I thought it was the Ipswich management who were wrong. Could they not have had a guest for Sedgmen due to him being in a FIM meeting half way round the world (or does that only apply to British riders?). If that had been the case they could then have had IRR for Danny in the second leg.I don't think there can be an argument for a guest in the first leg at Peterborough.

He would have had to qualify for the final though. If he had a bad round in the qualifiers then he wouldn't have made the final.

Did Lambert not win the Pairs at the beginning of the season? Think he has missed 5 though if you include the British Championship. Is this not the 2nd or 3rd time he has been ill this season?

Why not say he is withholding his services so he gets a 28 day ban and you can then have a guest. Is that not the best solution or is he racing for Newcastle in the pairs?

So Glasgow race their first KOC match in the last month of the season (quarter final). Will need good weather so the competition has a winner.

Why did the ref not just award the race?

Have the teams that got byes completed a tie yet (some teams are finished for the season).There will need to be cut off dates next season to stop teams taking the _____.

I thought the KOC was a start of the season comp. Ipswich were through on 1st April, Sheffield on 1st June (2 months later) and the others still to sort the ties out.I say make Ipswich the winners as the rest of the teams didn't complete the ties at the beginning of the season.

He can show a photo of his flight tickets etc to show he intended to race tonight and then people won't be able to say he's taking the mic key (especially since he is very disappointed).

Seems strange that the Premiership riders championship is on the last weekend before the Championship cut off date, the National riders championship is on the last weekend before the national league cut off date (and the same day as the Championship riders meeting).

Have to agree. Only a dozen or so riders better than him going by averages. He is also 1 of six riders with a 10 point average at home this season.

The promotion/relegation playoff is the 9th and 11th October so I would think sometime between next weekend and then depending on race nights of the teams.

Why not go with Monday and Wednesday as no Championship club has these night's as their designated race night.Could they not have held the Premiership riders Championship this Monday coming on BT Sport instead of holding it on a Saturday just before the Championship cut-off date (a night probably when the play-off contenders will be decided.

Why not have the NL rider twist his ankle on the parade?He then doesn't have to fall off and you can then have IRR for heat 1 also.
