STEAD: Captain & legend will want to keep up momentum by slamming in a big score tonight. Will lead from the front and do a solid job for the team. Cant wait to see stylish Simon take to the tapes. NIELSEN: Nielsen will want to get dialled in and amongst the action. I really rate young Nielsen and cant wait to see him getting involved tonight. Will want to chip in with some useful points. LANHAM: Master stroke of a signing, Leigh loves Owlerton and will definitely weigh in with some healthy figures tonight, whilst his cool head, and useful advice to the other riders will go a long way. Great rider, great guy and great to have in the pits. Leigh will surely want to do a job on home shale tonight. POOLE: Taylor can ride Owlerton well, once his machinery is tuned in he will fly, maybe tonight is the night. Another great young signing with stacks of potential. Will surely bag a few points tonight. Go Taylor ! ROYNON: Super Adam has got off to a flyer so far. Adam will want to grab as many points as possible this evening - and is well capable ! Adam can fly around Owlerton and im sure he will be amongst the thick of it. Nothing would please me more than to see Adam have a great, safe season whilst slamming in the points. Linking up with Steady on home shale is dangerous for any oppostion rider. Go Adam ! (For me Adam will top score tonight). COMPTON: Our old mate Andre looks like he's rolled back the years and on his day nobody can touch him. Real weapon at reserve and will bag some big points tonight, Owlerton is his playground. BATES: Young Bates is a great signing, no fear and so much passion. WIll do the job required tonight, and as time goes on he will just get better and better. Great signing and will love it out there tonight.

Sheffield win for me tonight, Steady & Roynon will do some damage and Andre looks to have rolled a few years back and hes at reserve, a real weapon to have there ! Lanham looks solid and young Bates could surprise a few. Newcastle dangermen - Lewis Kerr & Anton Rosen.

Big Joe all the way for me, a complete master stroke having him installed as team manager. I think the team we have assembled for this year is amazing. Those people who think that the younger riders will not benefit from the guidance of Screeny, Steady & Andre + Leigh - all need their heads testing ! Cannot wait for the new season to start . Great manager, great riders, great team.

Nielsen will be fine, he just needs stability in a strong team - which he will have, and a good injury free run, may surprise a few.

I'll be there week in week out as always, and the team is looking great fir the coming season. NIce to feel the optimism is back and excitement with the fans is great.,

Shocked at no Facu or Koppe, but Simon Nielsen is a great addition - welcome to him ! And also great to see our stalwart Andre back, and at reserve!!!! So happy bring on the new season.

Totally agree with this post - under the guidance of Screeny, Stead & Lanham i think Bates can really flourish in this lineup. Taylor Poole is no slouch around Owlerton, we all know how much he likes to throttle it round there too, i reckon this guy could do some damage this season too.

I personally think Bates is an excellent addition to our team. He's only a young un' but hes more than held his own in the NL. I reckon after a few meetings to get tuned in he may surprise a few.

I still think it will be one of Albin OR Koppe to return, Albin showed a bit more grit and was very liked by the fans, but we will see what happens, hopefully we will get the team finalised this week. Part of me also finds it hard to believe that Koppe has gone back to Australia after competing over here in the winter. Either way this new look lineup has got the excitement going again with the fans, cant wait for March.

Andre will be confirmed soon I reckon and then I think he will be joined by one of Koppe or Albin.

The key now is to get Compton down to reserve. Which riders are still available that could make this happen ?

So so chuffed with how this team is shaping up, great signings and im so happy to see that the tigers are heading in the right direction ! Under the guidance of Stead and Screeny this team could do some damage ! Hats off to the promotion, very happy indeed.

But then again i did hear short while ago in the Star that Sheffield have been talking to an untried foreign rider ? so who knows ?!? guess all will be revealed soon. After comments in the latest Star i reckon Compton is a cert to return.

Not sure about the Morris situation as it stands, I personally hope it hasnt fallen through as I would love him in our lineup. Also that lineup you post looks good to me, id be happy with that. Hopefully some news soon
