Transfer the franchise to Ashfield and resurrect the Giants....? To be honest this is a big concern of mine too. There is precious little encouraging pathway for junior Scottish speedway talent. In the NDL crowd levels are a secondary concern.

Let's not call a spade a gardening implement. Home team A wants to run 15 heats to theoretically build up as much of a lead as possible. Away team B wants as few heats ran to theoretically limit their deficit. You can put any and all teams in the league for A and B. Each and every one of them. Fact. It's not cheating it's professionalism. It's naive to call it anything else.

I was at the track and can confirm it was dusty right from the off. To be fair I've been at Ashfield when it's been dustier. I'm 100% convinced that if the meeting had been squeezed to Heat 10 then Poole would have wanted it called.

Generally I would agree but all visiting riders and visiting fans will be well on their way I think we'll only call it off at 6 or even a bit after. I think I read all our riders were having a team bonding meal last night and everyone was staying over.

According to update on FB and twitter the meeting is on at the mo.

It's a shame this won't happen. It would be fine for me, preferable in fact, but they won't make this change at this short notice. This is looking very unlikely.......

As a Glasgow fan I am very sorry to see the Edinburgh score. Not a worthy way to bow out of Armadale, with its vast vast history of success. When I think back to my first visits to Armadale I think of the imperious Peter Carr. Hopefully they do have a future, the promotion and fans are out of the top drawer!

You appear to be fixated with the fact that it's a Labour council. Does that have anything to do with it? Decisions made, irrespective of the political persuasion of those making the decision. BTW I'm not a Labour voter.

What is the capacity of Belle Vue with additional temporary seating?

The whole of the lower tier wasn't closed off. We were sitting there! First twenty rows were covered in tarp for debris. It's very convenient to get in and out sitting there but it's not the best viewing point as you only see the rider's helmets for about a quarter of the track. We're usually middle tier third bend and I think we'll head back there next time.

I heard "just the middle tier" being open tomorrow from the MC. Is that all the way around, or just one stand....?
