No holes just the base beginning to show through where they come in and turn on the fastest line into the bends the leaders always hit that part every lap then when they hit the shale again the bike picks up but some riders can use it to there advantage but if you try to miss it you could end up going from first to last pretty quickly they have been working on both corners now for weeks but with the weather being too good and still they don't seem to be able to get the track to settle ,doc Bridgett was in this week and abvised them to use a clay mix rather than just packing in shale as it would bind better with the base so here's hoping for a better meeting this Friday ,having it in the evening will also help

Sarj was meant to replace jack in ht 14 but because starky pulled out jack was back in and the confusion was who was replacing who but between the manager and the COC who tells the ref what’s happening with rider changes could or should have sorted it before both riders went on track

Riders have their favourite engines for certain tracks and seem to know when they start to lose power around 30-35 hts sometimes less and sends them to get serviced and when they come back some never seem to be the same new parts can cause this Richie dropped a valve in his fav engine which basically means you chuck the top end of the engine in the bin around £1700 later he gets it back with all new top end and it is not like what it was before it went bang sends it back after telling his tuner where it lacks power he tweaks it and hopfully it’s better next week

That’s also the same problem with Richie,s engine he just got his engine back after it loosing power at Berwick last week and seems to be a bit flat tried a few changes but nothing seemed to work

Why not do what Edinburgh did and doing again this year and do a Nl Northern Cumbrian open invite decent Nl riders for this end of the country charge a tenner to get in as these riders don't demand top money like top riders want they just want to race their bikes and you will get some decent races

Would love to see Speedway back at Brandon but The thing is it’s BE,s property and they might not let anybody near the place no matter how many tradesmen there is because you can be sure that when the council knock back the planning they will go straight to appeal which will take another year and the stadium will get in a more state of disrepair which will help in there next plannning application
