  1. I've heard both. 36 for the 1-6 plus a 2 pointer(R/S) and/or 38.
  2. So what do I know? Saturday it is then! Only the Rugby World Cup semi final clashing time-wise!?
  3. I can't see Saturday being an option with the difficulty of getting stadium staff - many of whom have other work on a Saturday, including at the Vitality?!
  4. Not sure that'll be the case in 2024 with the rumoured points limit. There should be plenty of riders around and only a certain number of team/squad places available in Poland!
  5. Jubilee Poole v Leicester confirmed for Wednesday 25th October as a one-off meeting at Wimborne Road. Leicester 1-7 based on a 40 point average as at start of 2023!
  6. I guess it'll be decided on whatever is seen as in the best interest of British Speedway?
  7. I think any effect on today's attendance is more likely to be 'freeze your proverbials off in the sunshine at speedway or sit in the comfort of your warm home watching the National Team in a World Cup'?
  8. Surely Phil Morris has only been appointed as 'Chief Executive of Premiership Speedway' rather than the whole sport.?! His main aims, certainly initially, were to improve the presentation (promotion?) by all Premiership clubs for Eurosport/Discovery TV. I'm sure there is a Monty Python quote somewhere - "he's not the Messiah.....................?" (I forget the rest!)
  9. Its England v Fiji in the Rugby World Cup, kick off 4pm and live on mainstream tv, ie ITV1
  10. Some people need to remember that Richard Lawson has been carrying a leg/ankle injury in recent weeks which he will not have treated til the close season!
  11. The BE Planning Consultant (was that Hooper?) is the same chap who Osborne has as Consultant for his Swindon Motorsports project?! Read into that what you will........
  12. Inquiry adjourned further by 3 weeks to 27/28 November.
  13. I think those guys spending so much time down those mines deserve some occasional booze! Oh hang on, minors!?
  14. Not sure? I believe its not just the old derelict athletics stadium but the whole complex that's being regenerated for a variety of sports.
  15. Both are rearranged meetings so usually the senior fixture takes precedence. I'm sure Chairman Rob checked it out first.
  16. Because the Facennas said they would only move up once they'd won the Championship. Just think of the extra kudos of moving up and winning an 'inferior' league!
  17. Maximum 6 month bans for both then!? - backdated to September 11th.
  18. They might not have a stadium to race in in 2025 anyway. Its the greyhound people again calling the shots and even they haven't got a long term lease without knowing the Perry Barr Developer's plans and time scale, under pressure from the skint Council to build on it asap!!
