mile out
-
Swindon with a very strong top 4 But if you look at it they have replaced Musi and Vissing ( i would say good for 12 points a meeting) with Stewart and Rowe (7 points a meeting in my opinion) so are definitely weaker. Us at Ipswich have (if believed) Holder for Iversen.........Klindt for Harris........Covatti for Lawson.........Ayres for Sarjeant..........i believe we are stronger Wolves have simply replaced Howarth with Nicol............if Becker keeps improving they will be in contention Belle Vue have strength in depth but a lot will depend on their underperforming top 2............... Sheffield look strong on paper but with question marks Peterborough look better and Kings Lynn average On that basis i will go 1. Ipswich 2. Wolves 3. Swindon 4. Sheffield 5. Belle Vue 6. Peterborough 7. Kings Lynn

Do yourself a favour little boy and keep your mouth shut............
-
I was merely saying that i dont think Worrall and King have much improvement in them.....and that neither rider was wanted that much by their respected premiership fans Pooles 2020 top 3 is decent ive not said otherwise ah bless you......school holidays i guess......so you go for personal attacks......nice level of intellect..........christmas will be lovely with my partner and my children but thanks awfully for your concern I haven thats the funny thing, i said they will make the play offs They are just a tad touchy and challenged if you dont feel they are the best Championship fans are in for a treat.....
-
All i will say is thank you for a reasoned and thought out response Shame that other supporters are to uneducated or thick to actually come back with a sensible post
-
I dont believe King and Worrall will improve their averages much is my opinion..........there is a reason why fans of both Ipswich and Belle Vue werent that bothered if either returned............Worrall may improve slightly riding at number 3 Do averages lie? I agree Ellis has the potential to improve his but the facts are in black and white.........5 teams have a stronger top 3 on averages then Poole Ive said Poole will make the play offs...............must remember to say they will win the league.............
-
Nope i said Somerset were on a par......... I would say there will be nothing between Kings and Schleins average at the end of the season..thats my opinion Im bemused why you think its a dig..................fact is fact and Pools top 3 are the 6th strongest on averages......its not up for a discussion What is up for discussion is wether the teams with a better top 3 (by averages) will maintain those averages................... My opinion is that out of Pooles heat leaders Ellis will go up.............King will go down or maintain.......and Worrall a small improvement...............its called an opinion
-
Its not a wind up .......Somersets top 3 have a total of 24.49.........Pooles is 23.63.........Schlein and King on a par and Barker and Worrall the same. Do i think BWD will match Ellis? Unlikely.... Jeez unless you say Poole are the best in every department everyone is up in arms Facts are that there are 5 teams with a stronger top 3 on averages.......King and Worrall wont improve much if any and Ellis will improve........... Must remind myself to say that Poole are always the best...........
-
But based on averages there are better heat leader trios thats all im saying. Ellis is a good signing but King isnt likely to improve his average and Worrall could because simply he will be riding at number 3. Redcar for example have the best heat leader trio by some way in my opinion and i would also say Somerset and possibly Leicester are at least on a par with Poole But as i said its how the rest of the team is built
-
1. Redcar 2. Leicester 3. Glasgow 4. Somerset 5. Poole 6. Eastbourne 7. Kent 8. Edinburgh 9. Berwick 10. Scunthorpe 11. Birmingham 12. Newcastle I know not every team is complete but just for fun
-
Poole team looks likely to make the play offs but the top 3 on paper are only the 6th best heat leader trio Eastbourne, Edinburgh, Leicester, Redcar and Somerset all have a stronger top 3 based on averages I know its not just the heat leaders that bring titles but people saying Poole have a strong top 3 are right , but there is stronger for sure I dont see much improvement in King and Worrall but for sure Ellis is a great signing Poole should make it into the play offs and then who knows from there
-
Unless you go to a play off semi final with a 10 point lead......at a track you had won at twice previously.......and see your riders just not bother.............you started a lot better than you finished last season But then again for once Poole made shocking signings that cost them the league
-
His average has dropped in both leagues for the last 2 seasons Granted he had a bad injury and granted this season he may well start at number 3..................that means in theory he could see an increase as he meets the opposing number 3 twice instead of the opposing number one twice.............but as i said i dont see much improvement from King or Worrall and i think King in particular will struggle to maintain his average..............just my opinion............i also think Ellis is a must have and ive no doubt in my mind he will be Pooles number one
-
Redcar look the team to beat.............top 3 head and shoulders above any other sides....Stewart could kick on this season......Andersen solid enough If the reserves do ok then the team to beat in my eyes Poole will be strong enough and their big home advantage will steer them in to the play offs depending on if they sign Ellis , if not i cant see much improvement from King and Worrall Leicester and Glasgow to make the top 4
-
We all know that the top riders dont ride here but its not about who is your number one its about team building to a strength Last year we had Harris as our number one............we made the play offs where as teams with a genuine number one didnt like Kings Lynn and Belle Vue Its about balance and if Klindt starts at one then if the rest of the team is solid it wouldnt be an issue For example what pair of signings would provide the most points....Iversen/Ayres............Klindt/Covatti
-
So when Poole cheat/bend the rules its totally fine as long as they dont gain from it lol
-
Who is now though I wouldnt expect to many to be above Holder if he did ride over here whoever that would be for Doyle and maybe Batchelor at Swindon Lambert possibly as well Also Pedersen but i would say him and Holder are similar level I dont see the likes of Kurtz or Cook or Masters averaging more than Holder
-
This whole debate has started because certain Poole fans couldnt accept that i think Brady could benefit from a move away In some fans eyes no rider can benefit leaving Poole....once you have ridden for them thats the pinnacle of club speedway..... What has been missed is that i also said some riders improve for going to Poole........Klindt being the most recent and obvious one I also said i feel Lambert could be going stale at Lynn and likewise to a lesser extent Masters at Wolves.............Lambert going to say Belle Vue could see his racing move up to the next level
-
1. Holder/Iversen/Zagar 2. Allen 3. Heeps 4. King 5. Klindt 6. Covatti 7. Ayres Wouldnt mind that side although we would still suffer some harsh away defeats
-
Musielek and Holder? Unlikely surely
-
If all the speculation is true then we know 6 of the team 1. 2. Allen 3. Heeps 4. King 5. Klindt 6. Covatti 7. Ayres No idea what that leaves?
-
Allen, Heeps or King? To garner interest i would hope its Klindt
-
What a pointless debate Some riders improve for moving away from certain clubs as they become stale at that club and are stuck in a rut so to speak Kurtz is a rider that could benefit from a change of club in my opinion Klindt could actually go the other way as he was obviously happy with everything at Poole (hope not as he seems to be coming to us at Ipswich) Its not aimed at Poole but some Poole fans cant quite grasp that........riders will have improved for moving away from Poole ....and some riders will improve for a move to Poole...
-
Marks best 2 seasons were 1999 and 2000 when riding for Poole..shame it ended the way it did.... Rickardsson had already won 3 world titles before joining Poole but did win 2 more in Poole colours......his dominance for me was 1998-2005 and i dont think it mattered where he rode Some riders will just fit in at certain clubs.........my opinion is that Brady could blossom by moving away
-
Stop being a tad pathetic Klindts career has soared since he joined Poole..its what happens sometimes I think Kurtz will benefit from a move away from Poole Some riders will benefit from a move to Poole Hope that helps jesus
