  1. I just took a look at the Ward Twitter page and some of the comments from his last post about it. With the guy surrounded by so many sycophants from manager to fans posting silly messages like this it is no wonder the guy constantly goes wrong.
  2. Taking the Middlo line hey? I blame the idiot who turned up at a World Championship race meeting allegedly over the limit. I got done for speeding at 95mph on the M25 in November (sods law, can't normally move at all on that stretch) and I now face a court hearing, but I am still waiting for the court date leaving me dangling over fines, higher insurance premiums and possible suspension. I can sit here blaming the police and the courts in Kent for making me wait.... or I can sit here and blame myself for being a twit and driving too fast. At the end of the day I was in the wrong, so my fault. The same with Ward, the delays and situation are HIS fault and could have all been avoided.
  3. if someone other than Middlo wrote it, would you still say it is not unprofessional?
  4. He is allowed to state his case, but what he wrote was unprofessional in my opinion, in fact much of his Twitter comments appear to be unprofessional.
  5. What makes you so sure it will be any different THIS time? Middlo mouthing off again on Twitter... and to this this bloke was once the manager of our national team.
  6. Seriously.. are you trying to defend the plank?
  7. Wasted their talent the first thing I think of.
  8. The other common factor is everytime Ward messed up, Middlo would come out with some stupid comment, seemingly defending the undefencable.
  9. So what is he saying there, that testing for alcohol is the right thing to do, but he hopes his mate gets let off?
  10. The more I read and hear from this guy the more I think the Middlo should be changed to Muppet. What he should have typed is 'That bloody stupid Ward for putting us in this position and making us have to wait for so long'.
  11. This is why non Poole fans dislike the Poole Mafia so much. Enough is enough? How about blaming Ward himself for bringing all this on himself and his clubs?
  12. Could Ward take any action though, because by his own admission he had a few drinks, so even if there is a flaw could Ward use that to take legal action? You would like to hope if he did get off on a technicality he would think himself bloody lucky and focus on getting his career back on track.
  13. Fine, but the fact 2,315 support him means idiot all if 4,000 people think he is a total dick for drinking so close to a GP.
  14. Unless the same site also includes a vote for how many are not supporting Darcy then your point is not really worth much. Still, at least we now know how many Poole fans are out there, 2,315 by the looks of it
  15. I think those people have a name... sycophants.
  16. I have been away from here for a bit, so to save trawling through hundreds of pages when is Ward's hearing?
  17. Some interesting points from the BSPA meeting, and some moves in the right direction. However, I don't see any kind of long term planning to bring the sport back towards greatness. We have these BSPAS meetings year-after-year, either reactionary to the preceding seasons failures, or plans for the year or two ahead but with no long term planning in place long term to improve the sport, or to help clubs become more financial viable.
  18. So, you have run out of valid arguments to debate with me, you resort to this. The FACT is we can blame the FIM, the world for hating him but the only person to blame is himself, is that not a FACT?
  19. You have been sitting on poorly run committee's then. The Chair's role is guiding the committee and where the committee is split, will have a casting vote.
  20. I guess the morale of the story is the rider should not have been drinking in the first place to cause this FIM delay and thus causing such impact on his clubs across Europe.
  21. (http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/speedway/piratesnews/11603871.Speedway__Darcy_Ward_s_waiting_game__immoral__says_Poole_Pirates_boss_Matt_Ford/) For once I do partially agree with Ford that it is unfair on the clubs that the ban/suspension is pending, they need to plan ahead, and I guess so does Ward too. Not sure 'immoral' is the right word though. Where I question this article is this part: Surely the point is that when tested, Ward was over the limit and was due to be on track in that state. So I am not sure what Ford means by this?
  22. Oh dear, it must be so difficult always being the victims. Darcy Ward has just one single person to blame, that is himself. Although the Darcy Ward sycophants perhaps need to ask themselves questions too.
  23. Well maybe you should ask yourself why people want him punished. What was it Mario wrote on his t-shirt a few years ago? 'Why always me?'
  24. I have never driven under the influence, no. But that is hardly the point, the topic is about Darcy Ward, is that your only defence to the points I made? Scraping the bottom of the barrel there! Exactly. These comments published yesterday don't seem to suggest anybody in Dorset have learned a bloody thing. http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/11601293.Darcy_Ward__Speedway_ban_so_hard_to_take_but_Poole_Pirates_are_pulling_me_through/ Had they been harder on him a couple of years ago when the previous problems occurred, maybe we would not be here now. Ha, you are some kind of idiot to moan about the number of posts. This is a DISCUSSION forum, hence the number of posts and comments on a topical discussion in our sport.
