Indirect discrimination - putting rules or arrangements in place that apply to everyone, but that put someone with a protected characteristic at an unfair disadvantage.

Non British riders on higher averages are being allowed to double up, a ruling passed at a conference does not trump employment discrimination laws. The rights and wrongs of the 'ruling' would be irrelevant in the appropriate court imo ....
