I think Steve S is being pretty fair and honest in his assessment of the team this season, so far.

Because Matt Ford won't take that chance which is one of the reasons Poole are so succesful.

I am not one for coming on the forum moaning about the direction speedway is going and it's demise as I really don't think it helps the sport but honestly, what is happening when we have the reigning EL Champions tracking an ex GP rider at reserve and a team that finished one point off the bottom last season tracking a rider at No4 that was Pooles reserve last season?!!!!

I think the point being made here is that the presenters do not usually have consent to say anything they like in comments such as this - I think you will find the producers call the shots in this regard.

Just ignore him Steve - it is pointless getting into an argument with him!

Agreed, there is no way an agreement would have made without the Cllr Stokes intervention and the existing promoter being agreeable. He amy or not be the promoter next season but at least he has helped ensure Coventry Speedway continues at least in the short term.

Quite a few people who live near the coast never go to the beach. I have sister who lives near Verwood and she hasn't been to the beach for many years but does go on holidays to other coastal towns!

Just going to ask the same question. No rider wants to have a bad night - points wise. And I don't 'buy' this lowering their average rubbish. Having sponsored riders over the years, I have seen how riders can be so down after a meeting and very hard on themselves so I just don't believe it!

Expect an easy win for the Pirates tonight. Can't see Bellego scoring much. He only scored 7+1 from 5 last night on his home track. Roynon is a slight improvement on Sarj. Pedersen is usually good round Brandon IIRC so I would be surprised if he scores less than 10!
