Has Douglas been excluded for touching the tapes or for not being powered? If the race was restarted with Rowe being given a warning, surely it hadn't officially begun, i.e. it wasn't a rerun. I guess the Referee will say that the green light was on ... -

Expect Sheffield to win, fairly comfortably. I’ll check Live Updates, but that’s the extent of my interest. -

Blimey, this one has really inspired the imagination of the BSF 🤪 -
Kings Lynn vs Ipswich KOC April 13th 7.30pm

Most are not "forced" to build their team - they make choices. KL chose to go with a genuine #1 and overall a stronger looking top 4, which restricted their options for riders 5 & 6. Signing Fricke might also have restricted the budget. Ipswich knew they were without Doyle and Sayfutdinov, which did admittedly force the likelihood of a strength-in-depth line-up, but they still had to make some choices ... Hellström-Bängs being the best from my perspective, i.e. instead of Jordan Jenkins. -

I would suggest: Hellstrurm-Bengs The effect of the umlauts is similar to the effect in German, so the overall sounds are short. Hope that makes sense?! -

Kevin Long was there last night, working for Rerun Videos - I'm guessing he was doing interviews for the live stream? The "new" presenter is Stephen Foster, who has done it before when Long was unavailable. There was a big collective sigh when he was announced for 2026 - a great bloke, hugely experienced local radio presenter, but most definitely not a sports event announcer. At least Mike Western's fluent Swedish gave us the correct pronunciation of Hellstrom-Bangs - it really is an amazing language 🙂 -

Hardly pumped. Despite having Fricke, they've got a similar problem to Ipswich in that they need others to be consistent. Castagna was frustratingly poor - and then popped out on the very dry surface to take a win, when Nicholls and Hellstrom-Bangs must have fancied their chances. As with any match: same riders, different night = different result. -
Shirley that would be attempted appropriation from Exeter ...

The Leicester NDL team is called the Fox Cubs - I've always wondered why not the Lion Cubs ...
-
Except Ipswich, where the loocals call their teaum: Towen - with the cheery encouragement "Uppa Towen!".
-
How do you know he hasn't been named? Just because they can't be bothered to tell the customers ... After all, they've announced Northampton as a new team, but it seems that the track still hasn't been approved ... lots of assumptions being made ...
-
The first section of that is irrelevant, because the team has not been redeclared. There's no doubt the Bears will get 28 days, and if Wright is still not fit after that another facility will be will almost certainly be approved.
-
What about Northampton?

Because it's really expensive for any individual to set up and maintain? -
So ... according to the FIM, Hellstrom-Bangs' ban applies to Sweden: https://fimspeedway.com/news/hellstrom-bangs-swedish-league-ban-halved
-
It’s the 1.5 conversion rate …
-
You only need to look at the Witches Facebook page to see the popular reaction to Nicholls. He will bring paying customers into the stadium, and is worth the risk if he can score. It also ensures Hellstrom-Bangs starts at reserve.
-
I'm guessing he was in Louis' plans, but he put the club up for sale, and the new promotion decided they would take a punt on Hellstrom-Bangs.
-
Klindt had a couple of league meetings at reserve for KL last season, which helped to boost his away average. His best away scores in the 1-5 were at Brum and Oxford. King didn't really have any major away performances, but an absolute stinker (0) at Leicester and two poor meetings (2 and 2+1) at Oxford.
-
Ipswich Swatches - not the brand name, just small bits of material backing.
-
It looked like it was written by someone with the new owners in mind - and not proofread (or not very well), considering they didn't even introduce Richard Coleman ... his surname appears almost incidentally. On the Witches Facebook page, even Elvin King said: "Who's Coleman?". Did CL know when the precise timing of the Press Release? Since announcing the sale, he has rightly only released info when there was something he could say without compromising the identity of the buyers or any specific aspects of the deal.
-
No idea. Only going by what I've read, and reaching my own conclusions. If I'm wrong, it doesn't make any difference to me - the Prem is still in a mess, and there's no evidence they are planning for anything other than getting through another season.
