  1. Every rider is also entitled to a guest some go to the stands some watch it from the viewing area some even have 2 mechanics in the pits with them ,second halfers also in there with a mechanic also people that sponsor the meetings sometimes also go down to the pits to watch it from there you even have loads of ex riders other clubs officials in there its the same in every pit you go too really ,berwick are one of the clubs that the riders park outside and HAVE to sign in at the gate Edinburgh also do but you do see some people paying at the back gate there The clubs that lose out the most are the ones where they drive into the pits and only sign in at the gate with loads hiding in the back When we went to Somerset for a second half ride the rider and mechanic got in free and anybody else had to pay £10 which was ok for us they even opened the back of the van to see if we have any stowaways lol
  2. Can’t see a number 1 agreeing to ride for the same points as a reserve
  3. New house should be build with so much sound proofing when the windows are closed you won't hear a thing
  4. Lewis whitmore and Tom Spencer signed for Cradley according to speedway star
  5. The once that you tried him he was going really well till his carash I am pretty sure he will become a better rider when he is somewhere he wants to be
  6. Just look at this year mildenhall were walking it till playoffs a few injuries and it’s over there’s a few solid teams that if stay injury free could all be in the mix
  7. Yes Edinburgh were looking for a reserve and had invited riders that were interested to there press day and Dan got the spot
  8. Dan was a young BYMX champion and never rode a speedway bike in his life until he started getting a bit of coaching from Steve Lawson around the October after the mx season finished and started racing the following year he was just a natural kid with great bike skills that had a great coach
  9. Would go for something like jan gravesen 4.62 and mark Riss 4.84 =9.46
  10. Sunday’s and some Saturdays when the lions don’t have. Meeting
  11. Think if s lot of riders lived further south you would have had a lot more to choose from shame it’s so far away
  12. Having watched Luke every NL meeting this season he will do ok had good meeting beating heatleaders then could struggle against reserves and depending what the tracks like if grippy like some meetings this year then he might struggle but l think the Somerset reserves are the least experienced and weakest and wouldn’t say luke was any better than the Glasgow reserves joes ave is only low because his equipment let him down a good few times this season so will need to get that sorted for next season and if chessals comes back fit he will be better than most 2 pointers
  13. Luke lives in Ely in Norfolk moved down there last year and don't think he rode there this year and will depend on how they set the track up next year if it was like this year really grippy he and a few of the new team will struggle
  14. Their still trying to work it out and it will take till January to get it nearly right before changing it again lol
  15. Jamie only done 2 meetings for IOW and didn’t get a average
  16. he will be back at belle vue if you know him he is a practical joker and has everybody thinking as you can see a distorted green and yellowish logo in the top corner
  17. Would put the Somerset reserves as the weakest so far not a lot of nl experience between them really also will depend how fit Luke chessals is come March he is a better riders than most of the 2 pointers that have teams already and Joe Lawlor on decent equipment will do ok having watched him a good few times in the nl this year it’s a shame the amount of times his bike chucked it while miles in front at Belle Vue and with cookie helping them it can’t be bad but as the old saying goes “to finish first you have to finish first “
  18. Last couple of meetings were great they had terry the track man working on it before meetings and keeping it well watered throughout the meeting and as far as I know he will be the main man there next year
  19. Here we go again they were on silly money vans chucked in payed mechanics unless you can do more than you heard it's hearsay
  20. They tried for a lot of top nl riders for reserves but they did not want to travel up here on a Friday some dew to parents working and others that would be riding way down south over the weekend and too much traveling if it was Saturday or Sunday the first few they asked would have jumped at the chance and just think jack was fed up with the traveling and why travel another 6 hours for extra £5-10 a point luke has always done well when he guested for us and will be ok against the other 2 point riders and think Joe will be a lot better than folk make out if his equipment is up to scratch
  21. http://www.stoke-speedway.com/news.php?extend.1207 luke priest signs stoke looking pretty strong
  22. You think riders sign as a asset for free no chance they will get a hefty signing on fee probably even more than the loan fee for a rider
