  1. Guess the meaningless part is pretty subjective. Depends on what you hope to get from this speedway meeting. Fifteen heats of innumerable moments in time in a constant image [unless you blink or get get hit right on the eye ball by shale] for your eyes to send to your brain and store away. Who knows, your brain may enjoy what it sees and remember the image of a great race forever. And the riders are at work. it sure means something the them. Oh and the weathers gonna be great. Summer'Sunshine'friends. It's a long winter
  2. Still intend to go along, have a few pints and enjoy a good nights racing. I don't think it's a pointless meeting, so what if the league's over for us, I enjoy watching speedway .
  3. The Leicester promotion sound horrid! I don't like the sound of these people. Glyn Taylor should take a walk, Just for the sake of his own dignity! If the rumours are true that is!
  4. The fact that Kennet could have six rides, plus the form of wethers',Bellego, and Aspergren , I would agree with this. Hopefully Kozza's fit soon though. Is Proctor fit yet?
  5. Great racing on a great track. Barker was incredible, the Berwick track is made for him. Can't fault any Berwick riders tonight, Paul Starke's last ride determination to hit the front was impressive after a few poor rides. The entertainment value has gone up ten fold from the start of the season. Glasgow gonna be tough now without Barrett and possibly Kozza
  6. Going for a draw, reckon Plymouth have the edge at reserve. Chris schramm can be great at Berwick
  7. Nicki Barrett could be the match winner for Berwick, brilliant around Ashfield. Two pretty evenly matched teams it seems, hard one to call. Lets hope we see some good racing
  8. Andre was a good hard rider who lost his enthusiasm for the sport as opposed to his guts, bottle ,balls, whatever! Seems like he's up for it, so could we see the Compton of old? Fast, aggressive and a good team man. Coupled with the fact that Crazy Ringwood goes to reserve Glasgow may have the makings of a good team. Still think Berwick will win sunday though
  9. Fancy a point from this match. Bellego was flying in France last sunday. Berwick have the riders to perform at Redcar, however the loss of Kus may make the Bears stronger.
  10. Yeah of course he was scared, you could see in his Body language when riding the bike that he wasn't interested, didnt want to mix it on the first bend. Yet despite the obvious he's jeered and sworn at by the usual fools on the entry to the back straight, the same ones that would probobly have his babies if he won a race! Talk about getting behind the riders! Shout words of incouragement and he might just get going, you lot just make these guys feel worse than they allready do.
  11. The track needs to be prepared for entertaining speedway. I support Berwick yes but would rather see berwick get beat at home and have great racing than see a Berwick win with poor racing. Nothing wrong with the team, they were just missing the gate, with no chance of passing on a super slick track. Its such a shame, when Berwick's prepared well the racing can be very good.
  12. Who cares! I like watching him race a speedway bike. These are wild men.
  13. Yeah berwick won, thats great. but so so boring. i like being entertained, i like passing, i like eciting speedway. This track used to be grippy and the racing was ordinary. Now that its slick its awfull. DIRT DIRT DIRT. Proper dirt not powder dirt....
  14. Let it be on the back page of the sun! I for one would welcome a wild young speedway rider all over the red tops.. Maybe this is what speedway needs!! Speedway the family sport gone bad. Yeah!
