I think Tai was harshly excluded. Greg was the same at Cardiff and didn't get excluded. At FIM events the start marshal will be told what to do (that's usually why they look up to the referee before they walk away). Should the riders not be pulled up from gate 1- gate 4? Inconsistent refereeing isn't new to the sport as Greg was excluded for not racing a couple of years ago but Joe Screen wasn't at Bydgoszcz when he let Mark Loram passed. (Mark would have been eliminated in the format if he wasn't second). Was it not also a British referee who excluded Tony R when he had a coming together with Mark and with Steffan Danno with Tony falling on both occasions?

Have you never complained about the Berwick track? Did you not report about Ricky Wells after Berwick winning earlier in the season. I could probably look back and see. Seem to recall Berwick just getting on with it at Armadale when most thought it was dodgy starting (didn't think there was much difference between that night and the night at Berwick at the start of the season which was off). Berwick also just got on with it at Ipswich so I assume Berwick are not one of the teams that "could do with a bit of the same". I recall when Craig broke the Berwick track record it was to grippy also.

Good to see Tero not to badly hurt after Thursday night. Did Robo come off at Glasgow? -

I thought it was changed to heat 10 (the season after Kyle and Lee Complin crashed in heat 10 at Workington v Berwick). I won't be back again this season (won't make the Edinburgh v Berwick match either). Good luck with the rest of your season and hope others follow your lead. -
It doesn't really help with most of the riders having about a 3 week gap between fixtures. Why was the deadline extended as Berwick and Sheffield showed that the league meetings could be done and dusted by the end of August if you run against GP's, World Cup's etc (Berwick even stepped in to host an extra meeting when others were unable to host). It seems to be the same teams every year that seems to drag their heels with the fixtures. We had a great summer when teams decided not to race
-
I have to agree. Berwick and Sheffield were the same in that they finished in August. Teams make excuses to move the cut off date and all it does is affect the teams that get on with the league meetings. It is mostly the same teams every year that drags the season out.

Is that how it works? I had in my head that it was only taken to heat 10 (or wherever you got a result) so you would get £8 off admission? -
He was doing ok there in the abandoned meeting. Think if the match had went on Berwick would have got something from the meeting (more than in the replay) as the reserves looked pretty dominant. Was also not the usual Ricky. With regards to the possible double header you should ask your promoter (mr Blobby). I think it was in the Evening news about it going to be a double header but with some clubs wanting the cut off date put back it made sense to put the Berwick match back a couple of weeks (no one wants to run a double header unless there are no other options).

Sheffield won the pairs at Sheffield last year. Spud must be close to being in the lineup this year. -
Good performance from Busk which is more than can be said about his captain in heat 15.

Should be. He also missed Berwick (due to family illness?). -

Speak nicely to Berwick. You could maybe borrow the covers, a better team manager and a team that is not much worse than yours (able to get 3 points from Edinburgh without them scoring a point) going on the plus and minus scoring. -
That's the one. Thanks for the info as others thought it was Adrian and I was convinced it was Claus. Cheers to Allan.
-
Can anyone remember if Claus Vissing scored back to back home paid maximums (think 2014)? Had a discussion and I thought he did it in a double header with Newcastle/ Someone else because I think David Bellego was only beat once in the two matches as well. Know Ricky Ashworth scored a max at Scunny and a max at home to Newcastle in his first two matches for us in 2012.

No probem with Cook but do you have any idea why Workington's top rider isn't in the field? It must be on the current green sheet averages as at present Aaron is above Kevin Doolan. If he has chose to miss the meeting along with the fours then I don't think he should be allowed to ride in our league next season. -
I thought when Dennis was going through the list it wasn't official it was just how it stood at that particular time. Thanks for the info.
-
Has the riders championship line-up been decided yet or will it be decided on the September averages? I see on the rolling averages up to last night Aaron is top by 0.04. If the September averages are used then it could be all to race for tonight between the top two to represent the Bandits at Sheffield.

If you take Jake Allan's home average (+5%) you could fit any Berwick rider in and he is 5th in your averages. I think that's probably the reason Berwick has strong reserves as Scunny has a lot more top end strength and Berwick has a lot stronger reserves (Berwick has just over 2 points between 1-7 and Scunny has over 6.5 points). -

Aaron and David swapped round (SGB Twitter). -
It said something about the last regular league meeting of the season on Facebook. Maybe the promotion are looking to see if we have a chance of making the playoffs before deciding if there are any more meetings?
-
Not sure if he would. He didn't race enough meetings to alter his average and with Rye meetings being removed he would sign on his converted average as in theory he didn't race any meetings in the top flight. Most matches he raced in were as a temp signing for Stuart Robson or as a guest The others had averages and have signed on the last average they had (all except Kasprzak are lower than what they started the season on presumably to make it easier to sign the riders).
