Any news on guest for Saturdays meeting at Leicester ?

Not long now before the season starts lets hope we can get an injury free season for a change.Good luck to all our team members.Play offs minimum hopefully.

Well done Peterboro,deserved win on the night.Were more up for it than our lads.We couldn't get near Barker all night.Last night showed we are now weaker without guests for Steady.Garritty is not a number 1 yet and we needed Bates at reserve to have any chance.The promotion tried to go a different way with the team and it has failed.One of few mistakes they've made this season.Praise to them for their efforts throughout a very tough season.I think the track wasn't as good as normal with the usual grip which didn't help our lads who are use to the grippy surface we usually have.Oh well 2nd leg to come but not holding on to much hope for us,expect to lose by about 16 points would be my guess.Not happy with the date for the 2nd leg as I don't get back from holiday till the 28th !!!!!! how inconsiderate of the peterboro promotion !!! wonder if they could change it ?

A few weeks ago we went to peterboro with 4 of our riders one of which was ill and shouldn't have rode,2 guests and r/r !!! We accepted the late fixture against our promotions wishes.No peterboro fans wanted that meeting putting back if I recall !!!!! This is the way speedway is at the moment so weve just got to get on with it.Weve had to do that all season.Cant see peterboro putting a poor team out anyway so cant see the problem.

Not the best meeting to be fair but a fair result.Would have been interesting had Kennett made the final and gated ? I think the best meetings are at night but with all the travelling fans it would have a big effect on the crowd.Well done to all the lads who made the final especially Ulrich.If we get Peterboro in the play offs I hope he has an off night.

I think Garritty is in the same boat as Brady,when the pressure is on he tends to over ride.Jason is obviously marmite with speedway fans all over the country.Most Sheffield supporters love him and he could be in the mix on sunday along with Cook,wells,kurtz Lawson and masters.Weather forecast looks good for sunday so looking forward to a cracking meeting.

Think its 13th or 14th September.We need some sort of meeting before the play offs ,inter league challenge or best pairs or something.I know there not every bodys cup of tea but the team need to be ready for the play offs.Crowds have been very solid this season so might be worth taking a chance !!!!!!

Well done to scunny track staff to get the meeting on,Ithink scunny lads wanted it more than us early on which was probably understandable due to all the injuries weve had.Bellego and Garritty were very good value,andre and paco put plenty effort in.Mellgren lost points in one race and josh wasn't his usual self.As for klindt rode a cracking race when he won and then was very poor in his others ???? Disappointed after getting the 5-1 in heat 12,really fancied us to go on and win then we had 2 bad races.Hope all the lads will be fired up for the play offs.

Good result last night need to do same at scunny.Looking forward to seeing Aspergen at reserve hope he can be the trump card.

Good result but we had to work hard for it.Fair play to scunny for not giving up after douglas injury.Hope he has a speedy recovery.Brady Josh and Jason were good value,Paco and Nik showed glimpses of what they can do,both need more track time.Arthur had one of those nights and david was solid.All in all another 3 points towards the play offs.I think safety needs a good overhaul in the winter,there has been far too many serious injuries this season.The air fence needs modifying to weight it down and the bikes need slowing down slightly.The number of good safe riders who have had serious injuries this season in worrying.

Very entertaining meeting with some quality racing and a good result.Josh Bates awesome performance,hope he can start doing it away now.Good to Arthur putting in a good performance too.Thought Bates was unlucky not to get a max especially when his team mate chopped across him to stop his run.All in all a great performance from the team.Not sure about the Klindt signing but at least the promotors are trying their best.Good luck to all the team tomorrow.

Yes you are right the guest ruling is quite complicated this season what with injuries,doubling up and down cant keep track whos replacing who lately. !!!!! Be interesting who the new rider will be as there isn't much choice out there.Lets hope we can pull a rabbit out of the hat.

I think we will have to be on form tomorrow.cant afford any passengers.Hope we can get a guest in for andre.I don't like R/R we generally get another injury or riders off form when we use it for heat leader cover.Lets hope we can get a good win to set us up for the weekend.

Before a wheel was turned last night I thought we may pull the points back but as the meeting unfolded it was going to be just out of reach.As good as josh is riding at the moment he needs to be aware where his team mate is.He stuffed Brady and david and cost us points but that hopefully will come with experience.Arthurs still struggling with the race line and needs a bit of advice.Last night we ran too many lasts and Glasgow did a good job on us.Oh well lets make sure we make the play offs to extend our season..Paco looked to be getting quicker each lap until coming off.I think it would have been good to let him ride tonight at Peterborough with it been a big track but I can see the benefit of letting him feel his way next week in a challenge match.

Should be a cracking meeting tomorrow,decent choice of guests.Shame both sides cant be at full strength with their original line ups.Looking forward to a good meeting.hope all the riders keep safe.

Correct ,that's our prerogative and we like to stay and make a weekend out of it and we have to pay the inflated prices which are ridiculous but that's what it is.If you want to travel then travel.My gripe is why cant we rebook when we check out,its bloody stupid paying your bill while your there then ringing up the same person the next day.Wheres the sense in that.?

We asked this morning at reception and was told they didn't know the date for next year as we do every year.We choose to stay for the weekend because we enjoy doing that and its too far to travel for the day.An announcement could be made in the stadium before the end of the meeting.It doesn't have to go out live on tv. Weve tried that and there not all that reasonable,then you have to taxi into Cardiff and back to the hotel.

Its the same every year,its a farce and shows no respect for the supporters who travel every year.

Good to see both young reserves getting some action and experience.The track was smoother than usual.Wasnt a classic but seen a lot worse.Cookie tried hard and just missed the cut,Harris was poor again and Wuffy put in a brilliant heat 19 which was top drawer.Thanks for the entertaining wheelies from Wuffy and Holder,well done lads.Congratulations to Iversen on a good win,wasnt the best all night but won when it mattered.Good weekend.

Why cant the date be announced at the G.P. last night ? That way people can rebook the hotel there and then !!!! Most people there last night will be at work tomorrow when its announced,The mass scramble for over priced hotels will start tomorrow.Just shows how appreciated us fans are.

Another quality meeting and a great result.It could and should have been a bigger score.Some cracking racing from Kurtz,compton,bates,garritty and Bellego.The track has been a lot better this season enabling the true races to get stuck in.Thanks to Brady Kurtz a brilliant choice of guest,hes welcome anytime to Sheffield.Well done to all the team.Hope we can take that form with us to Glasgow on Tuesday.
