  1. Completely flat for the playoff final. A shame. Twenty point lead coming up.
  2. Look at the teams in 2010. Plus CH was in peak WC form back then before his accident.
  3. Think the BSPA should bring in the Polish rule in that all tracks should be prepared within certain parameters. They had all day to prepare a decent surface but produced this. Yes it gives Ipswich a massive home advantage but for the fans it’s a very poor spectacle.
  4. Chris Holder can’t handle the conditions. Never rode Ipswich well in his Pirate days and back then the track was smoother and slick. He will have a lot of making up to do in the second leg.
  5. Ipswich have nailed on 8 points in 13 and 15 unless Lambert can get in there. They should have a healthy lead.
  6. Now Howarth takes a purler. The showcase event wrecked by track prep.
  7. The two mins needs to come on while Tatum is showing the replay rather than waiting for it to be done. with the tractor out, hopefully they can get some of the lumps and bumps out and slicked it off a bit. Not an entertaining meeting, with Pickering, Lawson and Holder especially struggling badly.
  8. It’s absolutely nothing like Poole. Poole is very smooth and slick. This is the opposite.
  9. Terrible rough track. Hume all four back a joke. Track causing riders to be all over the place. Lawson who is a seasoned rider struggling to turn a bike. Embarrassing for a final. Might see heat 15 by 10.30pm
  10. Seriously Glasgows to lose. Looking at the teams they have a clear advantage and are at home. If they fail it would be a major surprise.
  11. Well if Vissing is not fit tonight, he surely will be for the final in a weeks time so no excuse not to use him. He said he was fit and speedway doesn’t use a squad system, so Glasgow would perhaps need a doctors certificate to counter the rider saying he is fit. It would be very poor to leave a rider out of the team who help get the club to the final in the first place.
  12. I have never scrolled down to see that. But at least it’s there so I can use it. Thanks
  13. Watch Eurosport and watch Glasgow v Oxford immediately afterwards, “live”. And hope Kelvin Tatum doesn’t give any score updates.
  14. Quite unbelievable that Ipswich are running tomorrow night against the football. They could lose 1000+ off the gate and have ridden on Wednesday. Many local sports fans must be well peed off. There’s little choice for the locals to make as they would have already purchased their football ticket in advance so won’t waste it. The biggest meeting for the speedway club in recent years and they get it completely wrong. Lets just hope the rain materialises later this afternoon or is the foul up of the decade.
  15. And they are up against Glasgow v Oxford in the championship playoffs on BSN. Wednesday would have been a far better choice for fans.
  16. Not sure Pickering will be good enough to leave the Championship and make premier league and abroad work. He had his backside whipped by Lawson, Worrall and Zach Cook on his own patch last night.
  17. Thanks Martin that has never been made clear and I bet most didn’t know the feature existed! Might be worth adding a text line explaining this feature is available.
  18. Another little improvement, if possible, is to have “chapters”, or bookmarks in replays so we can scroll directly to the following heat and watch a recorded meeting in less than 30 mins. Would save time and BSN bandwidth.
  19. Entertaining meeting and hope the Monarchs are back for next year. Wonder where Pickering is going to end up? A few miles to the west?
  20. Be interesting to know just how many subscribers BSN had this season. Matt said it as in its infancy and was doing well. How to increase the subscriber base is tricky. Where to advertise to get signups is limited. There are probably more speedway fans unaware of BSN than know about it, and in these harsh Tory economic times funds are tight for many families. On top of that is piracy which is a bane for many sports networks. Finding a way to eliminate accounts that are shared is not easy.
