Brilliant meeting so far. Why did Emil stick to the inside? Possibly he hasn’t got enough tactical speedway brain? -

Madsen on fire! Brilliant stuff from the Dane and clearly not popular amongst the Poles in attendance. -

Agree with Arthur there needs to be an extra rider with differing opinions. They just agree with other on everything. Put some spice in there with someone outspoken. This meeting has been great from heat one. Take not Belle Vue. Had to wait until heat 15 for a good race. -

Part and parcel of the sport. Poole went into the playoffs without Ward and lost. Couldn’t cover for him. -
Ipswich vs Belle Vue 1/8/19

Let’s be honest here. Ipswich have done very well this year and have surprised everyone, myself included. The form of Cameron Heeps, who has ripped up the form book and considerably increased his average is one of the main reasons Ipswich have done so well. They have strength in depth and easily the best two reserves in the league. KP at reserve is quite frankly ridiculous. However. The chinks are now showing. They have been ripped a new one at home by Poole, then scrapped home against Wolves and Belle Vue. Where they were clear at the top, they are now barely hanging onto Pirates shirt tails. Poole now have a meeting in hand and next weeks top of the table clash is going to be paramount in deciding who finishes top and gets the puck in the semis. With Poole starting to come back to full strength after a period where half the team were out of action, I struggle to see them beaten over two legs by Ipswich. Is it time for changes at Ipswich to bolster their championship ambitions? -

As FB has said Richie is worth more than 5 at home. The way it’s looking he won’t be replaced. Can’t be that far off a return. -

After the injury issues the team are now starting to flourish. Brady now back and scoring well, Holder improving, Nivcolai and Josh a solid scoring engine room. Nico needs to get over his injury which held him back last night. Ricky starting to try outside runs. Beginning to look very good again. Only 5 points picked up from Richie’s spot. He can do better than that. The top two clash next Thursday at Wimborne Road. Looking forward to it. -

Ipswich struggled to see off Wolves last week and Belle Vue last night with Fricke misfiring. Next week at Poole should be a stonker and could decide who finished top. -
From what I can gather, they have not paid their next instalment. Legal action could well be coming, so the club are obligated to continue treating them as Main sponsors so as not to be in breach of their contract should it go legal.

Just got back from a stonking meeting tonight at Wimborne Road. IMO the best meeting we have seen this season with some balls to the walls racing and thrilling entertainment. A big crowd at Poole tonight to see the return of Brady Kurtz and he rode very well. The strength of the team is starting to shine through and we managed to blag our way through the last month with a weakened line up. Tonight we turned the corner. First of all Charles Wright was well received as the new British Champion. He said he had never known so many pele wanting pics with him, congratulating him etc. Nice guy. The racing tonight was very good. Track perfectly prepared. Just the right amount of shale, perfectly watered. And it led to some classic battles from as early as heat 3 with Josh cutting past the Panthers duo over the course of the heat to join Klindt for a 5-1. Wright passed Covatti like he was standing still, Klindt charged under both Panthers, Wright got between Klindt and Wells off the final bend as the three went over the line together. Holder and Hans passed and reposed... it was all happening. Special mention for Ryan Douglas whose first visit to Poole netted him 10 deserved points including a heat win. For Poole: Holder did well before missing it completely in heat 15 r/r got just 5 points. Klindt was excellent for 13 points. So consistent at the moment. Best season ever? Josh had 3paid wins and a couple of lasts. His last ride saw him badly impeded entering bend three which saw the end of his chance to score. Kurtz was excellent. One poor ride when he got blocked out by a derailed Nicholls. Covatti is clearly not fully fit. Struggled for his 4 points. Wells battled but needs to use the outside more. For Panthers: Tungate was poor overall. One race win which was caused by Nicholls blocking ability. Nicholls was excellent all night. Wright battled and I thought would have got heat 15 but it was given to the guest (which was deserved) Proctor was very poor tonight. Hans is clearly not race fit. Had one good battle with Holder. Summers was poor. Douglas impressed all night. Paid ten for a first visit is exceptional. When Speedway is dished up like this there’s absolutely nothing wrong with the sport. Wimborne Road showing why it is one of the best tracks in the country. -

Looking at that Peterborough lineup I am impressed and think this is far from a 3 point gift. Good guests and good reserves. Should be a thriller tonight. -

To get to Poole stadium from Edgbaston in an hour, would mean travelling at 163 miles an hour, all the way. A private plane would not get you there on time. His only chance is a good helicopter, which would need to take off next to the wicket on the last ball, and land on the centre green at Wimborne Road. Other than obtaining all the permissions needed, which would be impossible, and the costs, which would be prohibitive to anyone but a oliogarth, it all come down to one fact. He is full of crap. -
Not at all. Could be a company after free advertising. I am not saying they are, but a carpet cleaning company is not a big sponsor in the scheme of things and perhaps overstepped their advertising budget. A company could make an initial payment, but when the next payment is due, try to spin it out until the club ‘pull the rug’, so to speak! I am not saying this is the case. Only other time I can recall an issue with main sponsor is when Coastal Aluminium went bust. The Poole promotion had obviously been paid so kept them as main team sponsors even after the company had folded, so that no litigation could come their way. With Poole top of the league, it cannot be a performance issue.

Obviously using a private jet and parachuting out over the stadium. -
Could be he other way around for all we know. Have they paid their bill?

Hope Matt lays on a lap of honour for Charles Wright. Fully deserved it tonight. -
Pirates are back in action Thursday night after a two week break to greet Peterborough in the Premier league. Last time the two teams met Panthers took away three league points. Will they do it again? Not a chance! Panthers got lucky in the A fixture with Poole missing three riders. This time around Brady should be back at number one, and hopefully Covatti has further recovered after missing Somersets meeting on Saturday night. R/R continues for Richie Worrall. Thoughts?

Before my time but I would not have agreed with it. Schlein is not British in any shape or form.
-
Hope not I want a Brit to win it. He is taking a Brits spot in the lineup. Totally wrong.
