Does anybody know if Charles Wright has recovered from injury to take his place today ?

You obviously not seen many meetings at sheffield this season.Charles Lasse Kyle Todd and now Broc have been doing it regular.

Glad to see the Broc knockers have gone quiet.We don't want him being top scorer every meeting or his average will rocket for next season..I think the promotion should be getting some credit for his services after the slating they've had recently.

I remember Billy Sanders guesting at Wolves for us and he was good round monmore green but sadly got injured heat one so we got hammered. As much as we hate guests it's the nature of speedway.Every team gets let down and every body gets a good choice on occasions so it's no good moaning about it,it's just frustrating.If we had both been at full strength it would have been a classic. Glad to see Broc winning races but let's hope he's not too successful and we get screwed with team building next season.As for this season it's not happening for us so I think we should just accept we going to win nothing unless we get Kyle and Charles fit and replace Bjerre on his away performances.

Incident packed to say the least. Todd was excluded when there was clearly a tapes malfunction then Georgie had mechanical problems . Then we had 2 impressive heat wins for auty and garritty before broc rode a cracking line to win heat 5. Onto heat 6 where garritty left Todd no room and he finished up under the fence then in the rerun Todd was fired up and went passed garritty who unfortunately ran into the back of Todd and cartwheeled down the back straight,shame because it spoils a good race.we then got a bit of a lead before Charles picked up some grip and slammed into the home straight fence.cant believe he came back out for heat 13 and got a 2 ND place.Well done to the other 3 for avoiding him.A lucky 5-1 in heat 14 after Allen had got it in the bag until he broke down.Heat 15 was run after the flexible curfew and nobody was catching the super fast Berge,he was awesome last night,hopefully he won't be tonight.In all it was a fast and furious meeting and very entertaining.Well done to all the riders hope all the injuries soon mend..I hope 12 points will be enough but can't see it with Scunthorpe getting Schlein in as guest .

I think Scunthorpe will have enough to beat us especially if Charles is missing can't see 12 points been enough .

Howarth will be a big miss and if berge rides like he can round sheffield we will be in trouble .we can't afford no passengers. If we go out of the cup and fail in the fours I fear the season could be all but over .we need a decent lead tomorrow to stand any chance of going through .

I hope worrall rides Scunthorpe better than he does sheffield or we will get smashed !!!!

According to Pete Adams interview on bt sports Kyle will be out for a week or two.he dislocated his shoulder and it was out of the joint for 2 hours possibly affecting his ligaments so looks like guests again this week.Nothing on our website. !!!

I take it the meetings still on? Nothing on our website or Twitter ? Hope Lasse turns up with his home form then we might have a chance of a point

I would guess from a promotors point of view they want a team thats top 4 which means they need to get points home and away which keeps the interest alive with the chance of winning the league. More meetings means more profit.While they've been in office we've had better teams and they are not afraid to make changes to try and win things.The crowds have improved we are the current champions and hopefully we will make the play offs again.I have no problem with lasses home form he's terrific to watch but josh g can beat people from the back and get points away so I think that is why they would look to change.Only my opinion.It might not be allowed any way but at least it's got the best out of Lasse ,let's hope he can improve away and we will be fine.I must agree Nichol looked decent last night hope the crash doesn't knock his confidence.Hope he's the trump card at Newcastle ,small tracks should suit him.

If we can get josh g back it's a no brainer.away form better and equally as good at home.To win the league you must get points away and Lasse has been nowhere near where he should be.If your heat leader scores zero your going to get spanked.His recent riding at home has been excellent some of his moves have been awesome and if he rode like that away we would be top of the league.

I noticed a couple of times Harris knocked it off when it got a bit tight where as the old Harris would not have so probably he has got one eye on retirement. I think Glasgow were beaten by a team that were up for it.

Good performance from Sheffield tonight. Lasse was on fire 2 maximums in 2 weeks need to do it away now. Great ride from Broc to win on his debut. Charles picked up after 2 bad early rides. Kyle and Todd solid pairing and Georgie will soon get dialled in. James had his best meeting for a while.Sergeant did well when he gated didn't do a deal if he missed the start the rest were poor.

I think they want to replace Lasse due to his poor away form which is understandable. Round owlerton he's been awesome

I've only seen Nichol on TV he looked on the pace but not sure if he's the answer. Time will tell let's hope he's a trump card as for Georgie welcome back and hit the ground running tomorrow .Hes done well at Eastbourne so should be confident.

Well done to our 4 maximum men ,that doesn't happen often.There were a few good races on a poor track last night and a few nasty falls,I hope the riders involved have a speedy recovery.Its always the same after a stock car meeting.Cant see Berwick finishing in the top 4 ,it was a poor effort from most of their side.

League leaders in town tomorrow will we be good enough to send them home pointless ? If everybody's on form think we will be ok but with rumours of change are our Danes going to be up for it ? We can't afford to be gifting any more points like we have so far.

Read somewhere his new average just above 8 . ?? This is speedway so who knows. I'd be happy if it does fit.When is the transfer deadline ?

Hope we can make our changes this week in time for Thursdays meeting as we need to freshen things up urgently.The longer we leave it the less matches we will have to get in the play offs and at this moment in time looks like we going to miss out.

Nasty crash Barker seemed to lose control and turned left in front of Jack who had nowhere to go. Hope both lads have a speedy recovery.Redcar had quite a few falls last night and seem to be having a season like we had not too long ago.Does Jans loan finish tonight?

We can get enough blank weeks with rain offs.Weve had some dry Thursday's with no fixtures as was expected.If the meetings don't get rained off till late in season we are still going to get a mass scramble to get them in.Thats speedway.I would rather have double the fixtures and risk some rain offs but that's just my opinion.The more meetings the better rather than the lack of fixtures we have now.June and July we have 2 home league matches in each.
