Buster's done to Alwalton what he's done at Lynn. That was one of the best tracks anywhere but it's now a one-liner
-
Take no notice. He's never been anywhere near Alwalton. He's just a wind-up merchant
-
What? He's not riding!
-
Only these days
-
Did well then, better than MPT
-
So soccer is a mickey mouse sport due to players falling over for penalties. That's cheating. Anyway watching Hans again I don't think he could turn and finished up baling out and trapped under the bike
-
Why? He's like a lot of them. Couldn't care less about British speedway. So why line his pockets
-
Because he only rides for himself. I wouldn't touch him with a bargepole
-
He can't explain because he knows nowt. I wouldn't let him into Alwalton next week, or any week come to that.
-
You never said that when he was a Pirate
-
Pearson has never liked Peterborough, and Tatum couldn't ride Alwalton.
-
Wouldn't want him at any price
-
Don't want him. He's a disruptive influence. R/R much better
-
But it's certainly in doubt afterwards. Fans should start organising to fight the developers
-
Make the most of the Showground because it's unlikely to be staging speedway after 2024 I would think, with the new development plan coming out next April. Well done to the various agricultural show chairmen and committees for also allowing the annual show to disappear even though other societies are recording record crowds

So who was the ref. One says Jim McGregor, you say Dave Robinson, and the official score chart on Speedway GB says Mick Bates. -

Completely agree with you. You have to be somewhere a good few years to be a legend, not a leg end. -
Completely agree. He would almost certainly have got another point. Rob Lyon is usually so good, so would like his explanation on this one
-
Unless I missed it, they should put the riders score charts at the end

An Undertaker is what the sport needs if the BSPA keep on with the idea of league racing this year. Why not go with 4 Team Tournaments or open meetings. Let amateurs ride if necessary ; forget team racing ; Grasstrack racing has survived, always with open meetings. If only until the Pandemic disappears, lets just have some speedway on the tracks that are available. Who knows, the racing might well be better with individuals pitted against each other. You could also have different classes depending on experience. But you must have some fans to make it viable, and this is the biggest problem.

Thanks again. Proper derby stuff, even if dangerous; but there aren't the characters ( and they had to be bad, in a nice way, like Jack Millen ) about nowadays to get the crowds in.
-
Thanks. I did find the Wills Internationale of '79 this morning, but Panthers is a different kettle fish. I have got Panthers '95 DVD including the infamous Ben Howe, Ronni Pedersen, and Donkey episode. Worth looking at again

Can you let me know how you've managed to do it. All I can see is recent stuff. Many thanks
