and full of 'bullrubbish'. Listening to him most Elite League weeks try and convince us it was a great meeting, when it was really woeful is starting to grate too. You watch Sky football and if it was a dire woeful 0-0 match the pundits and commentators generally have the balls to say so.

Oh get real.. You're someone who doesn't do much physical exercise then? Sometimes you might feel fit, but until you get out there and push yourself, only then do you realise you're not quite where you thought you were. Instead why not question why Kings Lynn's own rider was not there... surely British CLubs should not take any rider on where another league takes priority. How this dire product can be still called 'Elite League' is beyond me. Cancelled Sky 2 weeks ago, speedway was the only thing keeping me on Sky but so bored with Elite League I see no reason to keep it.

Well anyone that can call the wrong GP winner a few seasons back would be worthy of the moron tag! And it wasn't Kelvin (who I like for the record).

That's the point Tai mouthed off but as not explained the reasons for his tantrum.

To be fair. English is not the first language for many of the riders interviewed on Sky/BT Sport... (I include the Aussie's in that )

It's not 'just' the forum though. Tai's made some rather silly, unprofessional comments on Twitter so far, basically throwing his toys out of the pram. Until I see a thought out argument and explanation about why he's taking a year out, then for me and others he will always be the guy that turned his back on the national side, on the country that gave him a chance in speedway.

So Pearson wishes multiple injured rider well tonight (fair enough), each one took all of 10 seconds, but for some reason (unless I missed it) he/they could not find time to wish Charlie well for some reason. Really disappointing.

Is he the same age as Greg Hancock at all? I don't know why I know that.

Every time Peter Adams is interviewed on Sky I end up asking what planet is this guy on. Talk about tunnel vision.

Nah, he does it every match, same with the Elite League. For some reason he thinks we need to be told that the fans are loving the action. To be fair, he perhaps needs to tell us with the dross served up on the Elite League most weeks (which is why I have cancelled Sky Sports), but last night the TV audience didn't need telling, we could all see for our own eyes how good the action was.

It's a puzzler isn't it?Tai is a great rider, but if he wanted to do more for British speedway to help young British riders achieve more that would be very admirable, but he's going a funny way about it. The same people defending him are most likely the same one's defending Hancock's lame excuse of giving US youngsters a chance at Belle Vue!

But last night the racing talked for itself, we didn't need it screamed at us, we could all see it. The same with the stupid comments he makes about 'the fans are loving this, they're going wild' which then pans to one or two smiling or clapping fans. Always reminds me of that scene from Escape to Victory where the German football commentators have to mask the crown displeasure at German's scoring by putting on crowd cheering tapes.

That's what annoys me with one or two of the Aussie riders. They seem to forget that for the majority their career was started and made in the UK, yet are quite happy to take pop at British speedway and fans.

Superb racing.... once again spoiled by the shouty one who today was virtually in screaming mode.

I fear this is how promotors view the forum, some sensible but most considered 'non-sensible'. Ok so not everyone will agree all of the time, but it does not mean that promotors should not listen and take on board both sides of the discussion. To simply ignore the discussion simply because people disagree is very short sighted. If your dismissive view is indicative of how promoters think then I am glad I am now an outsider. Ok not all the things of yesteryear speedway will fit in a modern sport, but that's not to say peoples views can not still be considered. Pushing the tapes is one great example, ok that was allowed in the past, but right now there is an ongoing tapes issue that is not resolved with modern speedway, so why not look back at yesteryear and see if that worked any better. If riders are allowed to touch the tapes, then we will have less false starts, less jumping, but does it lead to less false starts/call backs? Worth asking the question and answering... not just dismissing. Reading your post you are dismissive of all speedway fans who are no longer regular attendees. I really hope promotors don't take that view, because these are people with an interest in speedway who could be enticed back with a good product. Surely attracting new customers/fans with an interest in the sport is easier than attracting new customers who don't know the sport?

I do hope though that in addition to dismissing trolls they do take on board some of the constructive criticism about our sport. easy to dismiss the forum as moaning fans, but most on here are also customers.

But he keeps qualifying or getting selected. Sure it would be nice to see Emil (I agree with Shovlar, over-rated) but I will like to see that proven on the track but here's the thing, Emil didn't want to ride the GPs. So we can not knock those that choose to qualify.

That's how I feel. I was a fan of Tai, I respect him for his charity work and love his racing. But that does not mean we should blindly support him. I don't agree with him turning his back on British Speedway and dropping/using us at the drop of a hat. Thick or thin, stick behind us and try and change things from within.
