Anyone know anything about the regeneration of the Crystal Palace Sports Stadium? It seems there is a Sports Consortium (with money) bringing the derelict stadium back to life??

Said it earlier and I stick by it, Poole won the gate toss twice and both times chose wrongly!! Those of us in the Poole grandstand every week were shouting loudly (but clearly not loud enough!) 2&4 for heat 1.

Joe probably let heat 2 get into his head. Most Glasgow fans probably thought it was a rightful exclusion while Poole fans though it was a harsh decision with Joe in front at the time of Ace's off!

Didn't the Courteny's confirm in their end-of-season statement that they would be concentrating on improving their Championship team?!

Whatever the number of teams/leagues in 2024 - 2leagues (+NDL); 6 and 8 teams respectively, imo) - then fixture planning and the number/structure of competitions will need extra thought to avoid big clashes with TV Olympics coverage and Euro '24 matches, quite apart from the usual issues. At least Championship clubs can have some flexibility with their race nights!

Just scrape all the top shale back so the track is smooth and quicker to dry. Should be OK!

There are probably a lot more defunct greyhound tracks/stadia than speedway tracks in the UK. I presume many have been redeveloped but could it be one of those?

Slough used to have a greyhound track which was also the home of Slough Town FC many years ago. I seem to recall a supermarket being built on the site but it's a long time ago.
